The 10th doctor talked about a new man sauntering away... with his actor. Who is finally Ginger! This role really lets David Tennant show his range. Playing someone who's centuries old, not of this world, lives in an ancient supernatural vehicle, saves the world by wandering around talking to people and performing the occasional extremely minor miracle, who is absolutely lost without his companion...
What I'm getting from this is that Crowley was a big deal as an Angel and way more powerful than people thought. I mean, he basically got delegated to create... creation. That's Big Time Angelling.
I finished the season hours ago and I am still just. wow. Just wow. Emotionally drained and yet I am still feeling too much at the same time. Michael & David are BRILLIANT and this story is just immaculate.
First I was really confused about the reusing of the actors because I knew I knew them but didn't realise where from for a second 😅 Also I had the theme song stuck in my head basically the whole day, while and after binging the whole season. 😆
Glad you're watching this so quickly! It's brilliant and there's so many exciting moments I'm looking forward to seeing your reaction to! Both David and Michael are always amazing in these roles, but I feel like they were possibly (hard to say, they're always so good) even better this season.
A Demonic fun fact: Crowley asks Beelzebub "New face?" because it is a new actress playing the character. (And for some reason Crowley's license plate is "CURTAIN" backwards. Maybe a clue to something?)
It's a little reference 'As a nod to Terry Gilliam, who once tried to do a movie version of Good Omens, Gaiman and Mackinnon threw in a little reference to Gilliam’s origins doing animation for Monty Python. “The license plate of Crowley’s Bentley is ‘Curtain’ backwards,” Gaiman said, because of the writing on the mausoleum in the suicidal leaves section of Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life. “Curtain backwards, like it’s the final curtain,” Mackinnon explained.'
I appreciate your reactions a lot! you really take the time to pay attention and think about what you've watched, which I feel like is super rare in reaction youtubers. also, you always seem to actually understand characters/plots/etc, which is so great and (again) surprisingly rare
this season is unbelievably good. the first season was pretty good to me, but i felt like they were still trying to understand the world themselves. but i think they really found their feet in season 2. the world building & relationship development is so noticeable & good. & they really decided to lean into what the story is actually about. lots of fan service! i binged it all in about two days. it’s absolutely a beautiful show. you’re gonna LOOOVE it!
this season was such beautiful work from everyone involved, from the writing to the acting, everyone brought their A game and I absolutely loved it, can't wait to see you react to this, I've been watching you since you first started Doctor Who! I hope you like it as much as I did ❤
Thanks for reacting to this so quickly! I've watched a bunch of your reaction series over the years, and I really appreciate how observant you are. And since you mentioned anxiety, I hope it's ok to say - whether you always feel it or not, your on-screen confidence seems to have grown a lot over the years, and I just wanted to say well done. You present these videos in a very engaging way and your insights pretty much always make me consider things I didn't before or get me to be a bit more empathetic towards characters when I'm feeling judgy and grumpy about their life decisions (*cough* Winchesters *cough*). Thank you for that. :) Hope you enjoy this series!
Watches your reaction, hears a comment from you, thinks damn your good.... having binged watched every episode on a quiet Sunday earlier before watching this.
The women in the cafe was in Dr who series 2 with David, Fear Her! That was a Dr who reference with Beelzebub Winston Churchill says to Matt Smith is that a new face he says this old thing had it for ages
Nina & Maggie both played Sisters in series 1. Idk if the second part is an intentional DW reference, but there are a lot of other references scattered around.
@@caitlin329 It seems like there's at least one Dr Who reference in every episode I found while watching the show this morning, Amazon's X-Ray system points some of them out.
sorry to ask but I was wondering if you've watched or reacted to Staged ? it has David Tennant and Michael sheen with appearances from their families it is very funny :)
Angels are not supposed to have free will. That is one of the big differences between mortals and angels Angels are supposed to believe without question that God is infallible in all things
A & C are great characters but when the the storytelling doesn’t do the heavy lifting they can’t carry a series. Also Pterry Pratchett’s style is sorely missing from this series. The second season shouldn’t have been made.
There was a sequel than wasn't published (I think because it was when Pratchett got Alzheimer), so S2 was a new story to connect that sequel. That means S3 will have S1 style. And now Gaiman will add the storyline of Aziracrow trying to fix their problems.
Correction, Crowley never fell... he sauntered vaguely downwards.

"I'm very good at forgiveness, it's one of my favorite things" keep that quote in mind 😭😭😭
Oh… owch! 😢💔
STOP 😭
Gabriel - the surprise new favorite character. The celestial himbo we didn't know we needed 😂
not my favorite anything. I don't like him
Gabriel? Who is that? Don't you mean Jim?

This season emotionally healed me and then wrecked me, i cannot WAIT to see your reactions to this season!
how did you not die of laughter with the apology dance 😭
Watched this with my dad, and he was giggling so hard at that scene, and whenever there’s a scene with Gabe 😂
For a while basically all we knew from filming was that Jon Hamm was walking around naked.
You can imagine everyone trying to speculate 😅
I'm obsessed how much these two are an old married couple going through some rough patch

What a great point--that Aziraphale is helping Gabriel because of what he has learned from being friends with Crowley.

I needed a reaction so bad and I'm so glad it was you. I can't wait to see the rest of your reactions to this season.
Have you seen Staged? If you like these two together you will LOVE that show.
I'm in this episode. Red hair and beard. Walking by the bookshop. Right after the matchbox
Every day, it's-a getting closer.
I'm so happy you're reacting to season 2! I hope you enjoy it!
Jon Hamm owns this second series, that is all.
I went in blind for this and binged all six episodes in one go. Loved it. Tops season 1 in my opinion.
I find that most people prefer season 1 to 2 , but I get it , it has its own charm
This season was amazing and now I feel crazy
I just love the way you say, “Yeah, right” like it’s one word lol
Yes!! Just finished and was ready to wait for your reaction but it’s already UP ❤
This season is a rollercoaster of emotions 😭😭😭 its really good
Hope to see more of your reaction!
i’m so excited for your reaction to this amazing season!!
Love your little analysis in the end! Absolutely agree, Crowley is a great influence on his angel
Ohhh Sir Terry, how I wish you were still around
I've been trying to watch season 2 again, but I don't have amazon anymore, and this is the closest I have! Thank you :)
