@@natovision1 is the baby real

DEAD!!
@@ramanjeet1111 it's real, that baby will grow up to be Cable.
The woman behind Cyclops is Madelyn. The woman at the door is Jean. In the comics, Madelyn is the one who gave birth to Cable. In this show, Madelyn is probably a sleeper agent meant to lure Cyclops away from the team
Given how the 90s series deviated a bit from the comics, Jean being who gives birth to Cable wouldn't be so odd, at least until this scene happened xD
However, in S2 of X-Men TAS (Time Fugitives), Jean scans Cable's mind and learns of Cable's History, with Cyclops/Madelyn, the Techno-Virus, and the future. She chose to hide it from Cyclops knowing that if he knew, it would change time more-so than having Bishop and Cable running around in it.
Wolverine: Dibs on this Jean!
Yup wolvies got dibs
Other Jean: Scott!
Wolvie: DAMMIT!

It would be a plot twist to everyone that the real Jean is actually cable’s mom in this continuity and the clone is the one that showed up at the door. Lol the drama!

She FAINTED!! That’s Jean!! Lmao
I mean the Jean at the end should be Jean right. She faints all the time like for real. 0:27
Also, Nathan Summers is Madelyne Pryor's son, not Jean's.
Definitely the real Jean. She fainted.
Contrary to what many casual fans think Jean Grey is not Cable’s mom. Madeline Pryor is. Chances are Madeline is the one who’s pregnant and the real Jean Grey is the one at the door.
That was my thought. I doubt they plan to change that up.
It doesnt matter who the mother they both Clone of each other so they share the same genetic make up.
Before this scene based on how the 90s series deviated a bit from the comics, I thought that Jean being Cable's mom wouldn't be so out of place.
@@uncannydcmarvelous5732 They could do that route. They after all, had everyone thinking it was Jean instead of knowing it's not Jean.
However, I think it'll go back to not being Jean.
The Jean at the door fainted. She's the real Jean.
"Jean" and her face at the end. I'm willing to believe that's utter shock. But for now, my head canon says that look means "Who let you out of the basement?"
well at least logan and scott don't need to fight over her. they can have their own jean.

It's been years since i seen a great cartoon cliffhanger. If people know about the comics that's Jean at the door. Madelyne is the one who gave birth to Nathan/Cable, not Jean. Another thing from the comics, Madelyne wanted Scott to leave the school so they could be a family. Madelyne was talking about leaving these two episodes. Jean would never leave the school or team. Plus, Sinister did kidnap Jean and Cyclops back in Season 2. Sinister could've gotten their DNA then. It's a matter of when Sinister planted Madelyne in place of Jean. I would say after the events of the Dark Phoenix Saga. How did Jean get back to the mansion and from who is also big questions? Two episodes in and this series is already kicking ass.

Either way Logan is getting Scott’s sloppy seconds. 😂
It's definitely Madeline Pryor who is posing as Jean, that's who Nathan Summers mother is.
And the real Jean is the one who came in at the end!
Not in this timeline. They changed cables origins
I wonder what Madeline Pryor really looks like
Since Maddie is Cable’s mother on the comics that must means that’s her with Scott and the one arriving is our Jean.
Or, they knew people would think that, reversed it and Maddie going Goblin Queen is going to want the life she thinks was meant to be hers, because her replacing Jean WAS Sinisters original plan.
If they are going this route, then that means either the real Jean escaped from Mr. Sinister or she came up from the sea in the cocoon the phoenix put her in at the bottom of the bay to heal from her radiation exposure. Remember in the comic book the real Jean was in a cocoon to heal, while the phoenix made a clone of her with all her memories and essence.
You know your history.
@@earlsmith7428 I love x-men comics!

Maybe the pregnant Jean was not Madelyne Prior, maybe she was the double that came out of the water after the shuttle fell in during the Phoenix Saga just like in the comics.
There’s a chance that Scott married Jean but during the 4 episode special of Good and Evil when the nasty boys threw her in the portal she may have been switched out. Pay close attention to the outfit she’s wearing at the door. It definitely looks like the wedding dress.
So, Logan can have the other then?

the jean who got birth to a child is a clone
@manbanasiak there are no theories . The one that gave birth to the baby was a clone of Jean because Jean wasn't even pregnant in the first place . Her name is Madelyne Pryor and soon things are going to take a darker turn .
Clone had the baby then some demon stuff should happen then when its all over and everyone leaves Ghost Rider and Dr Strange are stuck doing cleanup, but they probably won’t follow the comics so maybe demon shit won’t happen
The opposite, the Jean who just had the child is the clone.
Madelyne Pryor is Jean's clone.
I actually burst out laughing at this,

That's definitely Madelyn Pryor aka The Goblin Queen
Nah I think Madeline is the pregnant one. She is Cable’s mom in the comics.
@@Linklex7 it's been a long time since I last watched the show, then again that was 30 something years ago when it was on Fox Kids

No it will be different the one at the door will be the clone seeking X-men help and she will get close to Scott while real Jean gets close to Wolverine. But in end clone will sacrifice herself to save Jean and both of Scott & Jean will reconcile.
It will be interesting to discover the way they planned to develop the whole "Madelyne-clone-to-Goblin Queen" storyline. For those who read the comics, like me, we know the whole plot took years to fully unravel ending up in the Inferno maxi-event...how will they shorten the whole thing in such few episodes?
I feel like this shit has happened before. Holly fuck the X-Men can't never catch a break.
When and how has this happened before? There has never been an adaptation of the Inferno storyline in history. What are you talking about?
@@hcbabyssian8936
Maybe the X-Men will ask Spider-Man how he dealt with clone shenanigans?
If they are going by the comics, which most of it seems to be, the one that we seen in the last two episodes, we have been seeing Madeleine Pryor whilst the one at the door at the end of Episode two is the real Jean. It makes sense that the one see seen so far is Pryor seeing who Nathan becomes in the future..
I think the Jean that Scott married has to be the clone. It's more dramatic. There's only one person who could have done something like this...
Someone very Sinister.
Logan: "I call dibs on one of them!"
Morph: "Please, let him have one...My ass needs a break..."
Logan: "And if I don't get one, you better be swim suit edition Jean tonight...or else..."
I really hope that's Madelyne Pryor at the door. Cause if they follow the comics of ever since the shuttle crash, "The Phoenix Saga pt.2", it would mean that all since then was partially a lie. All true but with an imposter. We all know that Cable's birth mother is Madelyne, but still. After all, Cable in the og series came from the year 3999; so that would make him their descendant.
Me too
But remember that Cable was sent to the Future as a baby
Sorry, but if they follow the comics, that was Jean at the door.
Pryor would be the one behind Cycops
It could still be jean that was pregnant with baby nathan. Nathan gray is actually Jean and cyclops' son from an alternate timeline. It's cable without the techno organic viral infection. So it could still be jean with cyclops. That being said for added drama, it could turn out to be madeline prior who was pregnant.
The Real Jean Grey never give Birth any Scott Children like
Cable he is the son of Scott with Madelaine Prior Rachel Grey Summers she is Real Daughter of jean but she came from another universe from the multiverse and we also have Nate Grey artificial being creati by Sinester using the DNA of Scott and Jean and creati the most powefull Psychic in Marvel Universe.
When I was watching this scene I was like, “Huh, why there two Jean grey and whose baby is he holding right now?” I was shocked
The one in green ofc. She was the one that got pregnant, even not being Jean
My money is on Madeline Pryor, being the mother of Scott's son. This is just what sinister would do and did do in the comics. He couldn't get both of them so he decided to replace Jean with a clone. That would be a human incubator for the first generation of the breed of humans he desired to create at the expense of everything decent. And the fact that sinister's real name is Nathaniel, and "Jean" suggested Nathan as a first name is also a dead giveaway. It also explains that psychic flash in the first episode. however, I don't think they're going to go with the idea of the real Jean being at the bottom of the Hudson after the Phoenix possessed her. I think sinister abducted her after the death of Charles Xavier, and replaced her with Madeline. And since this is a complete copy of both her body and her mind, and using abilities, it was the perfect switch. He is just that evil, and twisted to do this.
If that's the case the question is how long have they been switched? At least 9 months given the baby right?
goblin queen story
OMG. we just witness a clone of Jean grey. What could cost possibly mean? Find out next time on X-Men 97!
Previously on X-men.
I think all of this will lead to the team spreading through the season, we saw Storm leaving, after this thing with Madelyne Prior, probably Scott and the real Jean will leave, Gambit will probably leave cause of the thing between Rogue and Magneto, Jubilee could also leave with Roberto after seeing the team is broken, Bishop will probably go for some time travel stuff, Morph could leave for his PTSD or something with Mr. Sinister, Wolverine always comes and goes. The thing is what will eventually bring the team back together, even if it's in the season finale or in the next season.
If there is anyone or everyone who has already known about the whole episodes' stories of the 'X-Men: The Animated Series' cartoon show very accurately, I hope that they can solve and/or answer this twist about the two Jeans with their own theories.
😮 Mr. Sinister is back! Confirmed.
I mean...we keep hearing his laughter in the intro + Morphs history with him...most likely we will see him
I love how Mr. Sinister raises his arms when firing his blasts... it looks so cool.

It's madeline prior
That is not Mystique. Mystique doesn't have telekinetic and telepathic abilities like Jean. I think it is Madeline Pryor.
One thing I hope they change from the comics is either make the woman at the door Madelyne or have a better reason for Scott to leave Maddy and go back to Jean. In the comics he leaves Maddy as soon as Jean returns which was always stupid as Scott wanted to move on with Maddy/was happy and she was happy and they loved each other and just lived a nice quiet life, but then once she’s made the rebound she is made out as the bad guy, which was really really contrived, so hopefully they take more care to handle this situation.
I prefer if the one at the door is Madelyne/evil one as based on the first two episodes as well as the episodes following the Beyond Good and Evil multi parter, preg Jean acts and even feels the way the real Jean feels. Her love for Scott is genuine, her friendship with Storm was genuine, and she fought alongside the others as an X-men for the remainder of the original series after the multi parter.
Making the pregnant Jean evil would be just as asinine with what happened with Maddy in the comics.

Possible spoilers, read at your own risk:
In the comics, Mr. Sinister creates a clone of Jean Grey, who goes by the name of Madelyn Prior, and becomes an antagonist in the Inferno storyline. The question is which one is the clone? If Madelyn's the one who had a kid with Scott, like in the comics, then shit's going to crazy real quick.
Well thing is in the comics, Pryor didn't misrepresent herself to Scott and the rest of the X-men as the real Jean, she just presented herself as Madelyn Pryor a different person who just happened to have an uncanny resemblance to Jean, which triggered the feels in Scott. Going to assume that the writers of the show thought that angle to be too complicated and predictable to present to the audience so they went with the impersonation angle instead.

I didn't know that, but TBH leaving sounds out of character for cyclops If that was in the original comic it sounds like it was a mistake to write it like that.
Even though Cyclops is my favorite hero, that is my biggest wish I'm hoping from this series. This can't be a repeat of the comics. That's an innocent baby boy you're holding that that did nothing wrong and needs his father. Even before I became a dad myself, I thought the inferno story was garbage. Scott lost his family at a young age and went through hell at an orphanage. Figured he'd go through hell and back to make sure his son doesn't lose his dad.
@@Paulies-Hideout I felt the same way. Everything went downhill for Scott after he left Maddie and his son. Inferno and the storyline before and after, didn't do justice to Mr. Summers. Maddie was a really deep character before she went "bad" and Jean at the time seemed so shallow.
@@earlsmith7428I did another quick read through that story. I didn't like Maddie either. She punched Scott (Physical Abuse alone should have been a deal breaker).
