@AhmedYT because that was last season we're playing in this year's season. Any player can perform in one season and fall off the next. What's been incredible from Ronaldo and Messi is that they performed constantly season after season but time catches up to you. Time has caught up to Ronaldo and the one club willing to throw him a bone he's throwing under the bus
He asked a valid question. What has the kids in front this season done to indicate that they want it more than Ronaldo. I am talking about Rashford now.
Carragher loving every second of it. Fair play he was spot on. The fact he would have considered city tells you everything you need to know. His agent also touted him to barca, which would have gone down equally well with his "dream club" and their adoring fanbase. He is and always was a mercenary, the problem now is that he isn't good enough to hold anybody to ransom.

It baffles me, since anyone who has followed his career know this about him. If he's available play him or don't even have him in the squad or club. At every other club he's always left when his playing time was up. But instead of accepting that United and to be fair ETH as well try to make him a squad option. The mistake United made wasn't brringing Ronaldo in, it was not qualifying for the Champions League. Ronaldo did his bit and if the rest of the team was even close to his level last season they would have qualified with ease.
That is another angle of it, those rats of colleagues as Ronaldo put it are busy conniving to fight a power that can crush them and till the 7 generations after them instead of seeking ways to learn and improve. This “Ronaldo scored 24 goals last season so he’s not a problem” is such a weak point. United finished 3rd and 2nd the two previous seasons, Martial + Rash + Mason outscored liverpools title winning front 3. But when Ronaldo joined, he hogged all the goals and the other attackers goal rate dropped and so did Brunos (martial was key to winning pens for Bruno too, which Ronaldos not going to win). He wins but the team loses. Same thing at Juve, now happening with us. Perez got rid of him at the perfect time.

CR7's personality, dedication are very well known and proven that he didn't betrayed any of his clubs except some exceptions. So whenever he spoke up in public means something has been really going wrong. No one should be bigger than the club and I don't think CR7 thinks like that. He is highly emotional, dedicated, hard working which made him CR7 today. So if anyone just screaming for club, legacy, money, position rather than finding out existing problems and potential solutions; they are surely doing one thing for club- and that is dragging down the club to the hell.
Lets give Jamie Carragher some credit. Because he was the first one to say this would happen and everyone said he is just a Liverpool hater. And then the Cristiano fanboys loved it when Cristiano Ronaldo snubbed him. And then when Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney, who were teammates of Cristiano's from 2003-09 said the same thing, they both snubbed, one by a handshake and the other got insulted of his appearance. Thats why he did the interview with Piers Morgan. Because thats his buddy and he will bow down to whatever Cristiano tells him without any challenge or anything.. All this proves that Cristiano has such a big ego that he cant even handle constructive criticism, even if those are fair.

Noone is blame free in this, saying Ronaldo is a hero is a bit of a stretch. The facilities, science were the same last season while he got playing time and got paid a fat salary. He said he wanted to leave the moment the salary and his continued claim at superstardom was threatened, fair enough. This has nothing to do with his love for the club, it's about HIM! The Club, the Glazers and some of the players have just provided fodder for Ronaldo to use to burn it all down IMO. I like that he's laundered some of the dirty laundry in public though, I just do not like that he's threatened the progress of the team because of his own wants.

It's not really an emotional rollercoaster for me. I am old enough to have seen CR7 under Fergie and remember his talent and development, and a lot of [most?] United fans will always admire him what he achieved for the club. What is happening now is different, it's sad to see, but in a short time the pain will be over. For us at least.
It's taking every bone in my body to not rip into Carra and focus on the real story. Ronny has only ever cared about himself. This has always been the case. It's what makes him petulant, but equally drives him to be a GOAT. Whether some of the things he said were true, the second he threw our manager under the bus, he burnt his bridge. If you go against the gaffer, you're going against the club and the fans. As for his legacy, if the likes of Schmeichel, Keane, Rooney and many others who've had controversial times at the club, are still deemed club legends, so should he. Yes it's sad how it's ending, but it doesn't delete the history he created prior. Goodbye and Good luck. Hopefully Boehly still wants him. Enjoy Chelsea fans 😉

Totally agree Rio, you have to have a dialogue with player of that stature. CR7 is a special kind of player, He scored for club more than any of the players in the club and it is forgotten with in heart beat. This is not right. I don't know why Jamie cannot see that. Ronald made more money for the club more than they are paying him. Actually there are clubs will to enter that kind of business the shirts alone are enough to cater for his salary. We have to accept that CR7 is not your usual kind of player. The club was trying to use him, so on this I totally agree with CR7. I don't see how he would do it better. Ten Hag making him captain is the way of how they were trying to use him. You don't make me captain for just one game or even two and think it is okay. Address the issue at hand. We finished 2nd without him, and even of you say that was down to Liverpool having a shocker, it was still alot better than after Ronaldo.
Ronaldo showed last season that if the team played to his strengths he could still perform...some classic moments such as the last minute comeback winner against Atalanta that reinvigorated a sense of Man U's history and Fergie time. All I can hope for although unlikely is that piers actually questions what he saying. Don’t just let Ronaldo speak and actually ask him these questions such as the respect thing when ETH has shown him respect. I would love to see Ronaldo answer to them.
Ps. No one is a bigger Ronny fan then I and he claims to be a professional but cmon this ain’t it chief
Dude didnt get a proper chance man.
@@glitchinthematrix9306 missed about 5 of them against Omonia
@@glitchinthematrix9306 Garnacho got what 3 games 15-20 min a piece and took his chance. Ronny got full 90s.
Martial didn’t take his chance ? He’s had a goal or assist every game he’s played so far lol
Yes, he made him captain, followed up with him naming 4 other players he would prefer as captain. What's the point in saying that?
subbing him in with 2 min remaining? when you are winning.
Yes, he hasn't been playing his best. What do you expect? He looks rusty from the little he has played ....and he made it clear he wanted out in August. ETH said he was part of the team but barely plays him. It's hard to play well for a team or manager that treats you so poorly.
Carragher is bang on, keeping it simple saying it how it is. Words I never thought I would speak as a Utd fan.
He's genuinely the best pundit going. The most clear-headed and unbiased
It must be an emotional rollercoaster for United fans
What R non--United fans even doing here?
@@jagathwal9444 curious about Cristiano
@@jagathwal9444 I'm just having fun reading the comments. United fans fighting Cristiano fans lmao.
I agree with everything you're saying but Ronaldo did not do himself any favours. Any and if any club ever considered wanting him they'll look at that petulance and say "Thank God he's not my problem".
If Ronaldo continues this form in world cup then no top club is going for him. He has to go to MLS or Saudi
@@nolo_the2nd Juve wanted him, even though things went bad with him and Perez. United wanted him even though things went bad between Ronaldo and Juve. Why wont a club want him now things have gone bad again??
I bet Carragher is so relieved you didn't 'rip into him' 🤣
Let us know when you take your CR7 underpants off
The banter is class with these. Rio is a loyal respectable character love the guy
Loyal to whom?
To the club that gave him everything he dreamed as a kid or to this friend?
To whom?

Both he's done nothing wrong.
If your mum and dad had a dispute you gonna just back one and never speak to the other? Or you gonna be thier for both of them still? He's not involved in this and this isn't the same club that "gave him everything" as you put it. This guy give us the best years of his life and deserves everything he has and has always been a stand up guy and role model.
Ronaldo is clearly going through some stuff and non of us in these comment sections could polish either of thems boots
I've not seen this Ronaldo interview but I'm gathering that he told truth and facts about the club. Why the uproar because he's spoke out, he's spoke the truth. Good on him. We all know united have been a shambles since fergie left.
He's spoken his version of the truth, not the truth. We'll probably never know what that is
I’m 8 minutes in and Carra has Rio on toast 😅
Jamie is always on point and honest man what a guy!
I love when Ste mentions the younger kids never seeing what we saw of Ronaldo I agree with and I'm seeing it on social media where the kids with profile pics of rappers and footballers especially being United fans are slagging him off, A Legend of the Club let alone the game is disgusting & I'm not even a United fan I'm a Chelsea fan 27 years old I've watched this man since him came to the Prem I can never disrespect what he's done for his Family or Legacy as a Man or a player idc players like him with his mentality are so rare.
Ronaldo's mentality to be the best, has gone to his head. His ego believes he is greater than any player, any manager and any club. He believes he can walk in to any team, he can't (not even the club that made him will play him)... The irony is his attitude is putting a big black mark on his career and legacy.. He will never have as much class as Messi, R9, and other greats.. He is never gonna come out of this interview smelling of roses.. I think it's the cherry on top of the big ego disaster that Christiano is
For example i experienced it and after this i couldn’t care less About lil Cris
@@robharwood-stamper9857 he has been United's best player since he has been back, he has become your scapegoat regardless of the greatness he gave you.. Bet he wishes he came to LFC when he had the chance... YNWA
@@DnB93 I'm not a utd supporter. He's made himself a scapegoat by walking off before the end of a match, by not passing to team mates in better positions, by complaining constantly about his team and management, by being obviously pissed off at being a sub and being subbed off... His professional attitude (lack of) is as disgusting as his ego. If he gave his team, his team mates and his managers as much credit as he gives himself, this would never happen. But he shows no respect, humility or gratitude. Live by the sword, die by the sword.
It's the opposite, it's mostly kids and foreign fans speaking in broken English defending him
Totally agree Rio, you have to have a dialogue with player of that stature.
He demands for the respect because he deserves it. The top scorer for the club. He deserves the respect.
It's depressing that as a United fan it is an ex-Liverpool player who talks more honestly and unbiasedly about our club than all the ex-United players.
There is two sides of the story. That's basically what Rio os trying to point out. He ain't "defending" him.
I get what Rio is saying about the communication bit. If you decide to keep why say he is in your plans and not play him. No ambitious top player wants to waste months on a bench
Tbh don't think utd wanted to keep him. No one else wanted him (or wanted him enough to pay his massive wages)
@@King-Julz so the club and ETH said they wanted to keep him so who is lying
No club did want him
I still do think, eth wanted him in the team (before the interview happened) but the way he wanted CR in his plan maybe not as first eleven for all games but as a rotation player.
When you say "in your plan" It does NOT only mean as a starter, it means also as a squad player.
RIO, " I am sorry you have never been in a dressing room with a player of this stature" who does this to Jamie 😳😳😳😳

As a United fan, I did always agree with Carra about when they signed him. It was a reactive, emotional signing and was always going to end bad due to his age and ego 🙆🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
Mr T because of his ego and his age he saved utd ass last season , atleast playing Europa league.
@@omkardalvi8499 no he didn't. We started the season with 2 wins and a draw, we smashed 5 past Leeds and Pogba had like 6 assists in those 3 games with Bruno getting a hat trick.
The entire team was worse trying to play to Ronaldos strengths. Ronaldo personally had a good season, but at the expense of every other forward having to change their games.
We finished 2nd without him, and even of you say that was down to Liverpool having a shocker, it was still alot better than after Ronaldo.

Someone needs to pin this!!!
Ronaldo showed last season that if the team played to his strengths he could still perform...some classic moments such as the last minute comeback winner against Atalanta that reinvigorated a sense of Man U's history and Fergie time. But management decided to pursue a particular fashionable playing style, high press, possession football etc..rather than recruiting and forming the team around his strengths. So, no wonder he's unhappy.
Forming a team around a 37 year old man? Delusional!!!...
Recruiting players and forming a team around Ronaldo?
Absolutely not!
I am a Man Utd fan and I respect what ETH did in dealing egos and tantrums of Ronaldo.
We are now winning matches without Ronaldo and have better team chemistry.
