Orlando had some random lineups/rosters during the period in between Shaq's departure (also when Penny became more injury prone and began to miss lots of games) and McGrady arrival.
If those guys including Grant were 5-6 years younger that Magic team would've been probably a #4 seed that season. Unfortunately everyone was past their prime by then.
Horace Grant is incredibly underrated. He's one of those players who if there was a hall of fame for players who were really really good but not quite* good enough for the Naismith HoF he'd be in there, along with guys like Rik Smits, Danny Manning, Mark Price, Detlef Schrempf, etc.
