Andy Serkis is so impossibly adorable. Too bad he won't be in the other two films. Except behind the camera, of course.
I really enjoyed this interview. The questions asked were truly interesting and proved that Hamilton understood the depth of series. You could see how the actors were genuinely surprised, and answered with passion. Great work!

I love how Hamilton in these interviews doesn't ever ask a standard question but really thinks about every actor and their character and works out the most interesting questions to ask. Very well done Sir.

The interviewer is very intelligent & honest & funny a good combination.
Always so nice to see these actors in interviews about these movies, even all this time later. They've been a big part of my life. Whenever I've gone through a hardship, these are my "go to" diversions. So much amazing talent went into making these movies that it's truly astonishing. There was real artisanship involved in every aspect. I would've loved to have a job behind the scenes, just making things.

I remember going to the cinema with my uncle to see Fellowship of the Ring, i remember i hadn't read any of the books back then and i kept annoying my uncle with questions during the movie, but from that day began my everlasting love for LOTR.
Interviewer: (in a loud voice) So if I did my nerdy research correctly, Thorin translates as darer?
RA: Where was that etymology from?
Interviewer: ...i found it online.
RA: Ok, but any particular nation that would've done it?
Interviewer: ...not sure...
RA: Ok, cause the Nordic translation of Thorin comes from Thor meaning thunder. In the English folklore it means..blahblahblah.
Mr. Armitage:
Mr. Armitage: Ok..but any particular nation that would've done it?
Interviewer:...i'm not sure...
Interviewer: "How's this going?", "Yeah I don't like you either" says Martin with the straightest face ever.
I love everything and everyone associated to Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit. And I like this Jake Hamilton guy, so I'm glad the two worlds met.

Martin Freeman is too underrated, he is such a great actor who deserves more awards and honors.

Richard Armitage is soooooooooo diferent of Thorin (physically) but very seemed (in personality) at the same time; Andy serkis (when you see the Gollum's face you think that he is ugly in the real life) is very nice =), Sir Ian McKellen, he is the best!!! X3, and Martin Freeman have the same hobbit ears in the real life =O!!! and very seemed to Bilbo (in the personality) too =9

Finally!! An interviewer that is not a complete moron.. I feel like too many of 'The Hobbit' interviews had stupid people asking the actors stupid questions... this is very refreshing and the actors are sooo amazing!!
Ian McKellen has been to my school...Just though I'd say. He gave a speech to my whole school it was amazing. We have his speech quoted on our walls somewhere. He is da bomb.

He does a wonderful job as an interviewer. Comfortable, funny, obviously makes his guests think, but also feel comfortable too, and he rolls with the punches when he gets interesting answers to the questions. And he does his homework. Great interviews!
