- On the mission Winter Contingency, using a trick to acquire a Falcon, you can use it to easily create a Friendly Elite. But we took it a bit further and created a mini army of Friendly Elites just for fun. Enjoy!

Hopefully 343 wake up and realise that Everyone loved the Elite designs in Halo Reach by far the Best Elites i have ever seen it makes you question why the Prophet of Truth would replace them with Brutes maybe he wanted Strength over Brains, maybe he started to realise the Elites were gonna find out about the great journey and realise it was all a Lie. the Prophet of truth tried to silence them before the news got out but the Arbiter found out anyway after the betrayal and also was pretty clear the Covenant would have wiped out Humanity with how many ships that had at the time including High Charity if the Prophet of Truth didn't betray the Elites. in my opinion i hate how the prophet of truth did all that killing humanity and starting wars all over a lie just to kill everyone with the Rings i would have rather have the prophet of truth try take over the galaxy or something not straight up kill everybody
@@blessedxxiii5583 nigga this was all discussed in halo 2. Imo the halo 3 elite minors are the best. So halo 3 elite minor. Halo 4-5 zealot. Reach ultra and spec ops
I don't like the Elites after Halo 3. They became chunkier and more cartoony. Halo 2 Elites are the best.

I found a friendly elite by accident trying to hijack the banshees on the last part of Tip of the Spear. Jorge kept harrassing him with his machine gun though :(

I know there is a glitch in Halo 3 ODST you can do to get a friendly engineer. (Before the last mission of course.) like if you time it right and kill the brutes that are setting up the explosives on a engineer then he'll just float there and won't explode if you get close or anything. You can even jump on top of him. Not sure the exact science to it but back in the day I'd show my friends I thought it was pretty cool.
there are 2 friendly engineers in the exploration map near a terminal for the hidden story, they are in a courtyard
All engineers are friendly, the brutes rigged them to explode
This glitch has been known about for years, even the part where the elites can chase you into the building and their ai glitches.

Funny story : Once I played Halo : Reach on Legendary with all skulls on and ran away when we were helping marines... Let me just be honest - pilot of Jun's Falcon had his pants full of poop and just jumped of the Falcon making it go down and flip over, causing Jun to get out. Not gonna lie, in this situation, Jun would be killing enemies and moving just like in "Nightfall" or "The Package".

Was trying this out for my LASO run, just to get the falcon and skip a portion of the game. Notice 2 things. You can shoot the dropship turret off from far away, the dropship will not remove its payload until you are in a certain range. The next thing, the falcon sometimes is invulnerable to emp. June will sometimes still be in it and he will remind you that he is a friendly.

Here's something I learned while messing with custom skulls on Firefight. If you set the AI's damage output to 0% in the Wave Traits, they do no damage what-so-ever. If you can manage to get some Suicide Grunts to trigger(The easiest way being Catch Skull+Elite Patrols+Legendary), they're grenades won't kill you or themselves, meaning you can get Friendly Grunts.
RIP. They patched a lot of shortcuts, glitches and speedrun tricks in Halo Reach during the August Update. You cannot even Plasma overcharge the Pelican in Winter Contingency anymore. You can overcharge a banshee but are unable to hijack or pilot it

Ok a new glitch: on winter contingency use the car your given then turn right to the damaged bridge, activate the distress signal turn back go left away from the bridge DO NOT GO FURTHER THAN THE BUILDING, activate the heat signature load before the distress signal but activate that after the signal then turn back again go past the distress call area and enter the road after the heat sig cutscene and the fight before the pelican picks you up will only spawn grunts and 2 elites either ultra or commander class

Have you checked out the white Elite on Sword Base just before you encounter the Hunters? He runs away towards the mission start area. I always thought that Elite was kind of weird.
