I love your videos and they save me a lot of time researching about. I went on a trip to Iceland last month and the rasam Powder was basically a life saver in the cold windy days. I could make a hearty warmy bowl of soup with just boiled water from Thermal geysers. PS: I switched tomatoes with tomato paste and the stuff lasted me a whole month basically.
@@hebbars.kitchen mam could u lemme know if we are travelling abroad for 6 months can we keep r store d mix for 6 months ??? R does it have time frame ??
@@divyapriyadarshiniit can last for 6 month but for that u will need to completely dehydrate everything. I mean the coriander leaves or ginger or garlic are absolutely not completely dehydrated so you either just add them later on while cooking or you can dehydrate them completely in small batches on gas or sundry them first so it will get easy to dehydrate (ppl in Western countries use dehydrater but I think that will be costly and doesn't have much use) . We dry cauliflower or fish for later use so we can do it for this too. Dry roasted daal is basically what you buy as sattu (only difference is sattu is usually made of black chana) and sattu lasts even longer than 6 months
Just in time this video came across. We'll be traveling soon and our journey is 24 hours so i was looking for a green chutney recipe which won't go bad while traveling and here I have it. Going to make it soon hope it'll be tasty and good to use after 24 hours of making it.

@vardhini Child labour laws: Younger than fourteen can't work.(for all genders) But if male, can't work again once married. It is women who don't have any sense of self respect and pride that create toxic men who feel zero sense of embarrassment as they things like "wife is like mother only" in front of their colleagues. These women who would sooner find their children a burden than think like that of the lazy, arrogant man that they kowtow to. All these baghban aunties who consider themselves a wife first and foremost are so problematic. Not only they make life a pain for themselves but also by letting the male co-parent assume all the power without any responsibilities, they also help in fostering terrible environments for their children. Be yourself first. Then be a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend. If at the end of the day, you still have the energy for it, then last and the least of all, you can be a wife. Build an equal dynamic with your spouse the same way you used to have with your roommates. That will be healthier for you, for your children, your family, even for your husband. Yeah, you'll even be doing that guy a favour if you would just stop compromising every time. Doing so will not only make him realise that he can't just coast through life exploiting other people and make him a better person as a result, it will also make it difficult for him to escape from his fair share of childcare duties. If he becomes more involved with childcare, he'd have a healthier and closer relationship with the kids now and even when they are adults.
Child labour laws according to @vardhini: Younger than fourteen (all genders) cannot work. But if male, you must stop working again once you're married. 😂
I find it troubling how normalized it is even for women themselves, even relatively younger, educated ones, to endorse patriarchy and andro-centric culture. How does it make any sense that only the women should carry the bulk of household responsibilities, even when they’re also working full-time. Comments like this perpetuate the idea that men are somehow exempt from contributing at home. The truth is, clinging to these outdated and damaging roles doesn’t serve anyone. Women are overburdened, men remain unaccountable, and children grow up in environments where inequality is the norm. Mothers who willingly subjugate themselves to this inequality and fathers who have become conditioned since childhood to benefiting at the expense of women will also put their children through the ignominy and suffering of discrimination. They will discriminate between their son and daughter. They will make the girl feel like a second class citizen. I hope I don't have to tell anyone why that's bad for the girl.
So, I'll focus on why patriarchy and sexism is just as detrimental for your sons, since a lot of people don't seem to appreciate that. Raised by bigoted parents and a discriminatory culture, the son will slowly be taught to become desensitized to the pain of his mother and his sister, his own flesh and blood, and only care about himself. He will be coerced with stick as well as the carrot to kill his real self in order to become a "man", to sacrifice the well being of his own family to please the worthless, disgusting egos of long dead old men. Such a person, whose actual personality, his bonds, his free will, his independent thoughts, his empathy, sense of responsibility and, the ability to think rationally and question evil have been beaten, shamed and praised out of him, will only grow to become an unhealthy, jaded, impulsive, callous and anti-social (as colloquially understood, not the medical meaning) person distant from his support system, from the people who, by the very definition of their relationships, should have been the closest to him; his parents, siblings and children. He will continue the same poisonous cycle with his own kids.
Helpful and time saving. I shall certainly prepare. One suggestion - please use bigger mixing bowls- as a lot of powder is spilt while sieving/mixing and the table looks messy.
Very nice mam moongdal halwa Vera level these mixes are real blessings for bachelors and old people who r going to badri and mukthinath god bless u mam
@ranibharadwaj Demanding kids, I understand-but what on earth is a demanding husband? Did you marry a fully grown man or cradle-rob a male balika vadhu? If he is indeed a grown man, why are you worried about catering to his demands? Let him cook whatever he wants for himself. I thought women were supposed to be mothers to their children, not to their husbands.
