My man you did a Flawless job just one side note when you take the oil filter off make sure the gasket comes off with it those Fords like to hang on to it so you don't get a double seal and a leak trust me I'm an idiot I made that mistake

Good video. Glad you showed position of filter on engine. Had black filter hard to spot. Other vids do not explain their body position or location of item under the engine. Thanks.
Smart, ramps. Just kills me watching all of these You Tube videos and people are jacking their vehicle up and placing jackstands under the car. Yes, I agree with jackstands and safety, but running your car up on a set of ramps is so much easier and much safer, I just do not understand why more people do not use ramps. And if your car sits low, they make low profile ramps just for those vehicles.
This engine is designed where you do not need to pre fill the filter, once you pour new oil in it will fill up, the filter sits almost sideways low on the engine
Why do you think they install a anti drainback valve in oil filters? So you do not get a dry start. the filter is higher than the pan, so yes you get a dry start.@@jonathanhughes3446

Price oil at the local parts store. If they want you to buy oil there than price it so I will buy it there. Hell even Walmart is a better option. Not everyone has extra money to help a store. You know that paycheck to paycheck thing.

My filter had so much crap in its way, no good angle to get to it. Not sure if I have some aftermarket suspension parts or not but it’s in there good

You fill the filter before installing...this avoids momentarily starving the engine of oil upon start up
