Endless Engines Challenge by

Here's my breakdown and submission for Endless Engines Challenge by ‪@pwnisher‬
I missed the start, but decided to participate anyway. I didn't want to create something too crazy. My goal was to create some nice movie-like animation that feels natural.🙄
Car modelled, textured and rigged from scratch and I'm planning to use it in my upcoming animations. Some props are form Sketchfab.
It was a lot of fun! Too bad the animation is only 5 seconds long.🙃

Thanks! 🙌There is no one recipe for color correction. It's different every time and depends on light setup. I recommend to watch some davinci resolve tutorials. It's a really powerful program🔥

this is def top 100 , that little nudge of the front end going down during that downshift ( chefs kiss ) is such a nice detail. The clip screams professional work from the first frame itself.

I was going to enter this one, but got to busy making an engine IRL in the workshop! looks like you had a lot of fun on this one, c4d has a car rig now, but i'm finding it easier to do in it unreal..(so much more fun actually driving it in real time!) as apposed to key framing love the concept on this one! These 3d challenges have really been cool. love your take on it dude! very cool

One of the best ive seen. Your post game is on point. The low fi grade is really nice. Little splash of chromatic ab here and there..nice. Adding your own crit is a really important aspect. Stepping back and pushing it, detail is everything. Nice.

just search for blender tire smoke tutorial, it's pretty standard, 2 emitters inside back wheels and I also decreased density in smoke material so it looks more transparent

The post processing is super interesting! How did you do the chromatic abberation in the bokeh with the police cars! (The turquoise and pink)

Chromatic aberration made right in blender using compositor (distortion node). And I think colors became turquoise and pink after color corrections I did (I didn't pay ant attention to them 🙃 I just look at the whole picture when doing post-processing)
