Update: This downgrade now works with iOS 3.2-3.2.2, and have tested it on both of my first-generation iPads. I was able to downgrade my cellular iPad 1 to iOS 3.2, but not my Wi-Fi variant. To be fair, my working Wi-Fi iPad 1 also wouldn’t downgrade to iOS 3.2 tethered, either.

I think it's better to use a screen recorder on your MacBook, this way the screen will be a whole lot clearer, at least that's what I think.
QuickTime Player is built into macOS and has a screen recorder.

You can use Semaphorin, which I will link here: github.com/LukeZGD/Semaphorin However, it is tethered and will only connect to Wi-Fi networks without passwords.
Whats benefit downgrading 5 to 4 or iphoneos 3 ??

i got a 64gb ipad 1 from an employee at my gym. doesn’t work. i did ask if she had any recollection of plugging it into a computer and updating, she said she had itunes but can’t remember doing the update. personally my bets are on yes judging on how rare ios 3/even 4 is. worth fixing?

It is impossible to downgrade a first-generation iPad to iOS 4.2.1-5.1 on Windows without saved SHSH blobs for such versions.
@@TheiTunesFanboy There’s not really any need for a Windows version as you can just use legacy iOS kit on Linux.

Please help me fix error 1600 😢
I tried to downgrade my iPhone 4 to 4.2.1 with an iFaith IPSW (I have blobs), I got error 11. I downgaded my iTunes to iTunes 11, I got error 1600. I tried using iReb and still got the error. I tried redsn0w but it said that the blobs could not be verified. (I'm on Windows btw)
I have never attempted to downgrade an iPhone via iFaith, so I sadly cannot offer much assistance. However, I know that iFaith iPSWs have a tendency to fail; so that could be the issue. You could also need to downgrade to iTunes 10.
Update : I also downgraded my iPod 4 to 4.3.3, and both the downgrades were untethered and successful.

Someone has actually done a untethered downgrade to iPhoneOS 3.2.2 on iPad 1 but I don’t know how, probably by using the same iBoot exploit
