As a female who had short hair for years I find these videos really fun to watch, I think long hair on guys is super cool and I wish more people did that.
I work in a dangerous environment for men with long hair so a man bun is a necessity that literally protects my life. so, my question is, how does this not have a million views?

Heck, thanks. All the manbun guides were for "short" hair. And I had kinda figured a lot of this out, I was just missing the second band. Without this technique it's still a massive pile of hair even in the bun.
Brilliant! Got a undercut today and needed to find a way to tie a tighter bun to look less feminine. The 'trick' with pulling the hair in opposite directions after placing the hair tie is brilliant, and I'm gonna use it on this bun and in other ways. Thank you so much!!!!
I used to do the "tie back, then twist" method, but now I just twist up, wraparound, then put the hair ties in. I always tie it up with two ties after the wraparound because for me personally, it holds the hair better.
I can recommend using a double ended knitting needle instead of two hair ties. Or a couple or hair pins (u shaped). I find it much easier than using a hair tie. Perfect for when your at home just chilling.

Since I began growing my hair (13 years old, had to cut it to shoulder length at 16, I'm not 23), I have not had any reason to tie my hair in anything other than a basic ponytail, to keep the wind from blowing it into my face. But now that I'm starting work in a hospital, I need to tie my hair up (ain't no chance I'm cutting it, I ain't letting scissors near my luscious locks) and I've tried many tutorials. All of them are for men with shoulder-length hair, or shaved sides, which is not what I need. I see the thumbnail of the cool lookin' dude with hair down to his belly, and I knew that this was the style for me. I've managed to do it myself, got it nice and tight (just how I like it [both literally and innuendo-ally]), and I managed to do it pretty quickly. Perfect video!

finally a tutorial for people with truly long hair. Most of them have been for guys with hair a good 6 inches shorter than mine and when i tried them they never worked out due to how much longer my hair was.
I started growing my hair out about a year and a half ago. Once it was long enough to pull back and actually get it off my neck when I was at work I was set. I too... Kinda hated shopping the women's section for ties and stuff. Also,I broke them every other day when tying my hair back because I have very thick hair so they have to be tight. I have two sets of these dudes hair ties for guys and I'm telling ya... They're amazing. Bracelet when you are letting it roam free, and a sick tie that feels unbreakable and keeps my hair back / up better than anything I've ever tried. Seriously these guys have made some sweet products for us manly men 👍

Right? Man-bun is stupid. I don't use a man-brush, clean my hair with man-shampoo, etc. It's a bun. It was named after a bread product it sort of resembles. Why does it need a new name just because a man is wearing it instead of a woman?

@@dutchik5107 "women shampoo" describes anything that's not 5in1 ahampoo/conditioner/body lotion/aftershave/mouthwash all in one product. If your hair is constantly frizzy- are you using conditioner? If no- start If yes- try oilier conditioner (you'll just have to test them out,). I mostly use repair shampoos, and in winter I got conditioner for curly hair just to get that extra moisture to combat frizz.

I have like 6 different anti knit/shine/anti frizz at the moment. They all work against the frizz. Until i start moving my head at a pace faster than 3 km/h.. After 15 minutes it is really frizzy. And after an hour it is like i never put the sprays/oils in at all. Just nothing works. I am like spending a hell lot of money on different hair masks now. So you can't say i am not trying. And in summer i put an extra hair sun screen oil in it. Obviously.
I hated when people call my buns man buns, man bun is for some of those douches that have long hair on top and cropped sides and their hair is only 4-6 inches long. Real long hair need hair ties and headbands and brushes. A bun is a bun and a ponytail is a ponytail damnit.

I love that you took the masculine, casual, Brock O'Hurn style that a manbun is supposed to be, and then tried to man it up by turning it into a carefully placed chignon. Naming a furry oval on your head a "highball" doesn't make anyone think of a classy drink. That's not the man's ball that will come to mind. I'd consider another rebrand, and maybe a few less twists.

I love that you took the masculine, casual, Brock O'Hurn style that a manbun is supposed to be, and then tried to man it up by turning it into a carefully placed chignon. Naming a furry oval on your head a "highball" doesn't make anyone think of a classy drink. That's not the man's ball that will come to mind. I'd consider another rebrand, and maybe a few less twists.

I just found this channel and love it my wife is nagging me about my long hair constantly telling me to cut it not gonna happen though! I guess it’s time to learn to do this stuff so I don’t have to hear her nagging lol. My hair is probably at least the same length as this guys or longer.
