- It’s Memorial Day weekend and with the extra time Shelby and I have decided to try and complete the Highway 101 Loop on the Olympic Peninsula! From finding campsites along the Hood Canal, to swimming in Lake Crescent, and hiking along the beach of La Push there is certainly plenty to witness!

Also, Chick-fil-A is my favorite. Canes is good, but doesn't have the variety. Also Popeyes for the honey mustard and strawberry biscuits. Zaxbys' fries and Zax sauce are amazing too, but their chicken is far too dry.

So my biggest question is how did you manage to camp on a beach in Washington. Only permitted beaches to camp are la push and beaches 1-3. Curious what permit you needed to camp I can figure the rest out.
No permits were needed here, at least to my knowledge and what has been shared from before.
What place is that? Where you park and camp on the beach?

What influenced the trade in of the Tacoma to the Jeep?
Just wanted something that aligned with my lifestyle and needs. The Tacoma was absolutely amazing and I'll always love that platform. The decision to change vehicles was not motivated to simply moving from one manufacturer to another but more so having a vehicle that was centered around my type of travel, work/ weekend warrior balance, improved mileage, and overall tech/ luxury. So far the Grand Cherokee 4xe platform has been incredible and I can't wait to showcase more of it!

How’s the Jeep working out for you? Any plans for modifications?
Absolutely amazing! Don't have any real need for heavy mods as it essentially has everything I need straight out of the box. I do have plans to install a fridge slide in the coming weeks if that counts haha. Stay tuned for a future walk around video, I'll be going into much more detail.
How’s the mpg compared to the Tacoma?
Incredible. 40mpge (fully loaded) compared to the 14mpg in the Tacoma.... downhill with a tailwind... 😆
Can you reveal your spot for the beach camping?
My daughter and I are supposed to do a overnight trip to the BC interior, but the weather is calling for thunder showers, and we had three mountain peaks on the agenda.
Going to head south instead… Olympic Peninsula it is!
We were supposed to leave tonight, but now that the plans are changing, we’re going to head out first thing in the morning. Any tips you can provide would be most appreciated.
