The easy way we potty train our puppies

- See how and why we move our puppies to certain types of pens at certain stages of potty training. Learn how we use this to potty train our puppies as young as two-weeks-old. Up until this point (3 weeks, 2 days), they lived in our bedroom. We have been potty training them for over a week now. Their eyes and ears have opened, and they are now ready to advance out of our bedroom and into a brighter, noisier, busier part of the house. However, before putting them in the middle of the chaos, we first tuck them in a corner behind some furniture so they can observe the house routine from the security of their enclosed space. Over time we expand the pen as we continue to potty train, and after a couple of weeks we move them into the main part of our home - which sees all of the traffic in our home!

Robin is one of our beloved (blenheim) Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Robin delivered her second litter of puppies on September 15, 2022. Robin's litter is all blenheim.
Unlike most animal livestreams, we encourage our viewers to engage and ask us questions! We raise our puppies not just in our home, but instead where we are spending most of our time that they are developmentally ready for. Our young puppies, for example, are currently located in our bedroom. We leave the audio on so that viewers are always able to hear the puppies' adorable squeaks, purrs, "barks," howls, and more, but that means you may overhear some personal interactions. We prefer this format because we are able to easily provide context or clarity to viewers if necessary. We show you how we potty train our puppies starting as early as a week old, and how we nurture their training throughout their 8 weeks with us to hand off a well-trained puppy to their family.

It’s pelletized pine (for farm animal bedding). You can find it at stores like Blain’s Farm and Fleet, Tractor Supply, and Big R. The pan is a rabbit hutch pan, specifically made by DuMor. The other brand pans are too slippery.
