Velocicoaster is my #1 and Iron Gwazi is my #3, I see what u mean Iron Gwazi is more intense, it really just comes down to whether you prefer straight intensity or a full experience, I just think the theming, storytelling, and layout combined makes it the best coaster I’ve been on, I’m just interested you said Velocicoaster is your 3rd fav in Florida what’s your 2nd Mako?
@@Southeastern_Thrills I can tell your favorite part of coasters is airtime, Mako is my #4, It’s running phenomenal the mid course doesn’t hit as hard as of a week ago it’s so good! Have you been on ArieForce One? That’s my #2.
I think this is a very good coaster but the people saying it’s world class and top steel coaster good are crazy to me. Like it’s not in the same universe as Iron Gwazi. As far as launch coasters Xcelerator, Kingda Ka and Dragster blow it out of the water. Those rides accelerate from a dead spot to a higher top speed in a shorter amount of time.
The Mosasaurus roll is fantastic in just how violent it is. Velocicoaster's top hat is good but, it doesn't really stand out among other top hats in my opinion.
I see what you’re getting at, but Velocicoaster is still an excellent coaster. It’s decently intense. Not as intense as Iron Gwazi or I-305 but still very thrilling. It’s an extremely well executed ride. If you prefer storytelling and a full package experience, you will like Velocicoaster more, if you like rides that try to rip your face off and toss you like a ragdoll, you will like Iron Gwazi more.
@@triplea9209 It's totally worth a trip down to Tampa just for Iron Gwazi. Ever since I first rode it days after opening, it's been the best coaster I've ridden.
While velocicoaster is a really good coaster, i don't have it near my top. Top 10 for sure, but wasn't as impressed as i thought as i would be. I think just hearing everyone say velocicoaster is the best thing ever hurts it too. Like they judge it before they have even been on it.

Not that it isn't in my top 5 but I'm usually a s**t for well-rounded launched coasters with good theming so I went in expecting Velocicoaster to run away with #1 and it didn't even surpass Iron Gwazi (which I had rode the day before and is my current #1) or X2 (which was my #1 for 12 years before my Florida coaster trip).
Why are you only complaining about airtime? VelociCoaster is not supposed to be a monster like Iron Gwazi. Univeral and Intamin are trying to make a re-rideable coaster that people will enjoy, and the pacing is supposed to be a part of the storyline. Do you really take airtime that seriously? In my opinion, this video is just stupid. No don't get me wrong, I don't hate you, but also mention some categories of the ride like pacing, speed, G-Forces (positives, laterals, negatives, etc...). And if you say it's your third favorite coaster, and you think it's overrated, you are completely destroying the point of everything you just said! And why not just appreciate the ride for what it is?
I do appreciate and love VelociCoaster, I was just over exaggerating my thoughts. Because I rode Iron Gwazi two years before VelociCoaster, I was expecting Iron Gwazi level airtime and didn't get that. Don't get me wrong, VelociCoaster is a fantastic ride with some truly incredible moments such as the heartline roll. I was just expecting it to possibly become my new favorite coaster in Florida, which it was designed to be.
To each their own! Veloci is far from overrated because the combination of lats + air is vigorous and full of energy. U don't get a stretch of the spine in one static position........ imo.
@@Southeastern_Thrills odd, cuz the stall, off axis hill and ending switchback killed me left and right. I get the hype for gwazi and it's in my top 5 but velo's air was more dynamic from my experience. The restraint allowed more upper body movement.
Yeah it is a tad bit overrated came from California to ride this because I wanted to see all the hype was about it a little let down like you said the front is the best specially at night other than that yeah 😅

Exactly the point I was trying to get across in the video.
Velocicoaster has my two favorite elements (the top hat and the Mosasaurus roll)

Yep 👍
I like it better than Gwazi. Gwazi is awesome though.
I respect your opinion
Fury is the most overrated coaster
It's my second favorite coaster just behind Iron Gwazi. I might be the problem.
I rode Pantheon before VelociCoaster and VelociCoaster felt like a Diet Pantheon.
Haven't ridden Pantheon but, I thought the same thing when I rode VelociCoaater after riding Iron Gwazi.
