I have met Robert P on about 6 unplanned occasions. In hotels, on trains and in bars. But never spoke to him. Even tho he was less than 1m away. Next time, and I’m sure there will be a ‘next time’ what shall I ask him…? 🤫🇬🇧🙏🏻🛎️
Greatest blues song done by a rock band in history. You can practically hear the pain in Pages guitar and the other players too. Of course Robert Plant is just the cream on the top. If remember, I think it was 1969, nobody had heard of Led and they were playing Cleveland. I was just milling arouind in the front rows, there were only about 100 people there, and BANG, they hit the stage with Communications Breakdown. It literally blew us into our seats because the wall of Marshall amps. By the end everyone was exhausted and sweating and shit. I'll never forget that night.
I won’t deny that. I was born in 1965. I wish I was born in 1955 so I could have seen all these bands that I loved growing up. I was so close to seeing Led Zeppelin. They came out with In Through The Out Door in 1979. In 1980 all the radio stations were talking about Zeppelin on tour and playing MSG. Then out of nowhere John Bonham died. I cried for John and later cried because I never got to see my all time favorite band. Well in High School they were. I almost forgot The Beatles.
Ron Dunbar If you get the opportunity to see the Jason Bohnam Zeppelin Experience I promise you (and I make very few promises)you will be very impressed. The closest you will get to experiencing the original thing.
One of the best, if not the best live performance by Plant and Jimmy Page. Page played an improvised solo as usual but he wasn't sloppy ...he was on the top of his game. Nobody can have done a better guitar performance for this kind of song, nobody.
I was blasting this in my house when the album was released. My neighbor knocked on my door. I thought it was to complain. He asked me to open the windows and turn it up so he could hear it better.
How could anybody in their right mind judge the gift of LZ to humanity. We should consider ourselves graced to witness. Sincerely humbled and thankful.

But Jones did say that he was not invited to partisapate . Boy, that Michael Lee really did his homework on all of Bonzo's parts. XLNT show! RIP Mikey and Bonzo We love you guys! Peace and Love
A masterpiece! A song that exposes the deepest inner feelings of a man filled with discontent, and restless bitterness. The hearts cry of many in this world caught in the circular slavery to the grind.
I saw this tour in '94 when they came through Houston, and I'll say this here and now - their performance of this song has to be the singular, most incredible concert moment I have ever witnessed. Absolute PERFECTION.
I saw them in Dallas & was blown away - too many times to remember seeing Robert Plant but the Unledded Tour w/ the full Egyptian orchestra was absolutely amazin!
