When I was younger man, my cousin called me in tears, and I truly thought he was on the verge of suicide. I rushed to his house, which was just a camper by the lake. I found him sitting in the corner listening to Staind, I removed an ear bud, put it in my ear, and we spent the next few hours singing along. It was one of the most heartbreaking experiences of my life, but it started a bond of brotherhood that has lasted our entire lives.

I was suffering severe depression in my tooth due to many trauma I’d suffered and Layne Staley was sinner song writer that saved me and today I’m blessed father of two kids that I spend everyday be their father that they deserve not a junkie running from responsibilities l. When I reach about 18 I went to see family value tour in Portland with my girl friend and ever since have felt like Aaron Lewis is this generations true gift grin the cosmos, Buddha, Jesus higher power etc. whichever you store faith in I believe this man gift has changed my world and that’s how real change starts one person at a time. The man IS and always has been a GOD..
His acoustics have probably saved many a life..
Some are bitching about the Country stuff.. Hey, its his world that he lives in, if he wants to be a cowboy for a bit, then that's what he does.. if YOU can do better, than you don't need his music, talent and ability to reach inside.. BUT until then, Aaron Lewis is a GOD and we will follow him and support his music as his music supports all of us.
    Rock on AARON..

In California we used to have a place called The Strand in Redondo Beach and it was respectful saw David Crosby there and oddly met him by chance with Jane great moment memory of mine just sad I'll never be at another concert of any kind again

Will be seeing Aaron in a few weeks. February 10th, 2022 in our small town of Corinth,MS. Excited as I am, and much as I love his music and such a big Fan, I know if he sings some of these songs playing his acoustic, I'll cry right there in front of everyone. Considering how my life has been the past few years, Aaron and his music has helped in many different ways. Never met him but I feel like I owe him for things he doesn't even know he has done....
Aaron, if I ever get the chance to shake your hand, don't think anything of it if this grown ass man, a complete stranger cries like a baby... If I'm not able to speak at that time, I need to say "THANK YOU" for everything!! You Sir, your music, is nothing short of Phenomenal... Simply Amazingly Perfection... Keep on keeping on Brother!

Been a Staind/Aaron Lewis fan since the beginning and all of his songs especially on their debut album seemed to come at a time in my life when I needed to hear that I was not alone in my struggles, addictions, relationship problems, etc.. His music seemed to sync perfectly with the timeline of my life and I'm forever a fan. He's great with Staind in concert but to really FEEL his soul and emotions you gotta see him solo in a small intimate setting in a tiny venue

Most definitely a seasoned musician. Respect. My ex introduced me to Staind. My first tarnished thought was.... " here we go another screaming , yelling far to large band "....... I hadn't completed that thought when... " hold on a minute "....... " that lead singer has a control that comes from only one place, soul" can't fake a soul. This man was given a gift of articulation through music. I don't care who you are , when Mr. Lewis is in his musical zone and you are in ear shot, which could be a couple miles away with the strength of such vocals , you will listen.
I'm 52 with a diagnosis of Parkinson 8 + years ago. Music has been my best friend through my entirety. I began playing guitar only 12 years ago and sang since teenage years. My point is when I heard " turn the page" in passing one day I said " dam that sounds like Stained without the questions" Mr. Lewiss command of the music changed me. I began playing his music. Playing along , with practice alot of practice, trying to match each vocal note , paying notice to his cadences. He can carry you through a song with the build up , to give you a sense of what is to come later on in the song. The anticipated larger than life note or notes hits you like a Mac truck. To try and recreate that impact I try to image a boxer in a fight but this boxer knows he is going to win and ends the fight with a flurry of combinations leaving us wanting and wondering.. . I hope I get to see this gentleman preform before my passing but my understanding is , he doesnt come to the smaller Canadian cities. Winnipeg Manitoba has many a time surprised people in regards to their love of quality musicians. Many return bi yearly now. Mr Lewis, you would not be disappointed with the appreciation, I am more than sure, would be shown. I for one would be front and center, if time dictates. I would go south to see you but alas , I can't , I had an alcohol problem that led me to having difficulties going to your country. I hear that painfully sorrowful hum of control loss, in a number of your songs. Well I feel like I have written to much , I have a tendency for that. I will leave it there with an incredibly humbled Thank you for giving us a glimpse of what I assume is most genuinely...you.
    Thank you Aaron.
    That's from my soul.

Aaron is my fav artist. Loved him in staind, love him solo, hes an american patriot, gun lovin' God fearin' conservative.... And hes on of the few people that sound just as good live as they do on albums... Go look at greenday live and you will know what im talking about.. They suck hard nads live.

I have to agree with this poster. I have been listening to Staind(Aaron Lewis) since I was a teenager and even till this day I still think he's and the band are amazing. I am now in my late 20's, almost early 30's and I still think they are amazing. I can listen to Aaron Lewis for hours and never get tired of it, being live or not.
You have to remember the age groups that Nicky and Justin are playing to. That's why they are getting the numbers in the audience.

I have searched thru the hundreds of videos of Aaron Lewis acoustic videos here on UA-cam. Just love the way you recorded it in black and white, it gives it an even more intimate feeling to it. Plus, THANK YOU LONDON! For not being a bunch of rowdy screaming idiots like most of the other of the videos. Instead the audience sits back, shows respect and just simply enjoys the performance!! Thank You!!

Well I can say that as someone who listens and lives the music it is greatly appreciated . Not sure if you will ever see this message . I read most all the comments and wanted to encourage the people that put this arrangement here for everyone to enjoy just the same . Just as the music has saved some helped others and given hope and just a break from everyday stress . And has changed lives in a positive light. just as the artist has shared his music for all to have and for tpcv to record these moments in time for all to be able to experience . Thank you for having a powerful influence on so many . Keep them coming . And I will subscribe . Maybe one day I just may find one of my performances amongst your videos someday . Again thank you

The one glaring thing at this concert that's completely opposite of what occurs at his concerts here in the States: people actually RESPECT the artist, as well as their fellow concert goers, and STFU while the man is singing....thank you to all who were in attendance at this particular concert, that shit is MUCH appreciated....

I heard this cover on the radio I believe shortly after Dolores's death. I wasn't sure if I'd like it because I loved the original, until the chorus. I was blown away. Bad Wolves did an amazing job with their music and voice. I come back to this cover from time to time and never tire of listening to this.

I love watching his live performances. He is laid back but entertaining, and he doesn't have to be fake to do it.
I really have to see him at least once in concert alone, as Aaron Lewis. I saw Staind years ago, and it was amazing, but it was also cliche to most rock concerts I've been to, and not so personal. Aaron himself makes you feel like you are involved, and like he truly enjoys what he is doing.
    💚💚💚💚 him.

Being clean for 8 years now i still remember how this music affected me when i wanted to get sober but just wasnt strong enough at the time. Aaron lewis you are an amazing person and i am excited that my 14 yr old son listens to your music and will hopefully someday show his kids. when i showed my daughter the song Zoey Jane she criedbecause I have made alot o0f poor decisions in my life that took me away from her and she is happy that i finally am there for her and her brothers. U sir are an inspiration. thank you
