@@yinitialize4930 😂 Nice job revealing you're stupid. NBA and WNBA use the same hoop size, but the WNBA ball is smaller. It's objectively easier to put a smaller ball in the same size hoop.
All though very impressive shooting, it should be noted that the WNBA 3 Point line is closer in distance than the NBA 3 Point line. Pointing that fact out is important if you're going to state she broke the WNBA record AND the NBA record.
Technically its all the same. Men have bigger hands, so bigger ball size. It wouldn’t make sense for women to use the same size as us, it would be physically impossible for them to dribble and have handles, let alone shoot the ball… the 3 point line is close for them because they’re shorter than most men, so it wouldn’t make the game make a lot of sense for them if we implemented the same things. There would be less 3 pointers than what there already is in the wnba…. Not to mention she just challenged Steph Curry to a 3 point contest. She used the ball that they use in the wnba but she shot the 3 pointers from the same distance the nba has it & she was still able to put up more points that some of the nba players in the 3 point contest this year

The NBA 3-point line is 23-feet, The WNBA line is 20-foot, 6 inches. Why diminish her excellent shooting by lying about it's significance? Let her be great. Her form is beautiful and her performance was legendary. Leave it at that.
Yeah, that's great for the WNBA, but it's not an *NBA* record. The ball is literally smaller. It's literally easier. Just call it as it is, an *INCREDIBLE WNBA* record.
but the ball is small too for o neal, why he can't shoot threes?
@@yinitialize4930 😂 Nice job revealing you're stupid. NBA and WNBA use the same hoop size, but the WNBA ball is smaller. It's objectively easier to put a smaller ball in the same size hoop.
How is it an NBA record?? She does not play in the NBA. ESPN, please stop it 🛑
All though very impressive shooting, it should be noted that the WNBA 3 Point line is closer in distance than the NBA 3 Point line. Pointing that fact out is important if you're going to state she broke the WNBA record AND the NBA record.
People who point it out will be called misogynist's, racist's and bigot's 😆
Technically its all the same. Men have bigger hands, so bigger ball size. It wouldn’t make sense for women to use the same size as us, it would be physically impossible for them to dribble and have handles, let alone shoot the ball… the 3 point line is close for them because they’re shorter than most men, so it wouldn’t make the game make a lot of sense for them if we implemented the same things. There would be less 3 pointers than what there already is in the wnba…. Not to mention she just challenged Steph Curry to a 3 point contest. She used the ball that they use in the wnba but she shot the 3 pointers from the same distance the nba has it & she was still able to put up more points that some of the nba players in the 3 point contest this year
Do short men with small hands get to shoot3 feet closer with a smaller hand against guys like KD and Klay? No they don’t. And they don’t get to and claim nba records. Your logic is lacking
@@collincris739 you say my logic is lacking but yours is too, yeah they’re short players with short hands but those short players with small hands are bigger than the average tall women player in the wnba… imagine having to adapt to a new distance in your 3 pointers and doing very well at it, I’m not saying she’s better than curry or nba players but I do give credit where is due and she went off against curry
Women’s basketball REALLY needed this 🙌🏾
She was epic in this contest and you can tell she's consistent BUT it eont help the overall WNBA product and it's perception
@@MrEagles9359 it’s a good spark in my opinion. The league just needs to keep it going. Do extraordinary things despite the physical set backs.
Last year was pretty impressive too with Quigley winning her 4th in a row. What Sabrina did today was record mind blowing impressive too.
@JerseyMac11 I didn't think there was any difference between men and women physically at least that's what the maniacs think.
We know there's a massive difference between the 2.
@@MrEagles9359 Huge differences. They’re generally physically not nearly as explosive as we are. But basketball is more than high flying explosiveness. This is just one example of things they can do just as well or better than NBA players to spark the interest their league needs
A truly amazing performance by Sabrina. I’m just somewhat annoyed at all these titles and headlines saying she broke the wmba and nba record when she didn’t
The contest are different. Nba is further away and with a bigger ball so you can’t say she broke the nba record when the conditions are different.
@@AIBOAST-COMthe men's basketball is bigger and the 3 point line is much farther back. It's not the same
@@AIBOAST-COMyea the wnba line is 20 feet 6 in the nba line is 23ft 9 in . And the ball is bigger in size and lighter but they are shooting on the same size rim I agree great performance but shouldn’t be compared
Then why has not any NBA player done this? They are taller and stronger get paid more etc but can’t do this? lmao just say she put all of those nba stars into her shadow.
@@karigrandii I literally explained why smh… can’t read or sum? It’s so much of an advantage to shoot on a same sized rim but with a smaller ball the margin for error is so much smaller. You give steph that ball he’s might genuinely make 100 in a row couple that with the fact she’s pretty much shooting a step and a half back from a nba ft line it’s not even close .the starry ball isn’t even nba range smh
WNBA 3pt line is Closer tho... why even compare the record to NBA. So odd. Pointless.
I don't think it's fair to say she broke the NBA record when she's using a smaller ball and the 3-point line is way closer than the NBA's.
It looks like Larry Bird in the first three point shot contest in 1986, he missed the first shot in the final round and after that he went crazy!!!
Wow unprecedented performance she killed it
Looking at the she really killed it the only difference is the 3-point line is moved back 3 ft shorter than the NBA
Great performance but is the ball not smaller than what guys are shooting with?
And the decrease of weight also helps the shooting form and fatigue. Not only that but it is also less far.
@@friendlydm exactly with the smaller ball it makes it easier to shoot and doesnt exactly cause fatigue it just makes it easier for you to shoot it but with the regular ball using the NBA and the NCAA for men that's when it causes fatigue and it's harder for you today cuz the ball is heavier
@@1newme425 nevermind I thought it was backwards by yeah what you said
That was so awesome ❤
Awesome moment for sports 🙌
Sports in general
The Warriors need to make history and sign Sabrina to a contract ASAP!
the NBA ball is 29.5" the WNBA ball is 28.5", celebrate the Great Accomplishment, but why push the Equity part, when its 2 completely different sports?
« Completly diferent » why you act like it’s 10 cm diference lmao, it’s doesn’t change anything. Republicans proving again they hate women
Is it really the NBA record with a smaller ball and a shorter 3 point line though?
It’s not
Absolutely
@@jasoncarlisle8906 Yeah, I am faster than Usain bolt too. When I drive a car. Where's my gold medal.
Yes because she's shorter and has smaller hands so it makes sense to have a smaller ball. It doesn't make it less impressive
@@reneewilliams5777 it's not about being impressive. It is impressive. But it's not NBA.
Kobe is looking down and smiling at Sabrina right now
Looking down from where

Her mentor is proud of her and so am i.
