First time riding the very busy Stelvio pass in Italy. Enjoy that amazing view! 🚀 BMW S1000XR 2017 📸 Gopro Hero 9 - 4k@30fps 🔎 ND16 filter 🏞️ Italy, Stelvio pass
I'm sorry to hear you had so much traffic on the stelvio. But now u have more time to enjoy the amazing view. I think it's a hard job to ride all the hairpins with the 1250RT. Maybe that why it felt so hot for u hahaha
When I went up on 1st July 2018 on my Red K1300GT there were two official photographers one on either side and you could purchase your photographs online if you knew within the half hour slots when you went up. Great ride I thoroughly enjoyed it.
You got pretty heavy traffic that day. Being trapped behind these cars sucks in the hairpins. I admire your patience - especially driving behind this Audi. Nice shoots and good driving. Keep it up!
Thanks, I always try to drive carefully/responsible. And yes there is a lot of traffic but it's an amazing road with an even more beautiful scenery so I understand that people will come here. If I want a clean road I go to the track 😉
LOL, I've had that same exact mis-shift on my XR, just not on the Stelvio. Cars on the Stelvio=nuisance. Bicyclist on the Stelvio=back markers. Buses on the Stelvio=retarded.
Yeah, the mis shifts happens when you do not give enough input (lazy). Especially with the wrong tension on the chain (in my case the chain was gone, changed it immediately after i was back home). And ofcource: check, check, check ;)
Sorry if its not your driving style. I preffer to give it some more throttle and stay in the 1st gear a little longer. For sure its not a race track, the corner are way to sharp😉. But I also have those video's, please checkout my profile so u see the difference 🤣😘
I think I always salute other bikers! But sometimes your busy with clutch or traffic. I prefer focus on traffic and vehicle control before salute other other bikers. I think u see in the video I salute 80% of the bikers dont know where your frustration comes from
Stilfser Joch, immer wieder der Hammer👍
Thats for sure
Went over Stelvio on a 1250 RT in July 2022. Pretty heavy traffic. And it was hot! Great time. Love your XR.

Thanks, I did see them in the corners but in my opinion the foto's where definitely not worth the price they where asking. But thanks for the tip 🫡
Bellissima la xr💪👍🏻
si ,ma lui è un asino..non conosce i rapporti della xr. e il tiro di questo fantastico 4 cilindri.

Nice bike and place. No offense, but Stelvio is in Italy, just for a correction for the description. In this year same bike place I'll be there too.
Thanks for the heads up
Its an amazing bike with a lot of power and a really nice sound. Have a nice trip 👌🏼🚀
Niceeee!! What exhaust do you have?

@@carlo8943 thats definitely one of the reasons i bought this bike. The power, sound, handing and touring capabilities
@@rickvenema13 thanks for your reply man, is it also possible to drive this bike offroad?
@@carlo8943 you could possibly ride every bike offroad. But i think BMW created other models for that haha. This one is definitely for the road
Salut c'est le GPS BMW ?

The Stelvio is not a race track! Drivers like you cause route closures 😞

as usual, a bmw driver unable to salute another biker... a race apart!
