Pa Trout Fishing 2024 So Many Fish!

- Pa trout fishing licenses for the 2024 trout fishing season are expensive so I'm trying to catch as many trout as I can before stocked trout fishing season officially starts. I went creek fishing for trout in Pennsylvania and caught so many brown trout. Many creeks are closed until opening day of trout season, but there are plenty of creeks in Pennsylvania that have wild trout and are open to fishing year round.

even fishing on mono :) many people will say why not braid but when there is enough fish i think everything works
Thank god for the small unregulated tributary creeks. It’s such a madhouse on the stocked creeks when the season opens.
It's a madhouse at any creek with trout wild or stocked. I just always fish oddball days. Opening day is usually the only weekend I fish until people stop caring about trout.
That wasn't a bluegill... it was a sub species of sunfish I believe
yeah i paid $42.95 for my 2024 trout stamp and fishing license.
Nicely well done on catching these trout here.
👍🏻👍🏻
Same, except I paid a little more for the Lake Erie stamp lol
It will be well worth it. Tight lines this year Shawn!

Thank you
15-20 for that creek is amazing. They are typically very wary. But I've never fished it after a hard rain, so maybe that's the secret sauce.
Always after rains, but you have to fish it right away because it drains in hours.
damn you covered a lot of water, that’s quite the walk
It was a decent walk. I usually don't have time to fish that entire stretch.
You probably mentioned this before (or maybe in the video) but what size barbless hook were you using with the floating trout worm?
Size 6 aberdeen hooks I usually just buy the cheap ones and pinch the barbs myself if I'm fishing for wild trout.
@@EasternPaFishing Thanks!
Is that Henry ave in the background
$28 + $5 trout stamp in Connecticut
Worth it!
Save some fish for me also
