    If you want a unique peaceful approach to spy, you can literally 'spy on em' by relaying info about what the enemy team is doing, it may give an advanced notice of a well prepared push being set up, possibly helping weak classes prepare to escape

    My favorite "Spy has a gun" moment has to be a time when I was playing as Medic and charging towards a de-cloaked Spy who I had cornered in a building with my Ubersaw out. The Spy proceeded to moonwalk into the corner and shot me until I was dead before giving me a freeze-frame taught, laughing.
    My lesson was that Medic has a crossbow, but my weakness is that whenever I see Spy, I see free uber-charge.

    So I play with my husband, and the advice he gave me for the disguise was to not overthink it and remember to put your back to the enemy because turning your back on "your own" teammates goes unnoticed because you're supposed to trust them. He said what tends gives spies away to good players is that they won't turn their back on them, which is suspicious. I probably didn't explain that very well, but it seemed worth mentioning.

    Aside from learning on how to playing a spy, I just realized I keep coming back to Spy Psychology just to rewatch the animations and editing Jonto has created. It gives off the visual entertainment that improved my learning experience and make me laugh occasionally as I rewatch them… for this video: it’s the Disguise Kit part when the noob Spy says that “disguises don’t fool good players” and then Jonto’s spy gives off a “Oh really?” smile and that hand gesture… That expression Jonto gave himself made me laugh. (Who else is here for the animation?)

    Something I'd like to add! To best fool people with your disguise, play as the other classes. Playing as the other classes for awhile, ya learn their movement styles, i.e Demo will usually be strafing back an forth near the back/middle of a group during combat if they're using their GL and Soldiers tend to jump around....ALOT....it gives them a good angle on their rockets when firing at someones feet. An pay attention to who gets spy checked often, like a Pyro with their flamethrower out is almost 100% to get spy checked an that precent goes WAY down if you have your disguise equip a secondary or melee wep. Stuff like that.
    Also, helps to have a round missing from your revolver if your trying to infiltrate. When you reload your revolver, the disguise also reloads. an best part? You can change your disguises weapon by pulling out the slotted wep/item an hitting a button (I have mine set to C key, but you can change it to anything).
    Hope this helps! (PS. I am NOT a spy main, but this is stuff I picked up from playing for years)

    Awesome. I'd also like to mention, I feel like stabbing people and taking down buildings is secondary to Spy's ability to cause chaos and distract the enemy. If I had to describe the process of playing him, it's popping in and out of existance for any opprotunity. As for disguises, the way I'd describe using them is like having a sort of "mental protection." This isn't protection like resistence and overheal, it's more like just one less reason for the enemy to istantly shoot you. If you obviously run directly at them or they're already spy checking, that protection is non-existent beyond sentries. Fear no though, you don't always have to fool every enemy you come across. Sometimes you just need to fool one of them.
    By the way, love those SFM bits you included.

    Good video, I saw the inspiration from a few different TF2 creators and it covered all the basics of the spy's toolkit and playstyle, one thing though that I noticed was it has just a little too many sound effects in some parts (mainly in the UI sections, the clicking sounds and etc) and toning that down would increase the quality, just a suggestion.

    By mixing all of these abilities you could move super fast, even becoming like an Assassin and thief, all this fast kills, sabotage, steal could be very exciting. I don't how it would be to work in a team, it feels like an independent class but in a team could be super cool, especially when the other side has something like an Engineer.

    from my experience as spy ....
    Spy work when your team is doing so much pressure to the enemy team like pushing, making noise forcing choke points, they are too busy looking in front of them than behind them that they are sitting ducks....
    On the other hand.....
    Spy sucks when you are doing the pressure to the enemy team(mean your team cant push and stuck) because they will hunt you and spy check everything.... One time i saw a engineer literally building a tp then do a 180 to a corner then killed a spy (I am the spy... I using a cloak and dagger
    As a spy rely on your team as the distraction cloaking, disguising is not enough and they will caught on,"SPY IS TEAM RELIAT CLASS, HE'S A SUPPORT SO DONT EXPECT TOO MUCH"
    So yeah just shared my thoughts 😅

    7:51 you can also I believe take an engineer tele if you are disguised as a slow or important class (such as medic or soldier) to further improve your acting, instead of walking to the nest. But if walking is your only option, be careful.

    Sometimes it’s depending on your RNG. For example, your cloak is almost run out and the nearest ammo box is in the room with tight ways. If you aren’t lucky you could get bumped into people and you will die. To avoid this just……. go back to your local resupply cabinet or just use the cloak and dagger to negate this .Try hide in the plain sight (using CaD) and try not the make any sound (except when both team are fighting near you) and don’t get into crossfire.
    Basically avoid the tight way
    Like jonto say in the video that you can get frustrate.
    people randomly hit the spot your hiding and then your mind are going like “the entire team will focus on spy first even though there 3 heavies in front of them”
    That is just suck

    3:41 Heavy is not someone I want suspicious of me;
    ESPECIALLY a Heavy that knows that calling out that there is a Spy is a good way to let that very same Spy know that others are aware of Their existence;
