I dramatically reduced a jerky throttle on my Vulcan s by changing the front sprocket from 15 to 16 tooth. This reduced the jerky throttle reduced the engine revs by about 500 rpm for a given road speed and improved the riding experience the bike now rides as it should have from the factory.

This is great. I have been a bit frustrated by the strong engine braking while downshifting. If you don't time the rev-matching perfectly it jerks the bike. I think I'll get one of these devices.

I just ordered mine. I found a 2017 hold over that was just never sold and snatched it up for a steal. I’ve been riding it for a year now and just tossed on the delkevic bullnose 16in and finally got the booster plug in the mail. Friday that’s what I’m doing.

wow that's cool. I love when the dealers run sale on those left over inventory, right time to jump in. I am wondering when would Kawasaki update the vulcan S line up to have some minor updates (my wishlist, round headlight, mid footpeg, bobber fender ). Booster plug install is easy, removing tank and running the wire through could take 15-20 minutes or more.. have fun!

Never had heard of this boosterplug, but I'll definitely get one as well. The Vulcan S is my first bike and it is easy to notice the jerkiness as soon as you let go of the throttle. I just took my booster plug off, it made the bike run a little richer down in low revs, but made it run leaner in higher revs... with the booster plug in the bike was running at 58 horse power, without it the bike ran at 61 horse power. Bye Bye booster plug.

There was another video on youtube where they dynod the vulcan with and without the plug, and it made the same figures as u mentioned.
      Essentially better without the plug

2 whole horsepower? DAAAANG that's marvelous! Nothing like running an engine lean and increasing combustion temps for premature wear just for a 3% horsepower gain 😂
