Nice build bro! I'm also in the process of building my dream fixed gear.the frame just got delivered this evening...I hung it in my closet since I don't have a bike stand yet!😅
I saw your bike on Reddit and then it shows up here in my youtube feed. Sick bike and mental colours. Just built up an NJS frameset that i'll post once my camera mans new lens turns up. Loving your choice of components thank you for sharing.
If you do an NJS build really do your homework. The biggest thing you need to consider will be your rims. NJS standards are tubular and they suck on roads. I ended up going down the Hplus son TB14 route so they look similar but have better tyre choices. @@victorfixienerd
Love the color scheme with tiny little bolts adding up to a masterpiece, I can tell it took days maybe more than months to get most of the stuff, but it was all worth it. First time watching this channel but I already love it! This might be an inspo for my future builds, Love it from all the way to the Philippines!
The bike looks absolutely stunning, I would actually love to build a fixie myself but I'm not into the community and have no idea how to start, like what frame do I need, and what handle bar fits good also I have no idea which wheels are good and so on. What do I need to read and what do I need to know to start my fixed gear journey?
Hey, best way would be to start checking insta and the #fixie and #fixedgear You can check all the bikes and discover the different brands, etc. Check youtube too, there are some good fixed gear guys in there ;-) And your local bike shop might also have some good advices 👍
I did a video on my other channel building a the same frame as single speed with internal routing. Check on "tension de chaîne", it's a video from April 2023 with red frame from darkside
this fixie build is awesome. i build mine a month ago aswell. absolutely love riding fixed gear. can you please tell me the name of the tool you are using for getting the tension on your backwheel? 15:41
Well, I tried them in many different conditions, even gravel with 28c Gravelking. I can say that for the price they offer a really nice update vs butyl in terms of ride feel. Puncture protection is ok-ish.
This combination of colours could have easily slid into "clown vomit" territory if done improperly, but damn it if this build ain't proper af. Well done.
Thomson stem ✅ installed right after the video with blue bolts 😎 And vs the Paul, I am with you 👍 Zipp service course looks good too, I hesitated. I have Zipp bars on my gravel and they're dope. Maybe next upgrade 😎 Also, huge fan of you man 😁 been following for a while on Strava 😉
@@victorfixienerd oh really?! Have you seen my bike check videos? I’ve got 3 coming. Love your choice of tires BTW. 32 Gravelking is great. They also do a purple/green combination which looks sick. I’m about to build a very special fixie/tracklocross, with 34c tire clearance, steel frame, carbon wheels. It will be amazing believe me!
I have WATCH ALLLLLL your bike check 😂 Can't wait to see what you're cooking 💪 Panaracer is doing so many limited colors it's just insane. I tried to find the link one from 2021 but almost impossible. Probably would have been too much on this build 😅
@@victorfixienerd Well I am planning to build a fixie here in DE. Since I saw this video, now i know there is a shop in Mannheim. I will probably visit there soon. Thank you
Thats a dream build right there. The blue wheels absolutely tie it all together. well done!
Cheers 💪
This is one of the best dream builds I have seen on all of UA-cam, congrats
Thank you 🙏🙏
We are definitely back in the nineties with all these bright colours and I love it!
That's the spirit 💪💪💪
Wonderful build, I love the darkside frames and with the dropbars they just look super awesome with the colours and all
Thank you 🙏
1. Beautiful build 👌
2. I understand why people use spacers to raise stem height.
3. Aesthetically spacers drive me crazy.
4. Slam the stem.
1. Thank you 🙏
2. No everyone does
3. I understand that
4. No
😁😁😁
You nailed it perfectly man. Looks amazing!
Thanks man 🙏🙏 now your turn to show your latest baby 😁😁😁
looks fantastic! Great use of colour, can definitely see the time and research gone into this build 👍😎
Thank you 🙏
square taper bb are a thing of beauty. great video
Yeah I still truly believe they are great for slow rider like me 😁
Honestly, I don't know.
Maybe square taper is a bit reliable but wouldn't bet my salary on thag

Curious to see your ;-)

I already looked a lot actually 😂 but yeah you're right.
TB14 seems to be a great choice

Thank you 🙏 since the video I actually changed some stuff like stem bolts to match 😁😁
Use it as inspo as much as you want ;-)
That’s two of my favourite colours. Amazing job man. KEEP IT UP👍🏼
Thanks 💪
one of the cutest builds I've ever seen
Thank you 🙏
I like it just for the choice of color) I love pink myself and assembled my MTB in a combination of black and pink.
wow it looks spectacular on you, I really like the color combination 🎉
Thanks 🙏

Oh this is very nice. ✨
dis build so siiiiiick, gj man
Thank you 🙏🙏
Nice!
🙏🙏
Amazing build!!
Thank you 🙏🙏
They released flamingo pink in 2022 also, Sooooo, those might be hard to track but I know Panaracer made a pink one.
2021 I think 😁 but with tan sidewall... I checked don't worry 😎
Great content! I would love to see how that internal rear cable routing works.
I did a video on my other channel building a the same frame as single speed with internal routing.

Thanks, found it!@@victorfixienerd
Ouhhhh qu'il a l'air d'être très très beau et bien.
Ça va être pas mal 😉
Good job on the build, new subscriber by the way. The color scheme reminded me of Mr. Beast.
Thanks 🙏 it kind of does actually 😅
hottest single speed i have ever seen
Thanks 🙏
Brakeless ?
How much would you say you spent on this build looks super clean
Easy answer: too much 😂😂
Detailed answer: between 4 and 5k 😁
this fixie build is awesome. i build mine a month ago aswell. absolutely love riding fixed gear. can you please tell me the name of the tool you are using for getting the tension on your backwheel? 15:41
Thank you 🙏
So it's a chain tensioner from velobike.nz
I recommend, mostly because it's so much easier to have clean chain tension with it 😁
What a corn bike, you know what I mean.
Im following you for a while, it's your first breakless isn't?
Keep on rollin baby
Thanks man 🙏
It's brakeless only for the video 😁 already put a brake, safety first
I'm happy to read that, good exemple for the kids 👍@@victorfixienerd
Okay la dinguerie 😮😮😮

It's really tricky to use screaming colors when doing a build. There is always a fine line between ugly AF and damn gorgeous 😁
We're u. Get the tires ?sick
Panaracer 😁

why didnt you get thomson stem and bars?
So.... Since the video I might have already changed the stem to a Thomson one 😁
Bars I like the ritchey one for now
Thomson seatpost = Thomson Stem. As good as Paul’s and more affordable. ZIPP Service Course SL bars woulda been better too
Thomson stem ✅ installed right after the video with blue bolts 😎

Can you please confirm the exact handlebar?
No 😂
I have really no clue which Ritchey bars it is...
@@victorfixienerd are they carbon? The only version I seem to find are $300 carbon
Alloy. It’s was cheap
"FiXeD dReAm GeAr BuilD"

Yeah I think you should check Darkside brand. It's my second one and really love it
Built for single speed😮
How tall are you?
Hey Ryan, 1.87 meters
I don't like fixed gear I just like bikes.
We all love bikes 😁 no matter what is it, as long as it has a crank and 2 wheels 😎
I think sugino 75 are way overrated and you can get better cranks like dura ace 7600 or 7710 for lower price
Dura ace 7710 and 7600 are clearly above for sure 👍
I just love the look of Sugino 75s
this shows Money does not buy taste.
Well, that's a pretty damn useless comment 😅

So that’s a girl’s bike I’m guessing 🤔🤷🏻♂️
Oh wow, it's pink so it's for girl... We are in 2024 now you know 😁😁
It's 2023, but don't worry, it suits your personality perfectly.
True actually 😁
