"You can see right here, number 63 - Raleigh McKenzie executes the delayed trap block perfectly, freeing up the pathway for Byner to walk into the end zone, and that's why he should be an all-pro at the end of this season, blocks like that"
John McDevitt I remember that the saint lateral a couple times to score on the final play and needed to make the extra point and missed and Jacksonville won the game
This was used back in 2013 when LeSean McCoy ran for 200+ when the Eagles played the Lions in that blizzard... this music is used very fun and exciting games
My favorite Primetime song EVER!!! I remember hearing this when Elway and the Broncos came back from being down 19-6 to the Kansas City Chiefs with only two minutes to play and won the game 20-19. Good stuff!
This is always the song they played when returning from a Nordic Track commercial. Usually like your 5-3s versus your 4-4s. Pittsburgh vs Baltimore, etc.
@vanni9283 I loved the Saints' radio broadcaster's reaction. "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! He missed the extra point wide right! Oh my GOD!!!! How could he do that?"
Used for highlights of the "River City Relay" wild finish in Week 16 of 2003. Saints complete the only successful 3 lateral TD in NFL history and miss the PAT, thus eliminating them from playoff contention.
Based off information people have added to my spreadsheet Week 4-Unused? Week 5-Unused Week 7-Unused Week 8-Unused Week 10-SD/SEA Week 14-Unused Week 16-Unused Week 17-Unused
@vanni9283 I'll never forget that game. It summed up the Saints' existence to that point: make you feel like they were getting somewhere, and then lay a turd on the field and break your heart. Well, maybe that was just the good years to that point. There were some when they were just terrible.
Glad to see a benign regular season victory means that much to Dallas fans lol. Now, it seems like ancient history when it actually took postseason success to get y'all excited. I hope Romo plays until he's 40 just so there'll be one less team to worry about in the NFC for another several years.
Which was the BEST that could have EVER happened to the Saints that year....it was a wake call and attitude adjustment...it was also payback for the pasting the Saints put on Dallas in 2006, so we're EVEN....
@vanni9283 I didn't see a single play of that game except for the H&L t.d. and the ensuing ex.p.. I was Christmas shopping at the mall (that game was in like week 16) and I walked by a restaurant and saw there was :05 seconds left so I stopped, and sure enough they scored and I remember saying to my buddy "wtf did that just happen live??" And i remember Haslett non-chalantly holding up 1 finger trying not to laugh at what just happened, and then Carney went shankapotamus ... shocking sequence
I remember hearing this one in 96-97 when San Diego went into Oakland and whooped them up. Always thought of it as SD's NFL Prime Time music after that.

Yes I do! Which ones did you still need for Week 17 1997? The reason why I still remember them so vividly is because Week 17 of the 1997 season was the first NFL Primetime episode I ever watched!!!
I feel like Tom Jackson described a LOT of blocking schemes to this music
"You can see right here, number 63 - Raleigh McKenzie executes the delayed trap block perfectly, freeing up the pathway for Byner to walk into the end zone, and that's why he should be an all-pro at the end of this season, blocks like that"
You win

😂😂😂😂😂😂bruh you are not lying I miss those two together
This one is for the comeback bid that came up just short. They scored three 4th Quarter TDs, but they couldn't get the onside kick at the end.
So true!!!
Cue up shot of the coach in sunglasses. he hangs his head. His future is now in doubt.
So low scoring Warren Moon Oilers games n shit bro. Lol
@@kencarman674 Wayne "Rasputin" Fontes
Lol
This was used for the the highlights of the "bizarre" ending of the Saints-Jaguars game in Jacksonville back in 2003.
John McDevitt I remember that the saint lateral a couple times to score on the final play and needed to make the extra point and missed and Jacksonville won the game
I watched that live. And I'll never forget how shocking the missed extra point was
""Oh my god, how could he do that?"
Guy had a six-year stretch where he missed only one XP….it was the River City Relay game. Sooo brutal.
This song makes me feel like I'm about to do some Tae-Bo on Miami beach.
Hilarious, but accurate.
With the one and only Billy Blanks!
Theme of Chris & TJ explaining a controversial play in more detail
My favorite of em all
Hell yeah mine to...
this was Dan Marino's music
This was used back in 2013 when LeSean McCoy ran for 200+ when the Eagles played the Lions in that blizzard... this music is used very fun and exciting games
Song name is "The Event" by Robin Gurin (composer credit only), Georgia Shapiro, and Alec Williams (performer credit only)
+Kyle Caughlin can you ID any of the other titles?
+Knightmessenger A few more.
this 1 was used a lot in the 90s
This game has a frustrating ending for one team, and a surprising win for another. Like a backed into a win game.
My favorite Primetime song EVER!!! I remember hearing this when Elway and the Broncos came back from being down 19-6 to the Kansas City Chiefs with only two minutes to play and won the game 20-19. Good stuff!
Oh man, what a game that was!! Fans were leaving the game early, and then once Elway scored that TD, they came pouring back in
Or when the Broncos beat Minnesota in Minneapolis and had to convert like a fourth and a goal
Back in the 90s, you would hear this song playing in infomercials for exercise equipment.
Whenever NFL Primetime returned from break, this is usually the first song they used in a highlight
ESPN needs to bring this one here back i remember listening to this in the 90s and 2000s
My oldest memory is watching the highlight from Saints at Carolina the year the Panthers lost 15 straight with this theme in the background.
2001!
This is my favorite one this will hype you up....
This is always the song they played when returning from a Nordic Track commercial. Usually like your 5-3s versus your 4-4s. Pittsburgh vs Baltimore, etc.

This one was always played for a blowout & usually came with an injury or two.

I'm just giving an example of when I heard it used. You're obviously right.

Deion Sanders probably returned a punt or a kickoff for a touchdown or an INT for six

John Friesz to Tony my favorite Martin
And neither of those cities has an NFL team anymore. 😥
Ah...the River City Relay....bought a new TV afterwards, 'cause I kilt the OLD one after Carney missed that kick, LOL!
"But THATS... why they play the game!" Then the overdog wins -but close.
The Event is the name of this I believe.
Correct
Kenny Britt scores a game winning touchdown thrown by Vince Young
This would be like..... Cardinals vs. Lions shit

The reason why I still remember them so vividly is because Week 17 of the 1997 season was the first NFL Primetime episode I ever watched!!!
This screams that at least one of the teams in the game was something like 4-11.
Word!
