Easy Sweet Appams

- This video shows how to make traditional South Indian sweet dish, namely Appam. This is an easy version of making the sweet. The appams are very soft and tasty and can be stored for a couple of days and enjoyed.
Wheat flour 1 cup
Rice flour 1/4 cup
Jaggery 1 cup
Ripe banana 1
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Oil for frying
Made it exactly like you said and it turned out yummy and perfect 👌🏽 .

A healthy sweet dish sure to try.
Welcome to u mam.In Kerala instead jaggery we add karuppetty which will enhance its taste abundantly.We can add jinger powder also for getting a sweet aroma. Some people add cumin powder, nicely roasted shallots n we call it Neyyappam.If u want to get authentic taste please use ghee for frying.

Yes you can make in appam maker too. Mashed banana adds to the texture and taste

Ma'am, I tried making the appam but I noticed that they were sticking to the bottom of the Appakaral. I couldn't flip them and it all just became a squishy mess. Where could I have gone wrong?
Please add more oil to the pan. Then it will not stick
