As someone who is obsessed with organizing, I would like to deeply thank you for the great job you did in the description "bar". I mean the video was also fantastic, but the list gave me shivers. ;) xox
The covers of the Wells books are so gorgeous! The shock of the fall and manifesto of how to be interesting sound so interesting. And more books should colour their pages, it just looks amazing!
I'm really curious to read The Manifesto on How to be Interesting. This edition is amazing and the story seems interesting :) I love your videos! xxx from Brazil
Middlesex is one of my top three favourite books. It is beautiful and tragic in so many different ways. I read it over the course of a month because I wanted to savour the language. I fell in love with the imagery.
How to be a Woman is an AMAZING book. There are a lot of great lines in the book. It is very funny, interesting, and an easy read. I am super super jealous that you got to meet and interview Caitlin Moran.
I've always heard so many wonderful things about Caitlin Moran's works. Seeing your enthusiasm has really made me even more interested in checking her stuff out! I wish you all the best!
Middlesex is soooooo good. I had to read it for one of my uni modules and now I'm hooked on Eugenides, absolutely love his writing. Can't wait to hear your take on it, enjoy!
I just got done reading The Shock Of The Fall and oh my word it is amazing. It made me tear up so many times. Would love to hear what you think! That Monsters book also looks really cool. I may have to hunt down a copy at some point
I think you videos are invading my brain because on a whim I bought The Shock of the Fall and A Girl is a Half-formed Thing (as well as We Are Completely Beside Ourselves, longlisted for Booker Prize) and only realised later I'd seen them in this video! Excited to read them all!
I would love it if you made a video about how to read more! It looks like you go through so many books, I can barely get through one a month. I'd love to incorporate it more in my everyday.
For a minute I thought you were going to say "Nathan Fillion" and I almost died. This will teach me to finish people's thoughts in my own head prematurely. Looking forward to checking some of these out!
The island of doctor Moreau is soooo good. I wrote my bachelor assignment in English on that so I think I have read it about 20 times and I never get tired of it. It's amazing and so weird.
I've read The Shock of the Fall and I'm super excited because Nathan Filer is a lecturer at the uni I'm going too! I loved the book, it's so amazing and interesting :)
I sooo enjoyed The Invisible Man! Love the way it's written. And I actually picked up The Island of Dr. Moreau a few months back but hadn't gotten around to reading it. .actually forgot I had it lol. Think I will start that one soon though :)
Can you please do more reviews, love hearing your take on books. I would love if you could review the Handmaids Tale, I got it because of one of your hauls and ended up loving it.
I try to review almost every book I read (unless I didn't find it that interesting and don't have a lot to say about it). I'll post a review of Rooftoppers this week :)
The Interestings is the best book I read all year! I'm about a year out of university and it spoke a lot to my fears about shifting friendships as you navigate into adulthood. It made me think a lot about the dreams and relationships we have as 20-somethings and whether they'll change as we age. But also trigger warning for anyone thinking about reading it -- it deals with sexual assault as a major plot point.
This is giving me a new book craving. It's been a long few months of "House of Leaves" and now "Infinite Jest." I'm loving it, but it's different for me.
Recently purchased Love by Victoria Hilslop. It's full of short stories about love written by women through the years. Such a beautiful cover and stories.
I have read only one of those books (Animal Farm) but have heard a lot about some of the others. Now I want to read the Shock Before the Fall! Seems really interesting. ALSO, Happy Esther Day!! I love your videos!
Between the Acts is seriously amazing. It's her last novel, and one of Woolf's lesser-known, not-as-appreciated novels, but it's one of my favorites. It can be a bit hard to get used to. I would say it's one of her more experimental novels, but not necessarily in ways you would expect. I hope you like it!
Nice haul! The Interestings was probably my favorite novel I read last year. It's a big messy glorious epic. I absolutely loved Middlesex when I was in high school but I haven't revisited it since so I'm not sure what I'd think now. Very interested to hear what you think of them both.
I want to read both of Caitlin Moran's books and I can't wait to see your interview with her! The Shock of the Fall sounds very interesting too. Also, I too became curious about the Island of Dr. Moreau when I saw it on Orphan Black! Do let us know what you think once you've read it :)
I have just read Middlesex and really liked it, although I wish there would have been more focus on the protagonists own story. I have done this weird thing where I have read Jeffrey Eugenides's novels from most recent to earliest and am now up to your favourite the Virgin Sucides and am so excited to read it! Because I read The Marriage Plot first and really didn't like it, I have you to thank for getting me back on the Eugenides's train! :)
I definitely can't get through all the books (I used to have about 5 books in every haul, but the last months have been crazy!), but I have a lifetime left to read them :)
I got sent all the short listed books for the Baileys prize and 'A Girl is a Half formed Thing' was definetly my least favourite. I think the idea is interesting and the style of writing is different but compared to the other books shortlisted, it definetly wasn't as enjoyable. I'd recommend from the short list: Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Burial Rites by Hannah Kent, and The Undertaking by Audrey Magee. I think Burial Rites and Americanah in particular really struck a chord with me there is a definite political message and say so much about society.
Always love your book hauls! I bought How to be a Woman last week and I cant wait to read it, would love to see you review it too! And you will LOVE Middlesex, I've reviewed it over on my channel! Such an amazing book😊 X
The mysterious books from the bookshelf tour! But didn't you forget to mention The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir [...]? ;) The Manifesto on How to be Interesting seems intriguing (as any book about blogging and the Internet, to be honest), will definitely check that out! I'm buying Penguin English Library books one at a time to make sure I actually read them, and The Island of Doctor Moreau has been sitting on my shelf for quite a while now...
i've just read "the shock of the fall" and really really loved it. i think it's a shame they changed the cover because the one with the tree and gold lettering is much prettier, i think :)
How do you read all those books? Holy Crap! I really like all of the book haul videos because makes me want to read a lot of stuffs. I end up never reading any of them, but anyway... Holy crap! So many books. :D
I have wanted to read the shock of the fall for so long now!, I am immidiatly going to buy it when I am at home, but I don't know any dutch book stores who sell a copy! :(
I finally got around to reading The Virgin Suicides this holiday! Is the movie adaptation any good? Also, how do you feel about autobiographies? I thought I wouldn't like them but I've read Bossypants by Tina Fey and Is Everyone Hanging out Without Me? by Mindy Kaling and I absolutely loved those.
all of your UK editions are gooorgeous. *cries forever*
I just don't understand why there aren't more books with coloured edges... So gorgeous!
As someone who is obsessed with organizing, I would like to deeply thank you for the great job you did in the description "bar". I mean the video was also fantastic, but the list gave me shivers. ;) xox
Middlesex is my ALL TIME favorite book!! You will absolutely love it!
You make me want to read all the books in the world. I wish I had your bookshelf!
The covers of the Wells books are so gorgeous! The shock of the fall and manifesto of how to be interesting sound so interesting. And more books should colour their pages, it just looks amazing!
Thank you sooooooo much for putting the Goodreads links in the description box! Makes it so much easier to add them to my "want to read" list.
Molly
I love your hauls, you always manage to find the prettiest cover versions of books
Orphan Black is the best thing to happen to television!! :D
I'm really curious to read The Manifesto on How to be Interesting. This edition is amazing and the story seems interesting :)
I love your videos!

I love that edition of Animal Farm, ive got the same one! SO NICE
Shock of the Fall is soooo good. The narrative of it all was so clever and jumbled like the mind and it was just really interesting!
You always buy books with the most beautiful covers. I love it! :)
Every time I see your bookshelves, I do't feel so guilty about the huge pile of unread books I have :P
Glad to be of service :)
Middlesex is one of my top three favourite books. It is beautiful and tragic in so many different ways. I read it over the course of a month because I wanted to savour the language. I fell in love with the imagery.
I love your book hauls!! they are like a treasure trove of the most beautiful books :) !!!
I always discover news books to read or am reminded of others I need to buy whenever I watch one of your videos, thank you so much Sanne! :)
I'm going to be in London for all of January and I am so excited to go to every single one of the bookshops you talk about!
Love the shock of the fall! Incredible story, so well written. I think you'll enjoy it :)
A Girl is a Half-Formed Thing is absolutely wonderfully heart breaking!
I love all of those cover editions! so pretty!
Great book haul. I like that you appreciate the nice covers. I tend to look for the best edition of a book.
Monsters is such a fun book! I love that edition of Animal Farm too :) you always have such gorgeous books
Oh my god! Subscribed! I am obsessed with your book hauls!

I would love it if you made a video about how to read more! It looks like you go through so many books, I can barely get through one a month. I'd love to incorporate it more in my everyday.
I'm not sure if it's the type of books you read or the way you summarize them but you make me want to read every single one.
Love your channel. I'm gonna buy 2-3 of these after watching your video! Thanks!
Amazing haul! You may have to do a whole new bookshelf tour.
Don't even get me started.
I recently read The Virgin Suicides and loved it, so I also picked up a copy of Middlesex! Very excited to jump into more Eugenides.
For a minute I thought you were going to say "Nathan Fillion" and I almost died. This will teach me to finish people's thoughts in my own head prematurely. Looking forward to checking some of these out!
Middlesex has been my first family saga (I think). It is just so amazing
Fantastic Haul as always! So many beautiful books!
The island of doctor Moreau is soooo good. I wrote my bachelor assignment in English on that so I think I have read it about 20 times and I never get tired of it. It's amazing and so weird.
Good to hear!
Sanne, you own the most BEAUTIFUL books! :D
I've read The Shock of the Fall and I'm super excited because Nathan Filer is a lecturer at the uni I'm going too! I loved the book, it's so amazing and interesting :)
I think Middlesex might be my favourite-ever book! I preferred it to The Virgin Suicides. I hope you love it! x
I get super excited with your recommendations!
I love that edition of Animal Farm! I really want to read A Girl is a Half-Formed Thing!
I sooo enjoyed The Invisible Man! Love the way it's written. And I actually picked up The Island of Dr. Moreau a few months back but hadn't gotten around to reading it. .actually forgot I had it lol. Think I will start that one soon though :)

middlesex is one of my favorite books! I hope you love is as much as I did!
This is giving me a new book craving. It's been a long few months of "House of Leaves" and now "Infinite Jest." I'm loving it, but it's different for me.

How To Be A Woman is great, really funny and made me think about a few things I just took for granted! :)
I love your book hauls! I always wish I could hear your opinion on all of the books you show after you read them :)
I'm so excited to read the manifesto on how to be interesting
Have bought at least 5 books you've recommended and loved them ALL.
Yay! (Now I'm curious which ones they were.)
Never read any of those! I'll definitely have to check em out! :)
Middlesex is SO GOOD! I hope you enjoy it too :)
Between the Acts is seriously amazing. It's her last novel, and one of Woolf's lesser-known, not-as-appreciated novels, but it's one of my favorites. It can be a bit hard to get used to. Ohh that sounds good!
The Interestings is SOOOO GOOD.
Just read The Invisible Man for an online course on Fantasy and Sci-Fi. It was absolutely one of the best books I've ever read.
Nice haul! The Interestings was probably my favorite novel I read last year. It's a big messy glorious epic. I absolutely loved Middlesex when I was in high school but I haven't revisited it since so I'm not sure what I'd think now. Very interested to hear what you think of them both.
Happy Esther's Day Sanne!
I really want to read middlesex! I loved the virgin suicides like you did and I'm actually going to buy it soon (finally)
ooh I am going to have to get that Monsters book :D would be perfect for when I need to look up info for a project
I read The Interestings last month. It's a pretty great book and a fast read despite its size.
I want to read both of Caitlin Moran's books and I can't wait to see your interview with her! The Shock of the Fall sounds very interesting too. Also, I too became curious about the Island of Dr. Moreau when I saw it on Orphan Black! Do let us know what you think once you've read it :)
Oh man, I listened to The Invisible Man, and it was SO GOOD. It completely captured me, you'll love it. :]
I have just read Middlesex and really liked it, although I wish there would have been more focus on the protagonists own story. I have done this weird thing where I have read Jeffrey Eugenides's novels from most recent to earliest and am now up to your favourite the Virgin Sucides and am so excited to read it! I've read Soulmates by Holly Bourne and it's one of my favorite books! Hope you enjoy it.
I always wonder if you read 24/7, otherwise I can't imagine how you manage the huge amount of books you own ;-)
I definitely can't get through all the books (I used to have about 5 books in every haul, but the last months have been crazy!), but I have a lifetime left to read them :)
Loved this video. There are quite a few of these I need to check out now I've heard you talk about them :)

I'm buying Penguin English Library books one at a time to make sure I actually read them, and The Island of Doctor Moreau has been sitting on my shelf for quite a while now...
That was an unsolicited copy and my haul was already so full that I decided not to include it :)
I've read The Shock of the Fall and Animal Farm. Wasn't too keen on The Shock of the Fall but the writing style was interesting. I liked Animal Farm.
The Monsters book look quite interesting.
I couldn't get into Soulmates at all, maybe you will be able to get to grips with it but it's one of the only books I stopped reading halfway through!
The Animal Farm is a book I plan on reading soon :)
I'm currently reading the century trilogy by ken follett
i've just read "the shock of the fall" and really really loved it.
i think it's a shame they changed the cover because the one with the tree and gold lettering is much prettier, i think :)
I really enjoyed The Madman's Daughter! Really want to get The Island of Dr Moreau to see how it compares! I look forward to hearing your thoughts :)
I'm feeling a little bit 'meh' about The Madman's Daughter, but curious to see where it will go.
Ooo well I hope you like it, I think The Island of Dr M Moreau shall be my next book buy!
Yaaaasss Animal farm!!!
Middlesex is a wonderful book
Animal Farm is amazing!
How do you read all those books? Holy Crap!
I really like all of the book haul videos because makes me want to read a lot of stuffs. I end up never reading any of them, but anyway...

Soulmates has a bit of an interesting ending, looking forward to what you think of it. :)
