So nice to see the weight, when you're new to felting this is such a helpful thing! Silly story, after felting a few months I wanted to try more fiber types, bamboo, viscose etc., well, I got to sparkly Angelina,so pretty, the price was nice so thought I would order a couple oz. of each of around 20 colors and well after that I've ended up with a lifetime supply of Angelina! 😂
Wow, in 20 colours! You could probably open your own shop! That is a lot of angel wings, yes, I didn't have a clue about weights in the beginning so this would have helped, thanks for watching x
I watched this again and I am buying scales because I need consistency with felting ......I have stopped as run out of carded wool still have brights but no white ,going to order mine from WOW next week ,at some point 🙂 Happy felting
Thank you for that very helpful video . I do have a habit of buying way too much wool. Please can i ask where you get your Blue faced Leicester white . 👐
So I am curious about the ones you said you need to wash. I bought some wool that has quite a bit of vegetable matter. Does washing it to move some of that or is carding it the only way to clean it?
If it doesn't smell then it's probably been washed already, I would card a bit more or just hand pick out. Lots of carded wool contains some veg matter after its been processed so hard to eliminate all. Tops are normally completely clean though because they are processed more x
Thank you for sharing. Can I ask you...wich needle do you use to get a smooth finish? I have search for a list, to have at the crafttable easy to look at.
Getting the visual on amounts is super helpful when beginning. Really interesting comparison to weigh finished items too! Thanks Pippa :) x
Thanks so much Belle xx
Very, very helpful for ordering online when you can't feel what you want to buy or see the wool next to an object that shows it's scale. Thank you!
Thanks, it was something I struggled with in the beginning x
You’re so good to do this for your fans! Great info here.
I appreciate that!
Thank you . Have a good day and stay safe.💜
You too, thank you xx
Such a helpful video. I struggled so much when I started out with wool amounts! Your videos are my favorite 🙂
Me too, never knew how much to order and whether the wool I was buying was a good price too, thanks for watching xx
This was helpful and interesting for me as a novice bc i don't have a scale. Thx!
Always hard to judge weights, glad you liked it x

Yes, definitely plenty of wool! Thanks so much x
This is so helpful, I rarely ever weigh a finished item so I had no idea how much wool I was using. Also super excited or your new PDF’s!
Thanks so much Shamma, it's interesting to see how much things weigh when done x
Thank you for sharing. Great info.
