Good times! We used to make one truck out of three or four donors at the lot where I worked. It's big fun once you get fast. We swapped complete truck and SUV interiors, swapped cabs while keeping the original wiring harness that matched the chassis, and built ourselves a few too. (My originally 4.2 2WD Silverado is "upgraded" with a 5.3 4x4 chassis and running gear.) We used our Century wheel lift as a beastly hydraulic puller because they're so powerful and have a long stroke. Wrecker chains and J-hooks work a treat for controlling the casualty.
Love the way you guys cleaned up the work area, I sometimes forget that you guys are a FULL service body shop and you guys are also doing insurance work for customers....😂😂It’s SUCH a bonus watching you guys work on your own projects together as a family..👍👍And Yuri THAT was TOP NOTCH on that seam weld, I believe that it’s even STRONGER than it was originally???? Sorry to hear about Buck🐶🐶😢😢🙏🙏Keep the content coming!!!👍👍👍
hell 1 can buy or get a used frame for about 4k$ do a switch -a-roo!! save time on a truck its just all assembly. but builders want to be cheap and compromise the safety of the vehicle .what really does the vehicle in is the srs (airbags)system thats what totals the vehicle.
gotta to love the build got the right guys, and the behind the seen help is great also thanks for taking us on the journey never question your body shop they earn there money not easy work trucks coming together sweet build.
I don't understand why you guys don't use carbide drill bits to drill the spot welds. It will drill like butter through the welds. You can get them at Grainger.
The Dream-Team did it again !!! Nice piece off work Boys, looking already oke to me but I am no expert whatsoever......It is nice to see that you Guys can fix almost every damage and make it work again, wait for the next episode off this car to be back on the road again !
my opinion Dream-Team mt ass! this is why insurance co's total cars they dont want safety issues lability issues. know your salvage repair man before you buy salvage titles. salvage titles worthless unless you drive it till the wheels fall off it. try trading a salvage title at any car seller dealer broker. they will send you packing .i guess i am picky straight titles only they are out there you just have to pay more $$! i did salvage titles for 25 yrs hard movers.no warranty with salvage . hell you can only get a bank to loan you 70% of the vehicle value worse yet insurance co's wont insure salvage titles. i am just starting to find this shit out.
Super équipe et surtout super travail les amis résultat au top comme d’habitude merci pour cette vidéo bon week-end à toute l’équipe et à bientôt 👍💪👍💪🙏👌
I love watching your videos guys their is zero messing about and it's all buisuness when their is stuff to be done. Keep up the good work and love the no nonsense approach. I mean you are not spending half the video trying to sell me a t shirt or a nut sack trimmer.
@@jimgriffeegriffee5536 I've been running a body shop for 27 years. Do you know what I call it when a guy takes a torch to the frame rack? His last day working here.

Great family with great work ethics. As I just said over on Ben's channel it takes balls to admit you messed up and start again, you boys aren't scared of messing up to make unique stuff, rock on.
great work ethics is not to heat frame rails up .replace them. safety is#1 in my book. lability is another issue also. glad i am exiting the business cant stand to see improper repairs .why another accident can happen at any time and i dont think people want there motor sitting in there lap from heating frame rail ends. thats the 1st major impact point.then you have the crush zones which disperse energy from a accident dont mess with them they are there for a reason.. hell all i have is a uni-bench that works perfect takes up no room at all.and you still can get same result as a rack.
salvage title i would bet you any thing. the rule in michigan is if 70%of the vehicle vale exceeds the repair its a total and late modal with in the last 5 years gets salvage title by law. but it depends on the insurer and who is assigning the titles.if a insurer thinks they can make more off there loss they may spare you and give a good straight title.salvage sucks got to get a reinspection by a leo for stolen parts and to make sure the vehicle is road worthy. big painin the ass. straight titles you dont have no leo's to worry about.

Sometimes i wonder if all this extreme heat on the metal parts weaken them, like if i keeps the strength in a future collision
Don’t worry...... I’m sure that they followed all the correct Ford repair procedures on all the high strength steel parts🤣🤣
@@mattw4662 Yeah like heating boron steel white hot and making it soft as lead when it cools. Top notch work Lol.
the extreme heat makes the metal weaker! proven fact. see what your tensile strength is after heating then see what it is if you use no heat?
