  • WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF ANXIETY? WE'VE ALL BEEN FEARFUL AT TIMES, SOME MORE SO THAN OTHERS, BUT RARELY DO WE SEE FEAR AS SOMETHING THAT IS PROTECTIVE. BUT BELIEVE IT OR NOT FEAR IS THERE TO PROTECT YOU. IF YOU HAD NO FEAR YOU SIMPLY WOULD NOT CONTINUE TO SURVIVE.
    THERE IS COMPELLING EVIDENCE NOW THAT MINDFULNESS CAN IMPROVE YOUR ABILITY TO MANAGE YOUR ANXIETY, AND TODAY WE ARE GOING TO CONTINUE THIS CONVERSATION WITH MY GUEST, DR. LIZABETH ROEMER.

    this is the only way to get rid of anxiety is accepting and befriending it. anxiety is our gut trying to tell us something. if we don't listen to it it will have to shout in the form of anxiety. once we fully feel and understand y we r anxious can we start to rid ourselves of it.
