Jason Emerson at 0:32 is when Favre would drive that ball 35 yards to the post route and the ball never went more than 7 feet in the air. Like a laser.
I can only think of one game with this primetime song because it was so epic (week) 1 49ers vs Jets 1998 first game back from season ending injury for Jerry Rice and Steve Young, Glenn Foley threw for over 400 yds for the Jets Keyshawn Johnson had a monster game like 170 rec yds 2tds. Garrison Hearst ended the game 36-30 in OT on a 96 yd run. i know because i was a kid and recorded it on vhs lol
The Hearst 💪🏾🏈! Low-key also T.O. like a mad man running blocking along the side for hearst gotta give him his props people will give T.O. 💩but the dude was underrated blocking receiver
This theme usually came on during a lot of Titan highlights when McNair would take a beating, return to the game and pull off the win the final minutes.

this is the best song aside from track 1 i swear the guitar makes this such a highlight worthy song. i can just picture manning coming back throwing TD's against the pats

They really phased this one out in the later years, huh? Reading your logs here, it goes from full seasons 1998-'02 to a barely used track the last three years.
Vivid memories of this song playing behind a 1996 Jaguars-Ravens recap... Jags won 28-25 in OT. No idea why I remember this, maybe it was the first time I remembered hearing this particular background song?

This was used for the opposite of the Game of the Week. The matchup was between a 3-9 team and a 4-8 team.

Amazing guitar rifts here. Underrated.

A team struggling the previous few weeks finds its rhythm and pleasantly surprises
THIS is the blowout song.....
As a highlight track? Far from my favorite.
As a music piece on its own? FREAKING AMAZING THOSE RIFFS OH MY
it sounds like I'm stepping into cells arena
Never heard this one before. Love it

Actually Jerry Rice came back 1 or 2 games before the 1997 season ended in a Monday night game against Denver☆
This theme usually came on during a lot of Titan highlights when McNair would take a beating, return to the game and pull off the win the final minutes.
EG
Battle between 2 horrible teams. Fumbles, safetys, sacks, and interceptions everywhere. lol
for the right to draft Number 1 overall
Then 9 times outta 10 this was raiders vs browns or lions vs bengals lol

Definitely hearing some Four Horsemen in there...
This was always my favorite theme of the show. Too bad it was usually reserved for the shittiest game
one of the greatest primetime songs, should have been used more often
Yeah this is deep into the archives, they didn't use this one nearly as often as most of the others.
This was always the Bill Pidto game--- or Robin Roberts in the early days. Some dreadful early 90's Patriots/Colts game; Bucs/Saints, etc.
this is the best song aside from track 1 i swear the guitar makes this such a highlight worthy song. i can just picture manning coming back throwing TD's against the pats
Man this is my fav one that guitar is awesome.I do feel like putting on a flight suit though

I have the same vivid memory of this song when I first heard it back in a Week 17 matchup in 1997 between the Colts and the Vikings...

I think this song was playing during every Jeff George highlight.
