Very true about being observant @ Costco. They move items around on purpose! What may usually be in the middle of an aisle is now on an end cap! Always look around!

Our Costco now opens at 10am. My day is usually done by 5pm. Orders disappear two quickly to look at anything more than the pay and which store and what town. We have about 4 Costcos within 20 miles so if you don't mind driving you can bounce around. Very competitive though
Yes all Costco's are back to normal times...I still get about $150-$200/ day out of Costco pretty easily
the bots have a monopoly on Costco batches in Orlando. You don't even see them in the queue unless they're absolute crap.
I was actually pretty successful with Costco in Orlando and Tampa but not so much in Miami.
Does Costco require that you pay with the physical green Instacart debit card or can I pay using the Apple Pay option on my phone within the app?
I don't remember which one Costco accepts (apple pay or samsung pay) but which ever it is you can use it rather than the green card

So I do text them throughout the shop, just as I would on any, but I very rarely get responses as they are probably asleep. The hardest part for me is deciding if I should ring the doorbell.

Costco scares me. It looks like a madhouse there in the morning but I do like the larger dollar amounts.
The most challenging thing is the amount of other shopper in the area all looking for the same large payout batches. Just be patient and you will get some big ones.
Any time a batch shows up on my app I don't even have a chance to accept a batch cause anytime they show they're immediately gone before I can even accept

The key at Costco is to have a fast index finger while sitting in the parking lot because the competition can be intense and good orders disappear in a flash.

@@joeselbach4857 getting tougher here because I think there are Bots out there that are taking the bigger orders. I made 175 plus a $10 tip today but I had to bust my ass and go out of my territory and do extra mileage just to make it
@@greglegakis4177 With everything opening back up there are less customers but all the shoppers havent gone back to their jobs yet so it definitely is a challenge right now.
You need to exploit the bumps to add to your profits.
Tip: Always ask customer when you deliver(if they're there) for a 5 star rating since Instacart says it helps you get better orders now, supposedly.

How do you make your app work 20 miles away? I would really like to know how to do that, mine only works close to my zip, please advise, I spend more time across town than I do at home
The app gives you orders based on demand if there are a ton of orders 20 miles away then they will send them out further and further. There must not be many order near you. I usually drive to the hot spots in my city and work all day then drive back home when im done with my day.

So as long as you have submitted your bag info you should be eligible for Costco orders. The other thing is Costco is very competitive right now and sometimes you gotta be right in the parking lot right as the open. All the good batches pile up over night and release in the AM.

How are you able to to choose so many badges at a time.? when I press start shopping on my app it only gives me 1 why is that
Batches are assigned based on location they also had been assigning the better batches to highly rated drivers but I believe that has been put on pause for now. If you are only getting one batch at a time then that might be all that's available. What market are you in?

@@markfriday1355 Do you have the physical pay card? I know that people who are doing this without that card are limited. You should be getting way more batches than that. I would try positioning yourself in the Costco parking lot early in the morning since they are opening up for instacart drivers at 6:00am
Yea yours is different. You have 4-5 batches available, mine just 1 and either I decline it or accept it. But if I decline 1-2 in a row I’ll have to wait 15-20 mins for the next available batch.

I just got approved to do instacart and I've yet to see any boosts or a customer who's paying anything close to $1/item. That'll be a NO for me!!
Have you done all the shopper learnings? Have you submitted your bag? By doing both of those things you will get more.
@@Drivetowin13 I've taken whatever quizzes or questionnaires they asked me to but really that was just for alcohol delivery. I haven't been prompted to submit a bag. Do they send me one in the mail? I'm still waiting for my card so I understand the only places I can shop will have to accept Google pay at this point.
I see what you mean now by the bag approval. I have to shop at least one batch first to be able to do that.
@@its_pouring_reign5422 Yes you won't see much of anything until you do all the learnings and get your bag submitted and get your card. Without all that stuff you will only see basic shops. I usually avg around $175-$250. I was pushing hard for these videos. Most days I am pretty wiped out for sure.
@@Drivetowin13 Where are you? (city, state). I killed it last week here on Long Island. Made around $1850 with cash tips in just under 40 active hours although it's more like 55 hours if you go by when I leave the house and when I get home. I even had one day where I made almost $300 on two batches which included $60 in cash tips. You also need to learn how to exploit the bumps especially if you're traveling out of area. I couldn't imagine doing a regular big grocery store where produce isn't pre-packaged and the an immense variety. It seems like it would take forever. I stick with Costco. Made $8500 in 6 weeks
