I dont think Ive ever seen such a professional and lovely interviewer. He doesnt make stupid jokes or or offensive remarks to get a "reaction". He does his research and he respects both the craft , the artists and the fans. Watch and learn HOLLYWOOD!
Michael and David usually interview so well just off their own chemistry so I thought to myself hmm this should be great, as usual! but man, what CAN'T Ali Plumb do? made Adam Driver laugh that one time AND gave this a wonderful, well-interviewing duo an even better session than their usual. give this man a raise AND give every celebrity an Ali Plumb interview. he's just so good.

Terry Pratchett is one of my favorite authors. It is so difficult to get a movie/series to be visually as accurate as the readers imagine in their heads. These guys did a fabulous job with the characters and I’m so excited to see season 2.

But still... it's nowhere close to Ali's interviews from 4-6 years ago. He's a well prepared, geek, fanboy journalist, and he knows Good Omens was done by two notable British writers Pratchett and Gaiman, and the TV version was developed for years, while Good Omens 2 is an ordered-by-greedy-management sequel, rushed in probably by ghost writers (worst case it's based on a previously rejected generic storyboard of some unknown writer, and now shaped to use the known characters).. and his smile is not hoset.

It absolutely is not just a cash-grab by Amazon management - though I'm sure they're delighted with the show'a success and fandom - and if you know anything about Neil, you know that he has both the confidence and clout to tell the management to jog on if there's not a story to tell.

I read ‘good omens’ when it was first released & thought it was one of the best novels ever. Years later when it was announced that a series based on the book was in production I couldn’t see how it could do the book justice, but Tennant & Sheen did it brilliantly.
It doesn´t feel like watching an interview. It feels like watching a huge fan talking to his favorite actors about his favorite show. But in a calm and collected way. Nice! ^^
Awesome series. Their chemistry together is amazing. The one thing I wish they would have kept in is the narrator's hilarious comments from time to time like in the first season.
Ali is hands down my absolute favourite interviewer. He always makes these interviews fun, very personal (not in the sense of going into personal lives but asking questions suited to the people he interviews) and doesn’t just ask about the same things as everybody else. They have a very chill and friendly vibe. He also is very quick on his feet with callbacks and jokes (like coming back to the jetpack when David joked that Michael doesn’t walk anywhere anymore).

Don't feel bad. I *know* about the accent, so it doesn't catch me off guard -- but worse, it never seems to "synch up" for me. Like he's an English actor doing a character, because that's just how my ill-educated 'Murican brain processes it.

I'm looking forward to season 3. Not gonna lie, I kinda just threw this show on because I couldn't find anything to watch, but ended up binging it all night and watching it all. Pleasant surprise.
I remember finding out these two were going to play the lead roles in the first series and more or less thinking that there was no way it wasn't going to be amazing (which it was). Having these two playing Aziraphale and Crowley has to make it actually enjoyable for Neil Gaiman to write the screenplay. I wonder how much of the script was 'This is the situation and it needs to get to here, you two work out how to do that.' I literally can't imagine anyone else playing either role at this point. I'm glad to hear they enjoy playing them. It's pretty obvious they are friends off screen as well.
Fantastic interview!! I have watched Good Omens Season 1 and 2 on repeat, I absolutely LOVE this show and hope it does run to Season 666! I don't care how they do it, the writing is brilliant, Michael and David are a sensationally dynamic duo, on the screen and off. Love them both to bits! :-)

I love seeing these two together and Good omens is one of my favorite series. I was surprised to hear Michael Sheen mention Blake's 7 though. It's another of my very favorite TV series and you hardly ever hear it mentioned.

This show is AWESOME!! I loved both seasons, love their way throught the history! Loved the beggining in space! Wonderful! We are expecting the third and many other seasons. Also, Tennant is one of my favorite actors since Doctor Who, he is perfect!
Their irl personalities being the opposite of their characters is what made them even more perfect for their characters, I think! Crowley is "at heart, just a little bit of a good person" and Aziraphale is "deep down, just enough of a bastard to be worth knowing". Plus Michael originally auditioned for the role of Crowley
We get to witness them inventing a fun signature together! Awwwwww, this is too cute! I'd watch a vid of Michael turning his M into wings. As an artist I'd really dig watching him test out different variations of the sig til he feels he nailed it. ❤

I remember finding out these two were going to play the lead roles in the first series and more or less thinking that there was no way it wasn't going to be amazing (which it was). Having these two playing Aziraphale and Crowley has to make it actually enjoyable for Neil Gaiman to write the screenplay. I wonder how much of the script was 'This is the situation and it needs to get to here, you two work out how to do that.' I literally can't imagine anyone else playing either role at this point. I'm glad to hear they enjoy playing them. It's pretty obvious they are friends off screen as well.

Fantastic interview!! I have watched Good Omens Season 1 and 2 on repeat, I absolutely LOVE this show and hope it does run to Season 666! I don't care how they do it, the writing is brilliant, Michael and David are a sensationally dynamic duo, on the screen and off. Love them both to bits! :-)
Wellll if it does get a third season we'd most likely get 6 episodes just like the other two :) it'd be perfect

This show is AWESOME!! I loved both seasons, love their way throught the history! Loved the beggining in space! Wonderful! We are expecting the third and many other seasons. Also, Tennant is one of my favorite actors since Doctor Who, he is perfect!
Their irl personalities being the opposite of their characters is what made them even more perfect for their characters, I think! Crowley is "at heart, just a little bit of a good person" and Aziraphale is "deep down, just enough of a bastard to be worth knowing". Plus Michael originally auditioned for the role of Crowley
I need to rewatch that John Ham scene. He talks about being near someone to feel better and it makes so much more sense now
We get to witness them inventing a fun signature together! Awwwwww, this is too cute! I'd watch a vid of Michael turning his M into wings. As an artist I'd really dig watching him test out different variations of the sig til he feels he nailed it. ❤
