I prefer the side which has least pimples💀

That's so real me too😂
Lmaoo
That’s my left 😢
For real it sucks when I have acne on my good side, or both!
My left side and my right side are two different people.
Don't tell me you have a lucky coin too

Man you are not alone
Ikr!! 😂
@@Seriouslyfunny1 Omg, a lucky coin!
Is that why my eyes look like this- 👁️

I had this insecurity for a long time too! Just remember your brain is 100% exaggerating, and other people are highly unlikely to notice.
Same and the right side of my lower lip is bigger
its asymmetry
Literally me
Don’t ever buy no weed from the gas station bro
Wasn't there something about facial asymmetry and people favouring the side with more defined jawline/straighter nose/less hooded eye?
Exactly. We love our bigger eye, better brow, higher cheek and more defined jaw. 70-80% of the population has better left side. Only 20-30% is "rightie". The full cast of the tv show Bones is leftie, for example. As always, everything can be reduced to maths😉
THIS! except that is my right side. my nose looks straighter n just overall my features look more aesthetically pleasing on my right side.
Yup. I don't get all these videos favoring a "phenomena". It's no phenomena, we're all asymmetric and one side will always have less facial defects than the other, thus we'll always prefer that one.
@@sebumpostmortemso the question is actually why does 70% of the population have a more symmetrical/attractive left side (
@@sophie-sm9qr yea. That's very interesting. Could it have something to do with the side we sleep on?
Yep. Left side is my favorite side. I would have never known about this “left side bias” without this video. I thought it was just me.
I thought it was just me I always thought that my right side was ugly and my left side was good looking, damn I didn't know this shit
@@normalhuman6962 same!! So crazy, right?
@@blackeneddove yeah shit's crazy

Same here man, but i believe if this video was made for the right side of the face, there would still be people like us agreeing to it.

I have an asymmetrical face, so both sides look really different 😂 My best side is dependent on the angle
you look beautiful
I’m tired of all the symmetrical faces…let’s make asymmetry the new movement!
My right side is actually my better side
I knew it had to with emotions and expressions. I noticed it too. Tho i don't see it much in other people i think it's a matter of preference that we all subconsciously agree on. I know my left side looks better so I'll take pictures on that side.
But isn't the whole left and right brain a myth and debunked
The right is is the one usually asymetric, the left side is more compact tight not fluffy or saggy thats why the left looks better.
In my case, the right side is more appealing.
I feel like it’s because most people are right handed and taking pictures of yourself with your right hand gives more flattering pics of the left side than right. Something about the camera and how it picks up the angle
I personally agree with this video.
I’m left handed and prefer the left side of my face and my case is just the same as this video
First girl needs to drop the mewing tutorial
I show my right side
its my right. My right jaw is more developed
jaw too developed looks masculine, not really appealing!!
@@melodiechartier5173i think theyre a dude
@@melodiechartier5173 bruh a defined jaw will not make you look necessarily 'masculine' it'd rather make you look majestic.
Im right side for sure
I have two very different side profiles unfortunately, and it has become one of my biggest insecurities 💔 my right side is just terrible it almost has a complete different bone structure from my left side
😭😭yes I struggle ..I avoid to show my right side as much as possible..but then when I do that I look funny
I feel you, it's literally the worst 😅
this!! its so weird, my right side has a more “droopy” look, i have several moles on that side, and my right eyebrow is also a lot bushier for some reason?? why is that
@@elsie4802same! I have an asymmetric jaw (a lot of people do so this might be your case too) where the left side is longer than the right, so my left jawline is strong and my right is weaker since it’s shorter and my skin looks droopier/jowlier since there’s less bone structure to stretch it out! Apparently people see your right side of your face first too, which is annoying 😭
@@katr_i_na ohh that’s interesting! Yeah could be the case🥲
I was obsessed with my left side .. wasn’t til my 30’s that I started loving my right side 😘😘😘😘 I even give it more attention when doing my makeup 😅
People see you as your right side so it makes more sense to pay attention to making right side look better
@@JohnDoe-fh8qc why is that? People really only see others throughout the right side of face?! That’s fascinating and I need to know more.
@@samanthagalasso6662 something with the brain works. But try looking at celebrity photos with their "right" side of their face covered (so you'll cover their left side of face) . You'll see that they look different. Now try it with people around you like family and friends.
my right side is my go to
Why she look so majestic tho the woman shown 🗿🗿💀💀
Nah she is trying hard to move her jaw forward
Nah she's pushing her jaw forward
@@zerpitbeamx8024 yo that’s right but whatever she doin she still fine as hell 💀👍🏻
I think it’s also because alot of people sleep on their right side of their face ( wich also can cause a breathing issues leading you to breathe from your right nostril more often which makes it bigger)
I’m a lefty but is has nothing to do with emotions; it’s due to the asymmetry, my left cheek is leaner than my right one so my left side has more of a high cheekbone, chiseled look
This!! Ive noticed this one everyone, that their left side is slimmer than the right side. And the right side is more droopy.
It’s not my left side, my right side is better. I have a bump/dip in the bridge of my nose when I turn left. On the right, perfect nose. My beauty mark is on my left side by my mouth and I like to show it. So usually end up slightly turning my head.
im fairly certain its connected to posture. Most people use their right hand and arm for generally everything, including holding their phones at unhealthy angles. This strains the muscles and causes postural imbalance as your left hand/arm is mostly unused and right is stressed. Most people are right hand dominant. It causes your neck muscles to be weaker on the right side thus causing weaker side profile and lack of forward projection of that side of your facial muscles aswell.
I heavily favor my right side, including bad posture, sleeping on the right side and eating on the ride side more. It's the side who looks harsher and more masculine, while my left side is prettier and softer. So I actually think it does the opposite.
I like my teeth how they are but for photos, my left side looks better bc my teeth are straighter on that side
Interesting. I thought it would be related to reading faces left to right and looking in the mirror makes you read the left side of your face first, whereas most people looking at you would observe the right side of your face first. But that might not apply with people who’s written language is structured differently.
I know most people prefer mirrored images of themselves instead of the angle other people see looking at them.
Personally I prefer my right. I have a natural beauty mark on my chin right side. Throughout my struggles with my self esteem it’s always been a fav attribute of mine.
I love my right side way more. My left side looks sloppy, and right side is much more sharp and sophisticated :)
For me it’s opposite my right side conveys more emotion and my right eye is a bit more beautiful just slightly more beautiful looking then my left eye in real life. I can also fully lift my right eyebrow upwards by itself while I can’t do it as much with my left eyebrow
It also depends on the side you sleep and eat
The side one sleeps in is irrelevant unless you constantly sleep in the same position without change consistently.
My face is asymmetrical (might be cuz car hit me when i was a teenager) and my right side really does look worse - my nose looks longer and you can see it was broke, face doesnt look soft but sharp somehow.. while left side looks much better cuz of the nose as it looks more straight and bump is less visible… and my emotions or my nerv is working best in my right eyebrow i can arch that up to heavens when i get irritated 😅
because make a left side selfie is easier, considering most people's dominant hand is right
Bingo.
I'm left-handed and I prefer my left side
Huh? Isn't it the other way around, it's easier to take a selfie of your right side if you are right handed since the right side is closer to the right hand than the left
Makes no sense
How is left side selfie easier? I guess I don’t understand how selfies work because I’m only good at taking them from my right side.
True! My nose on the right side seems bigger for some reason and the redness of my eyes is more visible ☹️
My right side is more attractive. Even though my left looks more feminine, my right has the better proportions. Also, I have a little birthmark at the right corner of my lips, which adds to the attractiveness.
It's a new fact that never thought about!
You who spending time day by day just to find left and right side of facial truth, lol. I feel burst to think about it.
Thanks for those who tried hard to found it out just to entertain people! 🎉
Idk I think my jawline is better on the left side 😂
who cares about jaw
I think my preferred side is my right. Im left-handed, so I'm surprised it's not my left then.
"Why do you find one side of your face more attractive?" Because it is, my right is better.
I like the left side of my face a lil more
No one ever talks about this, this is also about mandible, i used to eat food with the left side, making the bones stronger and bigger, making the right side look better since in the right side makes the left sides bone look more prominent and have nice curves, now things changed, i have equal mandible and it doesnt matter, but no one ever talked about it, the bones structure changes with ur mandible activity
I favor my left side for portraits because my right eye is a lil fucked up, but in a cute, handsome, masculine way
And I had thought this was my thing... Only personal to me... Glad to know that others think so too
That's super interesting because I had Bell's Palsy on my left side at a young age, so my left side is permanently a bit weaker on the facial expressions. It's not noticeable to others, but I do feel myself putting more effort into moving/coordinating the muscles on that side, so sometimes I wonder what my face would feel like if I never had the condition.
I prefer my left side because of how my nose is slanted, it just appears smaller from that angle
Yep! My left side hands down!
The way I’m so shook by this bc I do indeed have a left side bias 😅
I have a deviated septum and because of that my nose just looks HECKA long from my right side so that's why I personally prefer my left lol
I love those shell earrings
I think I prefer the right because my skin is clearer in that side
I'd like to see a comparison with cultures that have languages read right-to-left
Absolutely correct 😮
My good side is my right side but I am left handed so maybe that has something to do with it 🤷♀️
Usually left-handed people have the brain controls switched, so instead of the right side brain controlling emotions it’s the left side brain and vice-versa with the other controls
So if it is actually controlled by the brain sides like the short says, the fact that you’re left handed does affect the “good side”
That’s what I thought as well, I’m a lefty and I prefer my right side.
I'm right handed & preferr my right side
it’s just a myth
@@soomaan1220how is a myth?
I do prefer my right side since it looks younger, with fewer wrinkles
two-face out here asking batman which side he prefers
right tmcc pattern makes it so that you have a more compact left side which looks better
I have no preference but when I put makeup on, my left side looks good.
My right side is my to go but got acne in there😭
Right side all the way! I always remember bc my nose is pierced on my right side which I didn’t even do intentionally but it is my better side
It has a lot to do with the Left-AIC pattern and facial asymmetries that come with it
Literally all my blemishes and acne are on my right side so 😅
i just realized why i felt this way.
My left side is my favorite 😆
I prefer my left side just because my hormonal acne is more prominent on my right side
My right is actually my good side. Even through my body I notice everything is more enhanced on my right. Even my strength, I still don’t understand that part because I’m left handed
I thought it was bc most of us are right handed making the left eye our dominant one which makes it see more and focus more on that side when observing ourselves and others
For me, depends on the day they’re days my left side looks horrendous, but my right side eats and vice versa 😭😭
That comment about the left side of the face being able to emote better just made me realise that the only eyebrow that im able to raise is my left one... When i try to scrunch my face, it's easier on the left side also..
I can only raise my left eyebrow and not my right. I’ve always wondered why.
due to unsymmetrical beard growth my right one is just perfect
There's a study on the fact that majority of people tend to view the right side of peoples faces much more than the left side when interacting with them. It's a general habit of interaction for most people and you can test it yourself by interacting with people you have interacted with before and focus specifically on which side of the face you are looking at, one may make you a bit uncomfortable since it feels like you have a completely new view of the person.
Similarly we do the same when we look at ourselves in the mirror so we often become more comfortable with the left side of our face since mirrors reflect. Unfortunately this isn't the side other people typically pay attention to as much.
I have the freckle under the eye that looks like a small beauty mark and on my nose on the left side so I prefer the left.
The myth of parts of the body being controlled by certain sides of the brain is false. The whole brain controls the whole body. Yes, the right side of the brain does handle emotions: but it does not exclusively handle the left side of the body. The right brain’s function as an emotional processor has no bearing on facial expressions on the left side of the face.
It’s not really a myth, because it’s based of of research and case studies. People that have brain damage on a hemisphere tend to loose the ability to move the side that is controlled by that hemisphere.
People that have a damaged corpus callosum have the sides of their body behave in autonomy of one another.
There was an English teacher that somehow had only one side of her brain, so she could move only one half of her body (the opposite of the hemisphere). You can look it up to find out more.
that thumbnail woman has the best side profile ive ever seen
You literally took the picture and just inverted it, still showing the right side
yea so everytime me and my friends tries to take a photo we all be looking on one side on the left 😂
Tbh it's because my left side is shorter. My face is slightly asymmetrical
i believe it has to do with jaw development.the bones are developed more on one side than the other which also causes asymmetry
i prefer my left but i don’t think it’s psychological, my jaw points to the right a bit so it seems to protrude too much looking from the right. also i just think my facial structure is better on the left. even if i flip my photos i usually look better taken from the left
Left side is where my dimples are deeper, so yeah. And parts my hair more on the left 😅
Left side is for defence while punching
" right handed man"
I think it has to do with being right handed. Overworking my right side literally causes the muscle in my race to tense up. Also, I chew on my right side and that hasn’t helped with facial asymmetry. Then, I sleep on the left side, so that side is smaller, but it shifted my lower jaw more to the right side.
U sleep on ur left side so the half left of ur face is smaller???!
What on earth
@@aleejjj You really couldn’t figure out how to spell “you” and “your”?
i'm left handed and i prefer my left side.
@@cassandracaldera7071 Check to see if your lower jaw has moved to your right side
@@cassandracaldera7071 opposite for me! i guess the side you sleep on really affects your face or how you view yourself. (besides having pimples on the side i sleep on 😭) my left side is slightly more defined collarbone and neck-wise and i have less buccal fat (maybe that could be because i've chewed more with one side than the other?) but my right side has a more defined jawline. i don't even know anymore. i just know i'm pretty lmfao.
Crazy! I've always favored my left side! My right side droops a little bit more in the cheek area has a little more congestion/scarring, and the jawline is not as defined.
I’m obsessed with both sides
I like my right side better. I think in part because I am right handed and hold my phone on the right, so it is easier to maneuver my phone on the right side of my face. On the left side, I have to cross my phone over to the other side a bit, which is minutely more uncomfortable.
I always thought my right side looked better because I’m left handed because a lot of right handed people I know (pretty much everyone) always favored their left side more lol
Most people also have an asymmetrical face, it is quite common and normal, the differences are more or less visible so most prefer one side subconsciously ^^
My left side is also where my hair part is.... it jist frames my face better than to see a sliver of my face that is covered by my hair
Interesting! For me it’s my right side. I like it more 😅
The study of physiognomy which developed in China over 100s of years, states that the left side is the “feminine” thus softer side while the right side is the masculine. It’s now deemed a pseudo science but there are many books on it and it’s really interesting! It’s the topic of how facial features are linked with certain personality traits.
I do favour my left side, I guess it looks more lifted.
Hahaha you can tell by my pfp that I like more my left side, this is a thought that I've been having since quite a long time, so I've always try to take pictures from the left side or i just wouldn't like it, it looks sooo different and the right side is just not as cute or beautiful as the left :c, but well it is what it is. Thanks for pointing this out as I didn't know other people felt the same thing
My intuition tells me this can be explained at a much more simple and pragmatic level. i’m right eye dominant, so i show the right side of my face more.
That’s the exact same bias for me
If they’re selfies, aren’t the images mirrored? Did they take that into account? Cause my right is better but a selfie makes it look like my left side.
The left and right hemisphere of the brain controlling separate things is the most common scientific spoof
I am right handed and prefer my right side, I look chadlite in right side and HTN on left.
Actually, research shows that there might be a correlation between mothers, holding their child on the right side, and then looking into their child’s left eye most often than the right… So as the child ages and develops, when looking into their own left eye in a reflection, or into others, left eye, it triggers an emotional/bonding response.
I wonder if side preference and mobility will relate to the side of the face we sleep on
I take pics from my right side bc I’m right handed so I was always resting my head on my left hand in high school when I was starting to loose baby fat, so my left cheek silhouette looks sculpted
i do prefer my left side but looking at my selfies theyre all on the right Lol
