Love this video! I cut my teeth on this camera and had it for a year before I really started understanding its full capacity. I now shoot with the Gh6 and S5II and use the GH5 as Camera 3. Glad to see 2 of my favorite Lumix channels together!
I had the GH3 and skipped the GH4 because I didn't want to use 4k without IBIS. I got the GH5 together with the 12mm/1.4. I had 2 stops more in low light and a much better sensor and IBIS. This allowed me to take the images and videos in the cities at night I always wanted to get. and of course: shutter angle 🥰
I used the GH5 for everything from 2017 until the end of 2021, only reason I got the S5 was that I was shooting more photos these days also, even so I look back on some Leica 42.5 1.2 images I shot on the GH5 & they still stack up!!
The first cut is the deepest...so I still love my GH2 😂 But my GH4, GH5s, and GH6 also. But none of them has the combination of compactness with image quality the GH2 has. I dream of a GH2 size MFT with 4k 50p. That one on a small gimbal doesn't even need IBIS with a 14 or 17 mm prime lens. For any other tripod stuff, the GH6 is the best. Until the GH7 with PDA next year?
I love my GH5 and can’t think of any reasons why I won’t continue using it until it breaks. But then I’d probably buy another one. I see a lot of GAS in this market and just ignore it all.
Had ZVE10 and sold it as the footage was shaky when handheld. Frustrated and search for good stability camera. Found your channel and Emily about a camera system that i never heard before, The MFT. I just closed my eyes and bought GH5ii. I tested it with PL12-60mm and it was so stable, no wobble, plus it can be so stable like sitting on a tripod mode. My god, i was so happy and satisfied. Never thought such camera exist in this world. But it does. It was unforgettable memory for me. Thank you to both of you. It has its cons. Lowlight and bokeh. For lowlight i bought the sigma lenses. For bokeh i bought 7Artisans 35mm f0.95. With that Chinese manual lens i have learned something, auto focus is overrated. I don’t do vlog as i am ugly. I am no longer fear to use manual lens for my job. Super easy for my work.😂😂😂 owh i hate to use gimbal.
I don’t know much about video but I learned how to use a black magic. I knew I needed a back up that was better than my iPhone . so I did the best research I could and landed with a GH5. I didn’t know anything about Lumix a year and a half later I continue to hear great things about my choice. I now have four more Lumix cameras.
I'm a GH4 shooter, recently upgraded to a GH6. It's my first camera and it's simple but relatively advanced features allowed me grow really fast into shooting pro work. A friend who loved what I did with smartphone videography gave it to me and allowed me pay up when I could. The GH4 pretty much shot all my pro client work until now. The things I loved about it: - Light and super handy - Shoots good 4k footage. - Shoots FHD at 96fps - Super rugged (I packed it with everything, dropped it, poured water on it, used it in the scorching sun without overheating). - A battery lasts a whole day shoot (sad that the GH6 hardly lasts more than 1 hour). - With good glass, the images are so good! I'd perhaps get another GH4 if this one breaks. Or perhaps a GH5.
I didn't feel like using GH5s back in 2018 cause I was so much into the canon. But when I first started to do color grading. I came across the V-log footage from Gh5s and I was so much into it. I jump between Sony cameras and canon and just this year I was able to get one Gh5s for me. It's awesome. I just love it.🕺🕺🕺
I had a g85 then for a silly reason (autofocus) I sold it to buy a zv-1...😅 terrible choice. I just couldn't forget the amazing colors and smoothness, the feeling when you hold the g85 in your hands and the cheap lenses so I decided to sell my zv-1 to get the g85 back. Just then a friend of mine asked me if I was interested in buying a gh5...for half of the price of a used one, with the original box, the kit lens, a cage and some other small gadgets. Obviously, I had to...😃 best choice, I love it. I am a big Lumix fan since I laid my hands on the g85 first...
Hated this video due to the bleeping out - just announce it once the video starts. Didn't watch for long enough to find out which camera you were talking about
This was such a fun chat! 📷😁
I own the G85, GH5 and now the GH6, I love the many different shooting resolution options and the fact that both GH5 and GH6 can shoot true 24fps.
yes! cinema mode letz go
