Single mothers raising children on their own with little or no help from the fathers will always get my praise no matter what, as a dad this was refreshing to watch, this man is a great dad and an excellent male role model for his daughter…being a dad is more than just a title and comes with great responsibilities regardless of whether or not you are with your child’s mother.

I love the interview. So nice to see a man being a devoted father. The reason women get the feelings of hurting themselves or the child is because they still have a lot of hormones running through their body. They call it postpartum depression.

      @ComeOnSonStopIt 4 місяці тому +1

I do believe $300 a month ain’t much for child support. I do agree with that, however paying ya whole rent? That’s out 😂. I think $500 - $700 a month is more than enough. Especially if there is 50/50 custody. Now if the father ain’t grabbing the lil one enough and the lil man ain’t got his own at dads then that’s a different problem.

Every interview where she discusses her child is disturbing. She is miserable after having a child and blames the father. She doesn’t hold herself accountable as to how she became a single parent. And to say you have days where you want your kill your child is disgusting. She needs therapy asap and her child will grow up to feel this disdain she has for the child as if it’s the child’s fault she can’t be free.

So if someone says it’s hard they’re a bad parent? SMH

@@tacosnshawarmayou should watch this video/ or some of your others where your kid is mentioned as it relates to what’s not fair/ how it feels/ the burdens etc ., from a third person perspective like it’s not your life and child …and think about your views and standpoints from outside perspective. Your kid not wanting for anything means money is fine. But it doesn’t speak to your emotional connection or lack of with ur baby. I’m not judging. I’ve watched a bunch of ur content and ur smart and witty and logical af. But the selfish energy we have as kids or young adults has to change when we have a kid. On purpose or accident. In a relationship or as a single parent. Blaming the bd or wanting it to be fair financially is one thing but when ur videos are ranting at times about men should this if they make a woman a single parent etc… it seems like you’ve lost the gratitude of having this life form love you and look up to u so much for everything. And money compensation seems to be a huge validation that ur seeking .. but kids pick up on that shit and this stuff you’re posting will live online forever. At some point your kid could misconstrue what you’re saying against the dad / in favor of what you deserve as you not wanting to be his mom ( your child) or not being happy that you have him. Or since it ain’t a fair financial situation that you’ve lost sight of the love to and from ur kid and have hyper focused on the money. If you saw these like it wasn’t you you were hearing you might judge yourself differently. Or try listing like you are your son but as a teenager. Imagine him having a bad day and hearing a few of these pods about how shitty he’s made ur life. I’m sure u don’t mean it that way. And ur also making content and have to stir the pot. But at/for ur son’s sake maybe look at it from the outside and see why your words could be hurtful

I totally agree I feel like this kid is nothing but a burden to her it’s such a shame she seems more attached to financial gain . It’s not wonder this child has tantrums like she says he’s probably crying out for her attention but she would rather pay a NANNIE so she can go out and earn money which will always be there after her child’s early years that she can’t get back. I prayer she finds her way 😢

My mom is a paraplegic in a wheelchair and raised all 4 of us kids in her own, after our dad left. She worked full time to put food on the table, drove us to school, cooked, cleaned religiously & never asked for help or complained. She never even raised her voice at us. She had a heart attack and had to have triple bypass surgery. After a couple months or less of healing she was going back to work. She's a phenomenal woman & I wish I had half the strength that she has. Not all of us choose to be single mothers. I notice a lot of times, men change after they have a child. They're all prince charming and then as soon as they get you pregnant they change.

I have to say, I never asked for child support. My kids dad was an alcoholic, I didn’t want him to ask for unsupervised time because I was scared. But with that said, I didn’t think it was right to ask for financial help if I didn’t let him see the kids. I do understand that I was doing okay financially (because I worked and went to school to become a nurse) and it might have felt different if I wasn’t but yeah. I do it all, 100% and I sleep well at night.

Id go out on a limb and say she hates being a mom it interrupted her life. And listeningvto thus podcast showed her that not everyone thi ks like her. Not everyone regrets having a child/kids and most importantly some men love being fathers. As a man who has been a single fathers I say we are a vetter single parent because the najority if us handle the stress better, and alot of women will never admit that there are alot of aint shit women/moms out here who are above reproach just because they are moms

How can he feel bad for women if he pays all the bills?
Men have a different idea if they have the kids. We already have the idea we are supposed to provide for our house. When a man takes care of the kids and they live with him, he already feels like it’s his responsibility. Saying your rent should be paid as a single mother sounds ridiculous because, as a single woman, you would be paying your own rent. The difference comes if a man took a woman out of her father’s house, married her and provided for her, then gave her a baby, now he wants to up and leave.
When women have a child out of wedlock, you were single before the baby, living on your own prior… driving around on your own to deal with multiple men… so keep the same energy and provide for your house when you want to separate from the man.
Not in everyone’s situation, but if you just think about it in practical terms… women get the responsibility of allowing children to come into the world. With that choice, they can also choose how they want to live.
I believe most men would take their child and not pay child support if you gave them the chance

Please, look me up by searching Jade H. Brooks. That'll give you an intro into who I am 🤞🏿 I haven't done press in a while but I love your show and your interview style. I think we would vibe well and educate a lot of women/single mothers.

It’s tough hearing “what if the mom moves on” because if she moves on and has a new man, the new man is responsible for their household.
That’s the hard part about split houses let the kid go with the dad if it’s that hard…

Single dads sadistically do a better job raising kids than single moms. It’s just a fact! As a single mother myself I can admit that. You can tell the host is a bitter baby mama

Also might i add, men do not go through the physical, mental & emotional changes from pregnancy. We have no control over the hormones and chemistry changes in our brain. Of course its easier for him to enjoy being a father. Mothers never have a chance to even slow down most of the time were overworked and underappreciated, & we do it anyway because we love our kids.

This was how my mom and dad were. Exactly like him. These new parents.. I don’t get it. You guys do not like your children or parenthood and it’s sad. Her responses are amazing. Both her and her baby daddy are shit.

Your parents don’t have 5000$ rent it’s not that we don’t like parenthood it’s just hard having to do everything on our own when we’re living in a recession and bills are extremely high , takes away from the beauty of being a parent because it can get stressful

@@tacosnshawarma haha deleting my comment is crazy. My parents DID have the rent you have. We are upper middle class plus we’re black. They got it out the mud my parents are entrepreneurs very hard working. Nobody said parenting is easy but.. the dynamic you and your bd have with yall kids is a direct result of starting parenthood for a relationship or bc you had no choice vs actually wanting to become a parent.

@@janetjanetttt you said your parents implying that they were or even are together therefore the expenses were not as much separately. Congrats to them as not many remain together & i say that sincerely, mine were not. I think its fair to say though that a single custodial parent will always have more expenses than the non custodial especially without child support.

@@r-e_mii “my parents” implies I have two parents that did their job. Doesn’t imply anything about their relationship that was ended while my mother was still pregnant. Shut up. I said what I said.

I’m watching the episodes but baybee I need to know your story bc you seem very disgusted with men not giving money and making parenting seems easier then what us women go through.
Parenting is hard when you don’t have yourself or your child under control so then you start needing to dig in BD pockets for compensation bc you’re not parenting like you need to be. No bashing I’m just stating things n ion like how you was question his joyfulness in being a full time FATHER.
