Elite Generals love to throw grenades and the brutes are total bullet sponges. Still an awesome battle nontheless

I may be wrong but aren't the elite general and brute cheiftains durability level basically the same strength

Not to mention the chieftains use very often the armor lock, it's like nice try fuck you try again kinda thing
The rounds went like this:
Plasma Repeater: 4-2 Brute win
Energy Sword vs Gravity Hammer: 6-0 Elite win
Fuel Rod: 3-3 tie
Plasma Rifle vs Spiker: 3-3 tie (only 5 rounds were played, but there was a tie in one match, so I gave a win to both sides). The Elites probably would have won this part with a 6th match due to their grenade throwing.
Concussion Rifle- 6-0 Elite win
Plasma Launcher: 5-1 Brute win.
So in total: The Elites won 21 matches and the Brutes 15. Getting swept in two rounds really hurt the Brutes.
Can’t believe I forgot to put the 10v10 Plasma Rifle v Spiker round. Nice summary though!

That fuel Rod round wasn't a very fair set up. The Brutes benefited heavily from being able to shoot downwards. This means that every missed shot from the Brutes will still do damage to the Elites.

Man, I'm really hoping Halo Infinite gives enemies almost a sense of self consciousness and revolutionizes AI like Prey did. No longer will AI just stand and take hits and die in battle easily! No longer will AI just programmably charge into battle without a plan! But, with this, we may see enemies try to outsmart us, overwhelm us, and show the player how they were able to conquer cities, countries, planets and entire civilizations!!!!

Also, can I just say: Anything with a Concussion Rifle or Fuel Rod is instantly the worst fucking enemy to fight against, on Heroic and Legendary.
Those things ruined so many Heroic Firefight Matches.
I thought that plasma caster shot x sticky grenade was pretty awesome, was going to put that round earlier in the video but the plasma launcher rounds went on forever...

They're fine on original Reach, on 343i's MCC version they doubled the fire rate for some reason

The Elites Got Mostly Rekt At the Beginning and Then The Brutes Got Rekt at Close Quarters and in The RPG part It was Balanced and In the SMG part The Brutes Got Rekt and In the Grenade Launcher the Brutes Gott Rekt and

There's a team in the game files named Brute that's hostile to the Covenant team on all missions for some reason. Was Bungie planning on showing some pre-Great Schism beefing in Reach?

Never knew the brutes were smart enough to use armor lock against incoming plasma grenades. Hmmmm
Brutes really aren't are dumb though it's just their hyper aggressive and warlike attitudes which makes them seem dumb but really they're not, I mean they were able to accomplish space travel by themselves before they nuked themselves back to the stone age and even still they managed to get pretty close to modern times before the covenant actually found them

Lol what? The Brutes literally got swept in the Energy Sword and the Concussion round. That is a whopping 12 lost rounds for them in just these two. The Elites ended up with 21 wins and the Brutes had 15 wins.
What is up with UA-cam comments being so obviously full of shit? All you had to do was watch the video and it would have showed how wrong your comment was. I can't imagine anyone seeing the Concussion and Energy sword round and assume, "The Brutes won every round."
@@cydra671 Not only is his comment completely wrong, but the Elites also won more rounds than the Brutes imho. The Elites won 21 to 15. The Brutes got swept in both the Energy sword and Concussion round.

Dang! The Chieftans were pretty good with the Plasma Repeater. Would’ve loved to have seen them use Plasma turrets and Needle Rifles
I tried Needle Rifles but the Brutes just constantly evade and never fire. I completely forgot about the Plasma Turrets.
Sod Would they have done the same with Needlers? Oh and Plasma Pistols would’ve e been interesting too
Hows about doing something that represents the splitting of the Covenant. Like Elite's grunts and Hunters vs. Brutes, Swarm and Jackals.

Hey i love your cool Halo 2 modding videos. I was trying to get into modding myself now with H2EK in Halo MCC and I know this might be a long shot to ask but hoping I might luck out as my search has been fruitless. Do you happen to have these old Halo 2 mods? Racetracks on Containment, Yellow Brick Road, Donkey Kong v2?

in the first round you can clearly see the chieftains are bullet sponges even without their energy shields, letting aside the fact they win on melee combat because they are stronger, Elites being weaker match up and overpower them with skill and sprint, face it

Attack speed and agility mattered a lot in the concussion and Energy sword round, which is why the Brutes got clean swept in both rounds.

Err no they arnt. Cheftians with fuel rod cannons are impossible in legendary
@@AndresGomez-ws3fx Its more that they’re more effective against the player. Faster recovery when dodging, harder to run from, can throw grenades as fast as players “might just be the ultras that can do this’, front melee is near instant, the small side step is effective where the brutes don’t have that ‘except for hammer brutes’ and all of their rolls will leave them vulnerable.
Melee combat against them isn’t too difficult so long as your melee breaks their shields but this only works because they do a roar that leaves them unable to fight back for a sec. I don’t think brutes have this function as ironic as that sounds.
Chieftains are stronger but easier to manage.

Why do people say brutes are easy on reach? Only normal ones are the cheftain are hard as fuck. Especially with fields rod
Oddly enough the elites roar a lot more than the brutes, and that gets them killed pretty often.
The elites melee only once and then they stop,( Because that´s usually enough to kill the player) But the brutes keep punching repeadatly.

Lol how, did you watch all of the battles? The elites won most of them, especially as the numbers piled up -- they used their superior agility and coordination to overpower the brutes' sheer physical strength and lack of taking damage.
