By the way, Cynthia Cooper introduced the euro-step to American basketball, because she had played for over a decade in European professional leagues. The WNBA came into existence in 1986 and that's when she came home and played WNBA basketball. With the Houston Rockets she won , 3 scoring titles, and 4 WNBA championships, all after the age of 34. She'll always be my goat, plus I played half court with her once at Windside Park in Santa Monica California, back when she was rocking the jeri curl.
Unfortunately some players were unable to make it for the ceremony. They did list the players though. Swoopes was an absolutely killer on the basketball court

Speaking as a SPORTS fan since 1987, out of the four names you noted, only Dawn Staley has a legitimate argument to be included on the W25 list based on her body of work in the WNBA as dominant playmaking point guard. Sadly Rebecca Lobo WNBA career was short, injury plagued and not as productive as her great UConn and Team USA years leading her into broadcasting. Jennifer Azzi's WNBA career was neither long or productive as her All-American years at Stanford. Lastly, Cheryl Ford who was key contributor to three title winners with Detroit only had two standout seasons her first 4 years in WNBA before injury in her 5th season derailed her career as well.
