Yep I do this in the live show as well, didn't want to get too in depth with it... but now this makes me want to show how I link my DJM900 as a MIDI controller to the lighting. Thanks!
FYI there are certain DMX software that allows you to map a midi controller and trigger scenes with it. I have seen videos here on youtube of guys triggering scenes with mini keyboards and other devices. Maybe that's something you could do during your shows.
Super old video, I know. But was just curious. What is the current day solution for doing something like LED trix pixel mapping? Can I do it on a modern Console like MA or Chamsys, or is it done in separate software now? Thanks
What are good programs to run shows from a Macbook Pro? Or for just messing around and designing shows that can be run and the look can be seen on the computer and not necessarily output to an actual stage?
