When I was a young kid, there was a woman living over the road called Stella. Her daughter, Lisa married a man called Neil Armstrong. But he wasn't the real Neil Armstrong. He was just a man with the same name. He hasn't actually been to the moon. They named their first son Louis.
Great interview and explanation. Makes me even less convinced anyone has stepped on the moon or they were lucky as a cat with 9 lives when they did it 50 years ago.
They could launch you to the moon. Have you land on the moon, and return you safely back to Earth. You still woldn't believe the moon landing was real and claim it was all a VR optical illusion.
@@danielconway7190 Who do you think pays for NASA ? Cut out the fat and bloat and close that agency. It's a bureaucratic shitshow that can't manage a budget or produce results.
Great to see you ready to fly Peregrine. Godspeed Astrobotic
Great info, Will! Fingers crossed that all goes according to plan!
Thank you!
@@SpaceflightNowVideo you're very welcome! ☺️
Haha this comment aged like fine wine
Beautiful blue engined first launch with a lot to look forward to !

Truly excellent piece. One of the best I've seen on this mission - thank you!
A great step to take. Back to the Moon , awesome. Triple X
Enjoyed the history and the presentation...a very exciting lunar project. 🌛🌝🌚🌜
Congratulations from India 🇮🇳🎉

Is this the one with mr beasts hard drive?
The long arm is broken 😕 and the engineer still thrustrated 😢 since the panels are warming up again
Will Robinson Smith !! Are you "Lost in Space". ??Cmon Penny help him find his way.
Woot woot... looks pretty neat. The Moon is a nice place to visit, but has no atmosphere. ;)
That's my dad joke.
What is the camera you'll be sending pictures from? Will it be in the IRIS rover? What are the specifications?
Adobe photoshop pro.
exciting!
Well, is anyone gonna deliver the bad news
This isn't a manned flight is it?
No. They wouldnt send a manned mission after not being there for 50 years.
But there are plans.
I don't get. Is it commercial lander or NASA's?
A commercially developed and operated lander funded by a NASA contract. Think of NASA like their customer, buying the mission from them.
Just like SpaceX.
Good
Expect good progress in NASA's space program
So, DHL is shipping to the moon now!! Woah! :D
GO! 👍
Danger, Will Robinson
Its the cutest little toaster
Well this is aging like milk.
cant wait to see the cgi they create to simulate the landing. Will probably look like the animation in this video.
WILL ROBINSON DR SMITH reporting for nasa 😂😂😂😂😂🎉
I know right?
😂😂😂
❤❤❤❤❤
Why are there no moon bases? What a joke.
Have you gotten your raise?
wooow
omg wow 🤩🥰😘
Are we in a new space race? Sure feels like, though nobody seems to be saying that.
I got a notice FWIW
:(
50 years ago we could put men on the moon .. now hopefully we can get to drive an RC Shoe Box on the surface. De-fund NASA and privatize all of it.
Who do you think is paying for all of the privatization...

This certainly is exciting! It's almost as if we are going to the moon for the first time.
Well it failed
Looks like another pile of scrap waiting to litter the lunar surface as it flops on impact.
😂😂😂😂😂
lol. Total fail. Waste of a perfectly good Vulcan rocket.
😂😂😂
Ah Yes, DHL and aStRoBoTiCS. Totally not US military.
cant even get near the moon in 2024😂 how did they manage in the 60s
We spent a lot more money back then.
Today, it's a shoe string budget.
16 yrs hopefully they will get off the ground
Lot of failures, especially with spacex... problem of plenty of money and low skill levels... 60s knowledge and should have mastered by now
And what are these numerous failures by SpaceX exactly? I don't see any other launch providers landing their boosters on a regular basis
😂 lots of failure with spacex? You might be trippin with boeing
Got fruck up by a Chinese bird? 😂
build the next one with your eyes OPEN .... asshles
Okay that gave me an audible LOL!
Copying chandrayan 3 . Copycat
All landers look pretty much similar to each other.
