There a few features you missed. There are pockets for chest protectors as well as the same zips for the Thermal Liner can be used for the Rev'it cooling vest. I find depending on the gloves you are wearing if you leave the cuffs not full cinched down there's enough airflow that the absence of sleeve zips isn't a big issue. It's a very stylish jacket one that doesn't make you look like a boxy ADV weirdo.
Bought this jacket and it is great. Only thing I lacking is the ventilation in the arms. I used it together with my tenere 700 and I think it also work well for some simple offroad.
@REV'IT! This jacket being almost 6 years old, it's time to renew it. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it had more ventilation. Change nothing, just add some arms and back ventilation (I mean back, in addition to the shoulder blade/armpit ones) and another protective layer of fabric over the shoulders and elbow please!!!
Im also a fan of this, but my only hesitation is the 400d outershell. Is it enough to keep my skin safe in a (highway) slide? How many seconds will the jacket hold up in a slide? Is CE rated to AA enough?

I wish revzilla would do a bike specific gear suggestions I ride super duke being that it’s a naked bike I feel like that puts me in between categories on the website.. imo
Why can't you wear ADV jackets on a sport or naked bike. Just wear whatever is safest and has the most practical use. "sporty" jackets are usually the least versatile in terms of storage pockets, ventilation, etc so unless you're riding track (in which case you'd need a suit) then I don't see why anyone would consider sporty jackets
Is would this fit the same as the horizon 2? I wear a horizon 2 in size XL and it's perfect fit. Would this me slimmer fitting or slightly bigger? Thanks guys
Yes, it fits very similarly to the Horizon 2. If you look at the video for the Horizon 2 and the Trench, HVB wears size LG in both, and both seem to drape the same on him. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-trench-gtx-jacket *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-horizon-2-jacket
If breathable waterproofing is important to you, yes. The Trench uses Gore-Tex while the Horizon 2 uses REV'IT's proprietary waterproofing. That's the main difference, otherwise it comes down to style mostly. -Kraus-e
@@RevZilla Bought the horizon 2 jacket in the end. Really wanted to like the Trench GTX, likes the colour and it's goretex. But that collar. It kept digging into my Adam's apple, in a way that the Horizon 2 did not. They took away the adjustability that the Horizon has, and you can clip it open like you can on the Horizon. Time will tell if the Horizon was the right choice.

6 year old jacket, I'm hoping they'll bring out a similarly styled but improved new version
Does it do the job during winter or when it is cold like 0 degree ?
Any reason you guys haven't come up with the review of the REV'IT ridge GTX jacket?
It's very limited edition (only 500 total in the world), so it might not make sense to make a video. -DrewZilla

You can basically wear whatever you want, from slightly longer touring jackets to waist-length sport leather jackets. -DrewZilla

When will you have these back in stock?
Hi there,
Is the jacket itself CE-rated? Or is it just the armour inserts?
Yes, the jacket itself is CE rated to level AA. The armor is CE Level 2. -DrewZilla

How does this compare to the Horizon 2? Is it worth the extra money?

Can the armor be upgraded to D3O?
No. Plus, D3O isn't an upgrade, as the Seeflex armor is already CE Level 2, lighter, and better-vented. -DrewZilla
