Four seasons of motorcycle freedom; that is what the REV’IT! Vapor 2 Jacket and Pants are all about. From the Hydratex waterproof membrane to the detachable thermal liner, the Vapor 2 is equipped for the less-than-stellar weather that makes its way into many rides. At the same time, when the storm clouds and cool weather has cleared, zippered vents enable the Vapor 2 to flow enough air to remain comfortable in warm weather as well. Additional features include Seeflex CE Level 2 protection, a pocket for an optional (and sold separately) Seesoft CE Level 2 type RV back protector, and a polyester ripstop / PWR|shell 500D stretch / PWR|shell 500D outer shell.

Hey! This question is regarding the Vapor 1 jacket. My Vapor jacket is still in good shape and the only reason for me upgrading to the Vapor 2 would be the better armor. So I was wondering: Would the seeflex CE2 armor fit into the Vapor 1? And if so, considering one piece of Seeflex Armor cost €30 in Germany and I need four (2x shoulders and 2x Elbows) do you think this is a worthwhile upgrade or should I just safe up some more cash and go straight to buying a Vapor 2 for €370.-? I prefer the styling of the Vapor 1 and mine is still in good shape

Hey Bo, the Vapor can fit Seeflex RV10 and RV13. However, if you do swap to Seeflex in the original Vapor, it's not as comfortable as the ProLife armor. The Vapor 2 is more comfortable with Seeflex, as it was designed around that armor. So you could really go either way. The ProLife armor is still really good armor, so personally, I'd just keep it as is. -DrewZilla

@@RevZilla thanks for the very honest reply, Drew. Alright, then I will keep my vapor as it is and upgrade to the version two if this one falls apart. It's two years old and has 11000km, so I will probably still have some life in it left. Thanks for all the great work. I hope you will have RevZilla Germany in the future so I can order from you without having to deal with custom fees 😉 cheers

As an owner of the previous suit, they nailed everything except the styling. I wanted the new armor, the direct vents on the pants, the slide-lock. But REV'IT!'s new styling across the line leaves me very cold.

So if I understand correctly the waterproof liner is not removable?

Correct, the waterproof liner is fully integrated into the jacket and is not removable. -DrewZilla

Which would be a better 4 season jacket for commuting in the Pacific Northwest on a sports bike? The Vapor 2 or Sand 3?

I would recommend the Vapor 2 for the sport bike riding position. -DrewZilla
