Your training is top notch! Understandable and easy to follow. Since the training for some of these platforms are not so great you come to the rescue. I have been shopping on Instacart for the last nine months and loving it due to your training 😊
Thank you for the kind words. I am glad you find it helpful. There is much more to come.
This video was so helpful. I signed up to be a shopper but really nervous because I still felt like I wouldn't know what to do.
I love how this video breaks it down!
Thank you so much
Thank you. It's really not that hard. You are welcome to call me if you would like. I go around the country helping people win in this industry.
@@Drivetowin13 hi, when are you coming to Staten Island in NY? And is there a fee and if so how much?
Job well done. I've watched numerous videos for Instacart, you are definitely thorough and patient. There was only 1 other that I learned alot from. I have subscribed to you channel and look forward to future videos. Thank you so much!!!
You are welcome I am glad my videos help.
What a blessing. Simply watching the Instacart Tutorials, I was left feeling uncertain as to how to handle the various scenarios you covered. Thank you for taking me step by step through the shopping and delivery process.
You are welcome. I am glad it helped.
I just watched your video, and it was very informational. I enjoyed seeing you do a complete walk through with the shopping/delivery person. You took them step by step on the full process. I like how the app walks you through situations such as having to pick replacements, and communicating back with the customer... great video
I have found this to be the best way to help people be successful in this business. I usually spend several days with people to really get them started off on the right foot. Thank you for watching.
Thank you 😊, I learned something new ! Been doing Instacart for 4 months in Phoenix lol I thank the most high for your video pop up
I am glad it was helpful to you.
This was so helpful! I subscribed and liked. I am just getting started with my side hustle. Waiting on my welcome package. If you are ever in Ohio, it would be so awesome to have you train my wife and myself. Keep up the great content!
I am up north right now and have Arizona, Texas, Florida and Michigan on my list for the summer but if I get enough need in Ohio I'll definitely keep you in mind. If you can send me an email I'll keep you up to date on what I'm doing.
Amazing video! Finally all my questions answered! Very thourough! Thank you!

A true recipe for success for an IC shopper. Excellent attention to detail. 👍🌞
Thank you. To be a good shopper you absolutely need to have good attention to detail.
You are fantastic at teaching! Thank you!
Thank you!
Hi Leutenant Jason 😅 We still don't have Instacart in the U.K. Thanks for your videos. It helped me no end when starting with Uber Eats. I have now clocked over 4000 deliveries since June 2020
Hopefully instacart will come to the UK soon. If so I'll come over and help you learn it🙂
Extremely helpful video! You have calmed my nerves for my first batch. Thank you so much!!!
Thank you. Now go out and find a small batch, don't worry about making a bunch of money on it, just get a small one and do it.

@Latesha Frazier Great job. That is a ton of miles and not normal. Now go take a few more small orders to get used to it. The more you do, the easier it will get.
Great tutorial
Great informative video! So many of the questions I had, were answered when I watched this.
That's awesome! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
I didn’t hear you mention it but remember to have the shoppers check the expiration dates 🙂. Great job overall!

👍👍👍, Welcome back Jason! haven't posted any videos for a while! hopefully everything is going great with you!
Yes I bought a 33 foot motorhome and have been traveling around the country the last 6 months helping new drivers get into this industry. It has been quite an adventure.
@@Drivetowin13 Congrats on the motorhome and I'm happy to hear that! for now I'm just doing Uber eats bc it is my bread and butter in my market, still have instacart thu and DD!
Go where the money is at. I have been taking advantage of all the promos on the different platforms so I am doing a good mix of them all. It is very interesting how different cities are different when it comes to which platforms are busy.
Great video…Fins Up 🐬

Excellent video. I'm so glad I watched.
I am so glad you watched as well.
I am brand new and this was so refreshing to see him explain everything I have already been doing. Still got a 4 star though and that was after doing my very best on two orders that had no refund/replacements needed and I was on time. 😒
Yes it happens I got a 1 star last week because a customer said I got the wrong crackers. I remember the crackers and it was exactly what they ordered I scanned the item as well. Some people are just horrible people.

Great video!! I wish I had seen your video before I did my first instacart shop!!! My first was a disaster. I was nervous, my screen was blinking during check out during cashier scanning bar codes, instacart card problems, could not find live help online (they were experiecing high call volmne), and I was LATE delivering the order. @@Drivetowin13 We'll, I finally did it. After watching your video this morning, I decided to not over think and when one batch (from FiveBelow) came to my attention, I just accepted it. While in the store, I memorized what you did and when there were 2 "not found" items, I did exactly what you suggested and it worked out great!!!
Once again, your video gave me that extra boost of confidence and I am so appreciative of you taking your time to post a video on this.
God Bless!!!!
@@vp2365 I love it!
@@Drivetowin13 Sorry. I do have a question. Suppose I accept an order and the store is about 5 miles away and I got stuck in traffic. By the time I got to the store let's say 40 minutes later and I "Start Shopping". Will that be held against me?
@@vp2365 Yes you will get a warning to start the shop at 30 minutes then a final warning at 45 then it will auto cancel and count against you cancel rate. If your cancel rate is above 15% you will be deactivated. My cancel rate is around 3% as I very rarely accept an order and cancel it. The only time I do is if I quickly accept a $75 order only to find out it is for 20 cases of water to a 3rd story apartment or something like that. I don't recommend accepting order with a lot of drive time to the store. Does that make sense?
Excellent vid thx
Thank you
Let’s go !! Learn a few tips
It was good to meet you Ander! Let's make some money!

This by far was the BEST tutorial for IC. I've done thousands of deliveries for Uber eats and IC was a bit of a challenge to figure out. I'm still trying to figure out changing the default nav as I dont like Google maps. I cant figure that out to save my life.
They used to have an option to use a different nav but I can't find it either.
HI Jason, I am a new shopper, havent even taken my first job yet as I wanted to get familiar with the app processes. I really enjoyed the details you gave and feel like you had some great tips in there, especially about using the hand cart inside the main cart for a double batch. I also wasn't aware of the timers for how long and when you go overtime.... that's important to know. I have one constructive comment that hopefully you can use going forward - when you are in the grocery store and using the phone camera to show us a department such as produce, please understand that when you whip the phone thru from one side to the other, our eyes spin and stomachs turn from the fast motion. Other than that, Im looking forward to watching more of your videos and learning more great tips and tricks ( loved the "dont take unless payment matches order amount"!) Thanks again!!🛒💰😀
Thank you. The biggest issue with filming in store is I have to do it quickly because if employees see me filming the manager comes and kicks me out because they don't alow filming in store. Because it was in the middle of a live shop I could not afford to be kicked out especially since it was her first order so finishing it on her own would not have been great for her.
Thank you so much for your video; it has helped me a lot.Today, I did my first instacart batch, and it almost made me want to give up. The store was missing a lot of items and I was able to chat with the customer for exchanges but I had the hardest time replacing them on the app, also my signal was very poor in the store which made it very difficult and time consuming.
I am glad it helped. Yes it can be challenging when starting out for sure but the more you do it the easier it becomes.
wow Very Good explanation
I'm glad it helped.
@@Drivetowin13 yes! thanks!
Hey Jason thanks for your tutorial, very informative! Question: when I am using my app in the stores and in my car I use data. I have a limited amount in my cell phone plan. How do I get around this? Thanks!
Jeff I have the absolute best solution for you. I currently pay $25/month and get unlimited everything including unthrottled data. Send me an email and I'll get you the info.
Hay!
New just started watching your channel and have to say yours is the most informative. I was just wondering when you get an order an you have to use the card can you go to self checkout?
Thanks for your help.
Have a great day
Dorothy
Costco you are not aloud to use self checkout. If you are in a regular grocery store and have a small order you can use self checkout unless stated in the app. I usually just go through a regular cashier.
@@Drivetowin13 Thanks 😊
Very helpful, I live in rule area with 5,000 population
Send me an email. I have a very good strategy that will help you a TON!
Great video!! Do you scan the replacement items ? If they want a replacement
Yes replacements are scanned.
Thank you for this video it's help a lot of new shopper but i have a question i live in NYC and most of the store doesn't have the aisle numbers . What do you recommend me to shop fast. Thank you ❤
Focus on learning the stores. Pick a couple and take orders. You will learn the store pretty quickly.
Thank you so much it was very helpful let me know when you come to Seminole County area florida
You are welcome. I am planning on being back in Florida in September so stay in touch and remember set a goal and beat that goal.
@@Drivetowin13 ok I will
Great instructional video! I'm going out for the first time right now. Question - why do you say that you don't take a batch if the number of items is more than the payout? Like 29 items, $18.79 payout?
29 items will take you an hour with drive time. You'll make $19. I do this to make $30/hr min
Hi! Your video was very informative and I appreciate you sharing it with all of us! However, I have a question about checking out. How would we know if it is an online order or not? How do we know if we need to use the green card? Does the barcode tell you? I still seem confused on that part. Thank you!
The screen will tell you if it as online order.
This video was helpful I wanted to know though do you know anything that's really good to hold the phone and maybe even something that I could wrap around my body that would actually hold the phone as well while I'm shopping or anything like that while I'm filming at the same time❤
I've actually tried several different options for this, but honestly, when it comes down to it, you are moving and using your phone the entire time, so I never found anything that wasn't difficult to use.
Hi new to the channel and thanks for the informative information that you gave, I'm starting instacart soon, and was wondering when I'm checking out and using the card that was provided what if its debt it transaction, is there a pin provided ? or do I use credit.
Great question. The app will tell you if it is debit or credit if it is debit the pin is 5454
What do you do when you lose cell phone coverage in the store or going to it? On DoorDash you can lose a connection and sometimes it shows that you unassigned a delivery. What carrier do you use? I had issues with Mint Mobile dropping out around town which uses T-Mobile, I won't be using that again. I'm thinking Verizon or AT&T. How much Data do you need a month ? Unlimited? Thanks for any help.
I have the absolute best phone service that is unlimited everything including unthrottled data and it only costs me $25/month if you send me an email I'll send you the info. As for coverage issues in a store there are times that you may need to walk outside or to the front of the store. Another option is connecting to the stores wifi if available. Again send me an email and I'll give you the info for the best cell service I've found.
Hey Jason. Great tutorial. Question…
I just started Instacart in NJ where both plastic and paper bags are outlawed. 🤬 How should I deal with this at checkout and delivery? Just pile up the items on the porch? Hand them to the customer one at a time? Hand them my insulated bags and wait for them to empty them? It’s a nightmare. 😢 Please advise. Thank you.
I had to deal with the same issue in Hawaii and what I did was purchase reusable bags and collected boxes at Costco and then at the end of each shop I texted the customer to let them know there are no bags and then asked them where they would like me to stack their groceries.
Also sorry if this has already been asked- if you do a shop at Costco, do you use your own memenership card, or is the customer's membership card involved?
Good question. Instacart provides you a membership to be an to ship this provided card may be the customers member number or an instacart number for non members but either way it will be on your screen
I am in NY and we don't have plastic bags. Is there a way to add paper bags or do we just use our own bags then when we get to the door, just leave them and take a picture? Or does the app say customer wishes to have paper bags?
If there are local requirements for bag use, then the app will direct you to do what is appropriate.
Do weigh produce when you scan it in (apples and bananas)? I seen a video where someone said its a waste of time🤔
You absolutely want to weigh the items the reason why is because the app will communicate with the system to match up the amounts on the receipt and if they are off your account can be audited and if there are lots of discrepancies you can get in trouble. Also if you cashier forgets to scan an item then it goes the other way. Does that make sense?
Hi Jason I just recieved my InstaCart debit card and will start tomorrow. Now that the stores don't give bags do I need to purchase my own bags.
I responded to your email about this but to answer your question here for others. You will never need to purchase your own bags as long as the store has bags available. Some stores do not have any bags at all available (like in Hawaii) in that case I would take boxes with you to be able to deliver the groceries with ease. I usually get extra boxes at Costco in these cases.
Hey sir, checkout question if I have 2 orders I have separated in my cart upon checkout, they are both pay with card, does the whole shopping cart get scanned together or do i do that separately? I need more help with the complete checkout procedure, who separates the grocery into the 2 orders after the market scans them for purchase?
You will be responsible for keeping everything separate. I recommend just using two carts to start out. When you arrive at checkout tell the cashier you have two orders.
@@Drivetowin13 thank you most kindly!
I was wondering on your decision to take orders that are approx $1 per item? Have you found that is advantageous? 2 $10 orders with approx 10 items each 2 different households and drive time VS 1 larger order with 35 items for $23. It seems that time wise expense wise that it's very close?
I wouldn't take a $10 order as it's not worth the drive time. I also wouldn't take a 35 item $23 order. I would need at least $35 on a 35 item order. The only reason to take a smaller order is for a bonus I'm going after or if I was just signing up and used a referral code and was just trying knock out orders....this week using my method I did 10 batches for $424 and only worked 10 hours. That's $42/hr.
Would we need to notify them that their order is at their door if they do choose “leave at door” or does the system do that once we take the picture?
Yes the customer receives a message from instacart along with the picture however sometimes customer request in the notes for you to leave it at the door but they select hand it to me in the app and in these cases I simply take a picture of their order in front of the door and message them that picture along with a messages saying "per the delivery notes I left your order at the door" . By doing this there is proof that the order was left.
Hi I wonder if you can just put the order in bags, for the online orders. I work a little for Shipt and we bag up the prepaid orders.
If I understand your question you are asking about the delivery part of the order. You have finished shopping for the customer and checked out I always have the orders bagged or boxed. I also do shipt and do the same thing on there. Does that answer you question or did misunderstand it?
@@Drivetowin13 No I mean we put them in a bag as we are shopping if it is prepaid online, I just wonder if instacart is like that
@@sindimarshall8029 oh gotcha. Instacart is different at checkout than shipt. Shipt just does an audit at the end of an online pay but Instacart you still have to checkout just like normal.
@@Drivetowin13 OK Thank you
Sorry if this has already been answered, but... how is checkout handled if you live in a location where stores charge for bags?
There is an option at checkout to add bags.
Hi I was thinking about becoming a shopper but I do not have a car. I know there is a option to just do the shooping. Would a person come and pick up the order once I am done shopping?
It is really hard to make money as a shopper only because you never get tips. The only way it is worth it is if maybe you work at the store and stick around after work to pick up orders but you most orders will pay $5 -$10
I guess that the tip ,find some one to help you gather items in the grocery store on your shopping trips,it will speed up the trip and minimize your time shopping. (Either your kids or wife, girl or boyfriend, good friend.)
Yes tag teaming with someone can be a great strategy. I do this quite often on larger orders and when helping a new shopper learn.
So when checking out, you pull up order A, select check out, and pay, then you pull up order B select checkout and pay? Separately. Right? Also, I noticed you have a bodycam. It's hard finding a good one, so I'm wondering what one you got, or which one you recommend?? Thanks! 😊
Yes that is correct you finish order A and pay then the app will direct you to start order B.
The camera I am wearing in this video is just a go pro and is only used to make this video I don't wear it for any other reason.
@@Drivetowin13 Oh, ok thanks. I've heard of people having problems with getting deactivated when customers claim they didn't get their order, even though they took pictures. So I thought a video recording would be better. As it would show you walking away from their porch and getting into your car without anything in your hands. Also, I'm wondering if we as independent contractors could just have the customers sign for their groceries. Sign something that says they received them? (At least for the ones who come to their door.)
So if you are to just leave it at the door do you message the customer and them you delivered or does the app do that on its own?
At the delivery you are given two options 1. Leave at the door 2. Hand to customer. If the customer selects that they want it handed to them then that is the only option that will be available if you select leave at the door then the app directs you to take a picture of the order and then the customer gets the picture. The customer may also leave notes like "please leave the order on the bench or please do not knock on the door"
Does that make sense?
Oops...forgot to ask something. If a customer adds cases of water and sodas can I cancel without getting dinged? I try not to get orders with cases of water and sodas. That's why I look at the items first. Also, when they add items, does your batch pay go up?Thanks
If you accept and order and then cancel it for any reason you will be "dinged" if you cancel 15% of your orders they will deactivate you. My cancel rate is at 5%
Also yes if items are added your pay will increase. I actually use that to my advantage and try and sell "hot" items during the shop
What stores besides Fry's in the Phoenix area or anywhere gives you the aisles for the product? Great, great information. Wish you could train me!😃
I will be back in Phoenix pretty soon and would be happy to meet up with you and show you all my tricks. I believe Frys and maybe Bashas but safeway does not. I primarily shop Costco.
@@Drivetowin13 Well, I'm actually moving to Oregon next month. I would like to learn Costco. Any training in Oregon? Thanks
@@marykrigbaum9021 I am actually in Idaho right now and may be here till January and my parents have a place on the coast so it's not out of the question.
@@Drivetowin13 Moving to Christmas Valley south of Bend.
@@marykrigbaum9021 Gotcha I assume there is no Costco there but if there is that is what you want to focus on. I made $100 today in about 1.5 hrs at Costco.
With the long line ups Can you use a self checkout
Good rule of thumb is to not use self check out however you can in some stores. If I am at a grocery store, paying with the instacart card and have a small amount of items I'll use self check out. Costco doesn't alow it and you can do it if it's online pay in a grocery store.
Why wouldn’t i use my reward number??? And where do I get this other reward number from where? To give to the cashier?
So basically if you are shopping at safeway you can't use your personal safeway to earn points because during the checkout process at surtain stores instacart has thier own reward number and it will be a part of the check out process on your screen. Does that make sense?
What happens when a customer states they did not receive an item yet it’s on your receipt. Should you take a pictures of each individual item at checkout?
No not at all. I just verify the items at drop off and try and place the items in the picture to show a majority of the items. I will get someone saying an item was missing probably 1 out of 50 deliveries. There really is nothing you can do unless you have proof but if it is not happening often don't worry about it and move on.
Whoa I didn’t know refunding items took away from your money😳
I won’t be doing that too much lol
The only time it doesn't is when the customer selects a fixed tip amount.
yes always been that way annoying
Hey! I’m going to be a new dasher in philly. Philly has this new law with plastic bags and a lot of store are not giving out plastic bags and you’re required to bring your own reusable bags, how does this work?? Does instacart know about the law in philly?Do I have to purchase my own bags everytime I do an order? Thanks for the video!
When laws change it may take a little bit of time for it to get into the system. When it is in there there is an option in check out to add bags. I would put some bags or small boxes in your car as backups just in case.
@@Drivetowin13 so with that option, do you just add the number of bags and then swipe your card and the customers just pays it through the app?
@@bubbles4096 Yes the app walks you through it at the time of checkout and it is all paid along with your transaction.
@@Drivetowin13 Thank you so much!
Hi I’m wondering about start to work without green card. Will it work to use iPhone to scan it? I wait for the mailing arrive this Saturday. I can get it to activate it. The service person told me can use my personal cc till green card arrive. But I read instructions said don’t use personal cc…
Help me Thank you…
I honestly would wait until you get the green card. Do not use your cc. You may be able to use apple pay but it doesn't work everywhere so I would just wait. They send the card pretty quickly
I am starting instacart today. I am confused about something. The app has demo orders and at checkout it shows that shopper has to print labels and place on bags? Is that accurate? Every video on here doesn't show that process of printing labels for bags. Can you clarify. Thank You!
James, The demo orders aren't great. No you do not have to print labels or anything like that. The best thing is to do a small (like 5 to 10 items) and try it out. I promise it's not as bad as you think it is in your head.
15:20 I did my first Instacart today. It was at a Meijer store. I picked a small order so not to be overwhelmed. For the most part everything went smooth until i went to check out. That barcode did not show up. I have watched several videos saying it should show up and the cashier scans it. It did not show up. The cashier said she had several Instacarts in that day where it did not. I swiped my green card and everything else worked fine. Has something been changed since this video was produced? Could have it been a glitch, or did i maybe do something wrong?
There are some stores that have no bar code to scan and even some types of orders will cause no barcode. Don't worry you did nothing wrong just follow the screen if a bar code comes up then scan it if it doesn't then don't worry about it
@@Drivetowin13 Thanks for the reply! That makes sense.
@@zudemaster You're welcome
Quick question when it says how many bags to charge customer what does that mean?
That is if you are in a pay for bags location. I usually try and bring boxes with me to eliminate those fees.
Hi sir I leave in New York I don't know why they give me new jerseys baches I m new I didn't yet any delivery so far
Instacart gives batches based on location but if there are no batches in your area then they give batches further away. The best thing to do is go to an area of town with a lot of stores and hang out there until you receive batches from those stores.
Say someone ordered their groceries from target but the location they want their products from is 25 minutes away from me but I have a closer target 5 minutes away. Would I be able to purchase their groceries at my closer location? Some people have said yes but Instacart said I would not be able to.
Most of the time this does not work. There are several reasons as to why the target was selected like miles away from the customer, stock levels and products specific to location. If you are shopping a store the store that is 30 minutes away then it messes up the delivery time that was selected by the customer. Does that make sense?
Can i select orders that are drop off at door only or I do find that out after completing a shopping trip?
No you can not select that however I would say 95% are drop off at door
@@Drivetowin13 Thanks. Just one more question. Do you have to ask management for every item that is out of stock that has no replacement option? I would think at a bigger store that would be time consuming.
@@susanf1566 No I do not ask on everything. If I am going to ask and if there are multiple items I can't find I'll wait and ask for then all at the same time.
Do you have to set up some sort of a PIN number to use your green card?
It is pre setup and is 5454
@@Drivetowin13 ... Really? Oh wow! Thank you very much! It says nothing about that in the envelope they sent the card in or anywhere in the app. I just wanted to double-check because my biggest fear is getting up to the cashier with all these groceries and then having the card not work. Thanks again for responding! 🙂
@@PlumbPitiful Most of the time it is the credit option but if you need to use the pin it's 5454. It will come up in the app at checkout and it is very clear
Was a victim of tip bait today. Had a large heavy order to Costco. A customer needed over 30 gallons of milk/chocolate milk for her business establishment. Upon delivery, I unloaded everything myself. After I left, minutes later I went in to check my total and customer modified the tip taking the entire tip away. I was nice. I asked nicely where they wanted their gallons of milk and let them know I was leaving after finishing up. This shouldnt be allowed
I have unfortunately experienced this as well but only once in 500 orders or so. It is a horrible thing for someone to do and I hope Karma gets them later. When this happens I recommend just putting it in the past and moving on. I am sorry this happened but tomorrows shops will be better.
Do you keep the receipt or do you give it to the customer?
You keep it. Some stores don't even give you one.
How do you do when have to pay for bags.
If you are in an area that requires bag purchase then there is an option at check to add bags
what are online orders and how do you know to tell the difference?
Online orders are just how you will pay. It will tell you at the beginning and at checkout. If it's online you just tell the cashier this is an online order and they do everything else. If it's pay with card you just follow the screen and Che out like normal then pay with your instacart card
I've noticed that some items end up in the refund section even though I found the item and paid for it. Has this ever happened to you and if so why?
I have never had that happen. The only way something goes to the refund section is if you select refund. I would report this to instacart so you don't get in trouble through an audit
Have customer's every got annoyed from receiving too many texts while shopping?
The customer has the option remove the texting feature. Most of the time they want to be contacted about issues. I would say maybe 5% don't and if they don't they just won't respond or they will have the option to receive texts removed.
@@Drivetowin13 That makes sense. Thanks.
I love your video step-by-step I just want to know what unit means?
Item is the item(apple, banana, milk etc) unit is the amount of a single item. So if you are to get 5 apples then that would be 1 item and 5 units. When picking your batch you want to decide off items
@@Drivetowin13 oh my gosh so today went to aldis. it said 11 items but 41 units? I came out with so much food why don’t they just say 41 items altogether I had 10 gallons of milk that I have to carry into a daycare up by myself. And more food! I still didn’t get a tip on that.
@@donnarobey272 You will find that there are some store to stay away from and Aldis is one of them.
Before you start the shop you can review the items to make sure there is nothing funky on it like 10 cases of water. What city do you shop in
@@Drivetowin13 Chicago and I did look at the items there was only 1 gallon of milk but when I started shopping it said 10 gallons of milk? What
@@donnarobey272 Hmm that's strange it should have a little 10 next to it if there is multiple. Also before you start the shop you can check the details and it will tell you everything.
If the customer selects for you to hand their order to them and they don’t answer the door, what do you do?
Great question. If they selected the option to hand the order to them there is a process in the app that says "if customer is not available" this goes through a process of contacting the customer through the system and then at the very end if they still aren't responding you will be put in contact with instacart customer service.
If the customer selects leave it at my door but writes in the instructions to hand it to them then you want to make every attempt to contact them through the system then start a chat and ask instacart to contact them they will then advise you from there
@@Drivetowin13 awesome thank you☺️
I tried instacart as a customer, ordered 2 items the shopper/driver got it wrong
Hopefully, you got a refund from instacart. The purpose of these videos is to help shoppers be the best they can be and give customers the best experience possible.
I think the main thing Im scared of is forgetting to tell the cashier that it's an online order BEFORE they start scanning the items. If you wait till it's time to pay to tell them, then they have to cancel and scan everything all over again right?
The app will tell you what to do and I promise as soon as you get to checkout you will see exactly what to do. Just get in the habit of always telling the cashiers you are doing instacart they will then ask if it is an online order
@@Drivetowin13 Thanks!
Nowadays you can forget that same amount of pay per item. It's $8.00 + no tip for 2 order batches with 50 items 18 miles away!!
Well Lisa I did just over $40/hr last week and did $178 on 5 batches today. I'm thinking you may be doing something wrong if those are the batches you're taking.
You are not taking into account all the tip baiting that has become common, you end up driving for only the batch lots of times.
Hmmm in the 2300 orders I've done all over the country I have only been tip baited twice. One of the two was absolutely a tip bait but the second I believe was a mistake.
Is she doing Instacart wearing a Shipt shirt??
Yes I was also showing her how to do her first shipt order that same day.
