It must have been so great to perform in Canada since they were very big here before they hit the US. I wonder if they miss not having Andy there. I'll say one thing, they've come a long way from Birmingham, England and even when it was only Nick & Simon manning The Ship, they made it through.
No. They don't miss Andy. He really didn't like the bands sound and the last time they tried to work with him he couldn't get paper to get in with the band in the USA (his claim)and the band didn't like the fact he had to many inexplicably absence. And Also he is into doing his own thing now
Oh okay. I have to admit, I was more into Funk in the 1980's. George Clinton Funkadelic, Parliament, Cameo, Debarge (before I found out about their Drama). In his own way Andy reminds me of Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones in the sense there was a dispute on how the Music should be done. I think that after The Power Station hit the Big Time, in 1985, he felt he could go it "Alone" and boy did he get the biggest slice of Humble Pie out there.
Yes. I think he did. I mean if you manage to frak off duran Duran... Andy is out there though another album of his and with collaboration is out soon. He has a wikka which is fascinating
I read it, very interesting. Yet I think he took a page from Roger Taylor's Book. Roger spent more time out of Duran Duran than "In" Duran Duran and he was very happy with his Wife and Kids although he got married twice. There are a lot of British Artists who aren't in the Business and they are very happy. What happened to Emma Bunton aka Baby Spice, you never hear from her.
The energy and enthusiasm they still have after all these years is unbelievable. Hope they never go away.
