I realized you are quite a talented hobby modeler, which it seems to me is a lot more in the mechanical realm but you are obviously quite a creative and talented artist as well. My hat's off to you.

I still have that old 1960’s Revell 1/48 Mossie that I began building that I added a ton of scratch building to, but haven’t yet closed her up, because I wanted to illuminate all the areas with lights and drive the props with a couple of motors. So when I do take that break, that’ll be the one I’ll go back to… don’t like having unfinished business! My wife has gotten back into sculpture in the last three years and for my part I too am starting to do more painting - still life only at the moment but hopefully something more adventurous in the future - although every time I think about the hobbies Inseem to get more design work in the door, Sod's law I guess? Maybe when you’re retired like me, you’ll take the opportunity of more free time to pursue your painting? I have to attempt a still life, yet, but love landscapes and birds at the moment and the few attempts at wild animals, so far. Ruth bought me a professional large H-Frame easel for Christmas that can hold canvases up to 78” high and 84” wide!! So excited to start painting on a grander scale!
