- 👋 Lets take a point of view look at the 2014 Nissan GTR! My car has about 700 horsepower with Flex Fuel and full bolt ons. Interior has the upgraded leather seats finished in red! Original MSRP was $105,000 and this GTR is finished in Gun Metallic with an upgraded set of Vossen wheels! Full straight pipe AAM exhaust sounds amazing with valves open! 👁 About this video : I have now owned my 2014 Nissan GTR R35 for almost 4 years and it has been great! This video is a POV review of my GTR the way it sits and will give you a great understanding about what it's like driving a GTR with 700 HP! GTR is FBO which stands for full bolt ons. Bigger air intakes, bigger fuel injectors and a full exhaust with no cats makes this FBO. My car is also running on Flex Fuel and can handle up to E85. In this video I talk about what it's like driving the GTR and of course ripping it up to some speeds!

Planning to buy a used one just one question what does the clutch do if its an automatic transmission
The dual clutch system is computer controlled and will shift like an automatic when you're in automatic mode. Then you can take manual control and use the paddle shifters if desired. Just in slow speeds, apply light throttle in reverse like you would in a manual. These cars are a bit clunky in slow speeds. But generally this will drive like a basic automatic car

Yeah man this car is like nothing else! Especially once you modify it. They just are so fun! I'll do my best to make more with the GTR! But we are adding POV to a lot of our review videos!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed love it. Installed them the other day. For rear you don't need spring compressor at all but interior removal. I just did 0.75 drop. Got springs for 300 shipped. Car looks amazing. Front didn't bug me that much but rear ...car sits good now. I probably need an alignment later. It feels more smooth. And it hugs corners pretty good. Less body roll
Nice to hear! Was the rear stuff hard to take all out? And is the car evenly lowered or does the rear sag lower than front?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed it's easy. Just a bit time consuming. I used impact gun on lower suspension bolts. You need 17mm open wrench. Which i picked up entire set from harbor freight for 20 bucks for the top nut on the strut. You know what ? I did some research on springs. And for example eibach sits higher in rear and swift too much dip in the front. So yes. The rear does sag just a bit which i prefer over the front dipping down. I could go with coils or has kw. But i don't track the car and it's cheaper ! :)
Good to know! I have some time before I'll plan on doing that. So I'll have to see which kit will be best. I want an even drop lol
Thanks for that review, it's always been in the back of my mind of how to use the lap timer and you've answered a question I've never asked! I feel the same about my GT-R, it's good all around and for long road travels. I travel from south florida to Houston TX and have no issues. I attest to long travels in the GT-R even with a total right hip replacement, migraines, and back injuries from my time in the Marines. It's a life long vehicle for me.

With the mods, what’s the 0-60 time on your car?
Mid 2 seconds. Hard to really know since I can only get perfect traction on the drag strip. Havent been on a strip with this setup. But the 0-100+ is what is more noticeably faster. Traction is always the limiting factor when already doing 0-60 in 2.7 seconds stock.

Nothing at all to maintain. An annual oil change yourself costs about $40. And every 35k miles get the trans and diffs serviced. About $400 for that. So it's literally nothing. Here are some maintenance vids Ive done. ua-cam.com/video/kLOHzI9lC9g/v-deo.html

I have seen some people swap out screens for huge replacements one that are the size of a tablet and have all the stock data but with more tech. Would be a cool option one day!

Mike do a complete facelift to the 2017 car interior and exterior it's better to do that than selling this and buying a new one and starting all over

Maybe I'll wait a couple of years hoping for an r36. 2014 interior looks nice but there's just so much outdated against Nissan's interior and exterior design. Hoping they can resolve it in the future. Really prefer this over other supercars but has some minor inconveniences outside of the engine. Probably amazing to drive though.
The 2017+ GTR has a more updated interior. We'll have to see if they make an R36. Would be cool!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed The 2024 model is probably the only one that looks decent in the exterior (in my opinion) but interior they are still lacking. They really need to re-design the whole front view a bit better for the dash. Infotainment wise, I have no complaints. It's just the dash that looks fairly outdated.
Definitely keeping my eye on it though. Will wait and see.

As for feedback. I felt toward the beginning you sounded so disinterested for some reason. You also eliminated yourself from the video. Reaction shots help sell the video. Also when you talked about the door handle it was out of frame.

Yeah it's a dark red. Different lighting and cameras make it either brown or orange sometimes

Amazing! If you maintain and take car of a car, you can drive it a long time! I still drive it hard in the mountains and do some spirited driving with it! It's bullet proof! Been a very reliable and fun car!

I like this style better compared to the normal talking to the camera on a tripod and GoPro on the windshield. It’s subtle but different in a good way! Definitely try it on the Supra maybe show a little more exterior but most of us fans already know what your GTR looks like lol Keep up the great work!
haha yeah really. We've been adding POV to a lot of our review videos lately. We'll do the first part of the test drive normal to get our facial expressions and reaction. Good video. I'd consider doing a bit more aggressive pulls for the video; in majority of the accelerations you're in higher gears and shifting at 4 - 5k. To avoid crazy speeds, just drop down and at least do full acceleration through 1st and 2nd gears.

Great vid👍You can never hate a GT-R right. Its a phenomenal car that gives all the other performance cars a run for their money when it comes to raw driving pleasure.
However it is pathetic to see the modern day GT-R have a soft limiter, It basically doesn't let you rev the car when it's stationary. You can only rev it upto 3000 or 3500 rpm😞. It's because of the laws and regulations 🤷♂️ but you can always remove it using some software right.
Again a great vid full POV like we get to see the car in a first person perspective. Amazing & keep up the good work👍
Yeah the GR is amazing! Love this thing! With mine tuned I can rev it up much more than that. A lot of new cars do that same thing tho which is weird.

I have a ton of videos on the channel of the cars I have owned lol. But I had this as a daily for 1.5 years. Then bought the Supra to go alongside. Had the Supra for 2 years. Just sold the Supra and am down to just the GTR. But I'm buying the new Z when it's available. i don't really have a 'daily' since UA-cam is my full time job and half the time I work from home. So I use my cars for everything really

Probably not. To go further in power now we are talking about over $35k in mods! Motor needs to be pulled to put bigger turbos on and the trans needs to be built. Not worth it. I hit 100 without thinking already

Nissan GTR's are absolute monsters on the drag strip, I should know because I lost badly multiple times racing against them on the quarter mile hehe.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed I love Corvette ZR1s, the C6 ZR1 Corvette are one of my top choices for my next fast car to get besides the C6 Z06 Corvette and the C7 Z06 (manual).

I will be just as happy with a C6 Z06 Corvette, those are mean street machines too. With a heads and cam, exhaust, and 93 octane tune, those cars should accelerate just as fast as a stock C6 ZR1 Corvette on the quarter mile while still costing thousands less.
