Gatt dayum, that BB is smoooth! I've seen a lot of modern builds where the cranks are spun and folks get barely 10 full revs but yours just kept spinning and spinning! DO WANT 😀 .
Love that frame for whatever reason. Just reminds me of when I started riding fixed around 2008, and I'd always find Feather, IRO and Bianchis on craigslist lol. That's probably the only Fuji Feather I'd ride.
Love the build! Like you mentioned, I'd raise the stem just a little and angle the handlebars down a bit. I'd keep the Nitto stem, the Cinelli looks too .. crazy. If you're gonna be riding more upright, consider a saddle with more cush - that Flite is way too sporty, IMHO. In the next video, I'd love to see a close-up shot of a drop of Loctite Blue on the Izumi halflink chain bolt ;) Cheers from the Netherlands and keep'em coming!
Cheers man! Yeah I usually do a few adjustments after the first few rides to tune it in. Have lowered the bars a bit and it’s pretty comfy now. Do agree about the saddle but I couldn’t not put this on, just love the look of them too much, and felt like this red one was destined for this frame haha. I don’t usually use loctite, haven’t had any issues on my super toughness master links yet but thanks for the tip 🙏
Sick build! I worked as an NYC messenger and used this exact frame for about a year. Had a full Dura-ace track groupset, Nitto risers and Araya hoops. Always called it my ketchup and mustard bike! Keep riding my friend!
I don’t know anything about bicycles but I’m glad I got this in my recommended. The music and the videography were great. I also love that colorway on the frame.
Love these strip and builds, i used tu just watch cos theyre mesmorising but now im doing my bike mechanic qualifications i understand it all and that makes it even better to watch.
super nice mate! Altthough its a beater bike i feel like the decals/frame paint will make u fast af! I also just build up my new beater! A red KHS Flite 100 from 2006, super sick with rust and paint chips as well!!
Awesome. Think it might be the favorite yet haha. Built a similar setup years ago with a 1974 Huffy (made in Japan) frame that has some soma osprey bars. Gotta compensate for the sweep back so I say stretch it out with that Cinelli stem !
Interesting that 2001 fork is unicrown like on current Fujis while it had a cast crown in years between. Nice color scheme from years when bikes had fun included right from store.
Yeah very true, I didn’t think about that.. I’m not the biggest unicrown fan but I don’t mind it on this build! Maybe it was just a cost thing? Not sure..
Good question, I didn’t have a 17t cog for it so just went with the 16t I had, will most likely swap out to a 17t on it soon though.. not a fan of the 1 skid patch either haha
Majority of them are for me, with the exception of a few that I’ve built for friends and other people. Favourite is a hard one.. the 650b steamroller was a really fun one to build and ride off-road, my gazzetta is my most ridden one everyday around town vice, the mash reyes is my favourite for tricks and the 2015 histogram for the aggressive angle, speed and stiffness. But I love them all differently 😊
"I've been pretty damn excited excited about this build for a while" makes me curious. How many builds do you have going on / planned at once? Thanks for the video :)
gantong ganto yung binubuo ko frame ngayon shet kulang lang ako ng components pero eto yung nasa isip ko matagal na wala lang talaga ako pera. Kuhang kuha nya yung build na gusto ko 😢
Every component you used is really nice except for the bottom bracket. Loose ball bearing BBs are pure dogshit, even the NJS ones. Do yourself a massive favour and replace it with a Tange BB.
"Beater grocery getter" with NJS sugino 75s LOL. Gotta admit I'm jealous.
My thoughts exactly :D
yeah same, this beater build is more dope than my high end bike
I was only one minute into the video and I was looking for pretty much this exact comment :D
what i love about this channel is you get straight to the point. no fluff, heres what im doing today and this is how i did it. love it

i too, have a 300$ crankset on my beater bike XD. great build
I don’t know anything about bicycles but I’m glad I got this in my recommended. The music and the videography were great. I also love that colorway on the frame.
Yet another banger 💥 So sick to see all the different style builds. Choice grips on the cruiser bars goes hard too
Cheers man! Some of my favourite grips for sure
Always a good day when there is a wavey wheelies vid to watch
That lovely cat makes this video more better❤
Love that, so much character to it and super functional
It feels surreal that this frame was once racing in the velodrome now chilling in the streets
I love it. I wasn't too sure about the bars until it all came together. Beautiful. Great work, on bike and video!
Love these strip and builds, i used tu just watch cos theyre mesmorising but now im doing my bike mechanic qualifications i understand it all and that makes it even better to watch.
Ah, just what I needed, some bike meditation build from WW. Looks like a really fun bike to ride!
I just love that! Planning on doing exactly this on my Vigo 2022 😎😎
Nice👌 I want to see that!
WOW making a wheelie with a fixed gear, you really can wheelie anything!! Great build
Haha cheers! Took a while to learn but loads of fun once you get the hang of it!
Like the paintjob, the basket and love the seat.. Great build 🎉
Cheers✌️
its a clean build and not over done what more could ask for.
That chain sounds goooood
super nice mate! Altthough its a beater bike i feel like the decals/frame paint will make u fast af! I also just build up my new beater! A red KHS Flite 100 from 2006, super sick with rust and paint chips as well!!
cheers man!! that sounds like a sweet build you’ve got there, those frames are rad!
Love it bro. Keep it up.
Thanks man🙏
one of my favorites you have built 👏
i was smiling the whole video
Nice build! Now i’m going to go look for a beater! Ride Safe!
another great build! needs a long-boy stem with those bars 😉
Bro I've been waiting for months for u to upload thank you 🎉
No worries! Hope you enjoy✌️
I enjoooyed it, keep goin
This was great to watch
Glad you enjoyed🙏
Iv used them gator tyres last and feel good when cycleing all the best lovely build as usesl.😊
Great video as always! Might not be your taste, but I really wanna see your Fuji Feather build!
Awesome. Think it might be the favorite yet haha. Built a similar setup years ago with a 1974 Huffy (made in Japan) frame that has some soma osprey bars. Gotta compensate for the sweep back so I say stretch it out with that Cinelli stem !
Cheers! That sounds like a sweet build! I’m loving the swept back bars so far, the Cinelli stem is very tempting..
Love you master chain link😁😁
Man i love this one
💛
nice and clean build
thanks!🫡
Just perfect
🙏
Im going to build a grocery getter beater, I’m also going to install a $700 drivetrain on it. Haha
Love that 🤘
Interesting that 2001 fork is unicrown like on current Fujis while it had a cast crown in years between. Nice color scheme from years when bikes had fun included right from store.

wish I had those bars!
Very tastefull build, no poseur parts
Sick build! I would just put caps on or flush cut the bolts that clamp the basket to the handlebars so nothings gets accidentally caught.
Cheers! Yeah that’s not a bad call actually, I might have to do that now 👌
how's riding brakeless and fixed with stuff in the basket going for you? I feel like I'd be losing balance all the time
It’s interesting for sure, takes a few rides to get used too. Haven’t ridden with a really heavy load yet but will have to update you on that!
Man. i wish my parts bin go as deep as yours. Sugino’s. Nittos, Gran compe and flite saddle. Thats a pretty expensive beater if you ask me.
Curious why the 1 skid patch ratio 🤔 but amazing beater bike build
Good question, I didn’t have a 17t cog for it so just went with the 16t I had, will most likely swap out to a 17t on it soon though.. not a fan of the 1 skid patch either haha
cool i like it
hey! I have a Fuji Track (2018) and a cat who looks just like that one, only chubbier. : )
Hah that awesome! They are the best workshop friends😊
The crankset is worth more than the rest of the bike.
I've always wondered what you do with your builds? Are these for customers? Or do you flip em? Also, what's been your favorite build so far?!
Majority of them are for me, with the exception of a few that I’ve built for friends and other people. Favourite is a hard one.. the 650b steamroller was a really fun one to build and ride off-road, my gazzetta is my most ridden one everyday around town vice, the mash reyes is my favourite for tricks and the 2015 histogram for the aggressive angle, speed and stiffness. question about brand new izumi chain can i use it right away or should i clean it and apply chain lube?
"I've been pretty damn excited excited about this build for a while" makes me curious.
How many builds do you have going on / planned at once?
Thanks for the video :)
Usually around a handful, I occasionally pick up a frame and slowly accumulate parts for it over the course of months sometimes years haha
Burn bro 🔥🔥🌾
what u think about tsunami frames??
Hey mate, where is the front rack from? Sweet video
Found it! No worries!
Do you keep all of your builds up or do you take them down after a couple rides
Keep most of them but I have sold a few over the years and a couple have been stripped back down, only got so much space and can only ride so many
😮
❤

What's the song that starts at 5:00. It's like stardew valley summer with cicada sounds. Or are the cicada sounds frome your mic?
That song is made by a friend of mine! And yep the cicada sounds are from the mic, they are pretty loud this time of year!
Is there anything other than trade me or market place for use bikes and parts in nz?
Store is 100% out of stock, only donate button works,,,
how do you like the gran compe's?
Decent hubs for sure, nice and simple, sealed bearings and they come in all sorts of colours. I’d definitely recommend
@@waveywheelies I'm curious as to how long are the spoke size? I kinda have the same rim depth I just wanna know the spoke size.

fujis are sick and since they are not njs, they aren't expensive in mainland europe at least
What WALD basket size is that? 137 or 139??? I want to put a basket on my Fuji track SS too.
HOW MUCH DOES WEIGHT?
That's a beater bike? 💀💀💀
Every component you used is really nice except for the bottom bracket. Loose ball bearing BBs are pure dogshit, even the NJS ones. Do yourself a massive favour and replace it with a Tange BB.
