I absolutely love your solution to a window that won't go up!! I tried it on Saturday, but I accidentally burned two holes through the duck plastic. So, omw down the road, doing 40 mph, those holes that I covered with clear packing tape just burst open. So, I watched you do it again (probably my 5th time watching the video) the next day, before the rain was coming. This time, I didn't burn a single whole in it. I got all of the wrinkles out of duck plastic and I drove after, at a highest speed of 50 mph. The temporary window, which is the driver's window, held beautifully. When I look out of it, it's like a really clean and clear window. My tape isn't as nicely done as yours, on the outside, but it's not bad. It rained all night and now we're having downpours. There is not a single drop of rain inside. Thank you, thank you, for putting out such a great video!!!

Great idea. I ended up finding a 3M version at the hardware store. Same clear plastic shrink wrap stuff but it says “outdoor” on the box. Maybe stronger plastic? It worked great!
For the door windows, while that clear plastic is great for unobstructed vision, is it sturdy enough not to let heavy rain in the car like one of those heavy black garbage bags?

All articles I read online with the trash bag method always said to do it from the inside of the car...so I did, lol. And in looking at it, I was miffed on how that's supposed to keep moisture out (none of the articles have pictures to actually show what they're doing). But I was too angry at needing so spend yet more money on fixing up this old car, waited until nightfall to avoid the Alabama sun (yes, even here in the fall), and avoiding drawing too much attention to myself. If not after work today, on my day off on Tuesday, I'll try to find this window dressing pack so I'll be able to see out my back-right window. Thank you!
