Very happy to have left UK. 12 months anniversary and wish we'd done it some time ago. We now enjoy low tax, no crime, free speech, ok services, no IHT or CGT, beautiful scenery, no traffic queues. we come back to the UK to visit family, but always look forward to getting home again.
My son went to a local private school. He acquired a girlfriend in university and brought her back to 'show off' to his friends. She was amazed at how much the boys 'loved' their school which, she said, was unthinkable in her state comprehensive in South Wales.
Over the first six months of the year, I believe the UK economy was growing faster than any other G7 economy. It would normally take a year or so for an incoming government to put this into reverse, but Labour did in instantly. That really does take some doing. I always knew this would be the most evil and incompetent regime in British history, but even I didn't expect them to reveal their evil and incompetence so quickly and so nakedly.
The state needs to get its nose out of law abiding citizens lives. We should be able to say whatever we want within reasonable limits; the government has gone too far and it is time this trend was reversed.
I recommend the EV Carnage UA-cam channel for discussion of the short-comings of battery EVs. His recent episode of EV Vans was astonishing. Adopting these will make logistics massively inefficient & destroy companies. (also I recommend the Geoff Buys Cars, Barrie Crampton, & MGuy Australia channels) ps. Love Intel Lady.
