The part where Edwards needs to grab the pigeon and Townsend is telling him to do it while Mcmanus is telling him not to it reminds me of the first scene in bf4, when Recker needs to shoot out the window and Dunn is telling him to while Irish is telling him not
THE Darebearius the mission is called fishing in baku it's the first mission, then you go back to the mission later in the game so you know how they all got there. (I think)
you call them boys I call them men they decided that they wouldn't be ruled by fear that they stepped forward with courage in their hearts with the strength of their brothers beside them marching into hell not as a single man but as a company of Brothers willing to sacrifice everything who don't want a reward
Matteo really stuck me in the hardest way. I don’t know why but since I have an older brother I couldn’t imagine the pain brothers had to go through during war. When he said “he never got older” I broke down
I'm calling it now, that german that jumps off with them at 3:22 is going to get some kind of DLC campaign chapter that takes place at the same time but from a different perspective
3:20 was my favourite moment because they literally both were fight 10 seconds before hand but just stop as they see the blimp come crashing onto the one they're on
I love the war stories but the ones that hit me the most was the tank one and the runner, cause Edward was young and had many life left but what war does is suck life out of you into despair, all those men fighting for a cause, to end nothing. It's sad how many people disrespect some flags but imagine the people over 1 million men died in this war, every person had a life you think of that and don't think of the people behind it, but sometimes you need war, like the nazis killing people who didn't look like them, they needed to be stopped but there was people brave enough to go and fight for there homes, imagine if you were watching people being killed say you watched your friend right next to you get brown up, how would you feel, would you look down at your hands like Edward and try to imagine what life was like before the war, I'm grateful for the men that served in this war
Brother in arms is what my grear great great grandfather used to tell me when i was a kid he had used to tell me stories about the war. He an three best friends all signed up for the army. Out of all three of them he came back one friend throw himself on a grenade saving him an his other friend. The next friend was sadly shot in the head he carried the dog tags an was buried with them men like him pass down there stories for good reason to let us know there sacrifices they made
Herobrine Witherbrine I think angle he was shot he was hit in the spleen that is not instantaneous at that point but you can dive fairly quickly because there are several organs near that could have been damaged from the round going through so it was most likely he either die from Blue on Blue or he died from blood loss you're having 16-inch guns open up on that for it the average explosive range of a 16 inch gun is a 50 foot Killzone they fired all barrels so I would say it's safe to assume he was killed
This game really shows how much death and destruction there was and how many people suffered the ultimate fate and how not just the American suffered but everyone from British to Australians and it shows how brutal the World wars were
I like to think the guy Bishop was looking after indirectly caused Bishop's death, as the crews aboard the ships could of thought the flare meant "Commence bombardment."
This is so disrespectful all these dabbing jokes and people saying it's just a game well I have some news for you. This game is based off of true stories battles and deaths so what kind of person are you to laugh at a guy who fought for you and died....I don't see you running into that battle and doing what these people did
Whoever that Pilot Brit was, he is basically the only 2 dimensional character in the campaign. Dice has never been good at making campaigns and I wouldn't blame them if they just stopped. Or hired new writers. Either or.
We gotta give praise to EVERYONE who died in these clips. This includes all the characters, all the German soldiers, Ottoman soldiers, Austro Hungarian soldiers, etc. If people know their history. There was no bad guy in ww1. So, I salute every single person who died in these clips and I salute everyone who served, fought, and died in the actual conflict
The Gaming Fascist World War 1 was quite a modern war. It was the first modern war to touch the planet. But like I said, there was no bad guy in ww1. Only nations having high tensions between each other since the ending of the Napoleonic Wars and that one assassination was the excuse to trigger this pointless and brutal war that killed off 17 million people.
Surenk 1357 there were no bad guys, but the violence was terrible, that you cant deny, many soldiers, no wonder that many soldiers who came back had ptsd
Saddest Endings in order (my opinion) 1. The Runner 2. Avanti Sovolia 3. Through Mud and Blood 4. Storm of Steel 5. Nothing is Written 5. Friends in High Places
The akward moment for Me was when i realised that i have been in the same place as the Matteo story. How do i know. Because everybody talked about a Big battle there during WW1 Still Sad though
TenzinPlays at what point were you trapped in a valley where the mountain was detonated causing a massive landslide with millions of pounds of shrapnel of rock and machine-gun fire from Planes to have a man of iron come down to look for the body please explain to me of how your life is similar to what happened
All these people saying shit about dabbing at 0:05 is really starting to get on my nerves. People he did not dab he was just coughing from a smoking tank. Stop being disrespectful to the veterans in this brutal war. Millions of young men died and your making jokes about dabbing..despicable
Natsu Dragneel I hate it as much as you do, but I do not see how they are being disrespectful to veterans during that era. Those posts weren't devaluing their efforts during the war, nor did they make fun of any of their deaths. All they did was joke about that particular animation.
Battlefield is what really drew me in to world war and the history behind it. In school I’m learning about it and I’m really interested in it. All because of bf1
3:24 I sometimes like to wonder what happened to that German soldier, he clearly made it off the blimp and Blackburn survived the fall so maybe he did too
Just finished “The Runner” Bishop went up there and died for nothing But at least Foster survived. It was good to see that he was actually willing to risk his life and storm an entire fort on his own to ensure Foster’s safety.
Bishop was literally a supersoldier.Took a fort on his own, saved 10-30 soldiers, gave his life to save more, fought in gallepoli, and died looking into a sunset
They should have also had a story about a german courier delivering messages, having nobody on your side that really liked you, and near the end, a huge firefight starts, then all of a sudden a cutscene with you choking on mustard gas, watching your allies die by gas and gunfire, then in the end you wake up in a hospital finding out that you have lost the war, you throw a huge fit in first person, then a weeks later, there is another cutscene where you see yourself in the mirror, talking about the treaty of versille, end up shaving your mustache off, except for the little part in the middle, and have the player find out that you were playing as hitler.
It's very interesting to hear all of this if true, as an Aussie we didn't take the Germans on as much so London being attacked wasn't taught a whole lot either in school
The first guy's death always makes me laugh for some reason. Just like, he's down but still living, so maybe he can be saved, BUT NOPE. Gunfire just mows him down, right then and there. Lmfao.
In short: BF1 had one of the best campaigns and BFV was disappointing failure Battlefield 1 had by far the best campaigns perfectly depicting WW1 with its war stories, also educating me of the battle of the Wars. the music soundtrack, characters, and plot points really touched and impacted me, even got me interested in WW1. Seeing it now, Battlefield 5 was such a great disappointment with its shitty campaign, DICE AND EA had such potential to cover WW2 a great conflict with great war stories about the war, but no, instead we got shitty war stories with ASS characters, such potential lost on a great conflict.
Let's be honest, Through Mud and Blood is WW1's Fury.
The Zachvolt I'm sure it is and I like it for that.
The Zachvolt indeed
The Zachvolt yes
Yep
Which one is that again?
The part where Edwards needs to grab the pigeon and Townsend is telling him to do it while Mcmanus is telling him not to it reminds me of the first scene in bf4, when Recker needs to shoot out the window and Dunn is telling him to while Irish is telling him not
THE Darebearius Yeah but I was missing a Bonnie Tyler song from this scene
THE Darebearius the mission is called fishing in baku it's the first mission, then you go back to the mission later in the game so you know how they all got there.
(I think)
I thought I was the only one thinking about that
its actually so sad seeing all these innocents kids getting killed for nothing, especially the boys in through mud and blood...:(
***** agreed
Most Brits that fought in WW1 joined voluntarily, a lot were actually excited till mid war.
you call them boys I call them men they decided that they wouldn't be ruled by fear that they stepped forward with courage in their hearts with the strength of their brothers beside them marching into hell not as a single man but as a company of Brothers willing to sacrifice everything who don't want a reward

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE RUNNER, BUT AVANTI SAVOIA IS THE GREATEST STORY FOR ME
