But what I really appreciated were these very unique tips which I’ve never heard of but explains so much when my dishes haven’t came out well such as the importance of the shallot being very thinly sliced due to the strong flavor. I already sliced my shallot, but I hope I’ll be able to get a good flavor because now I just ended up mincing the shallot lol! Kap koon kap! One question, many times the salad might have a bit of a bitter flavor from the line. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I use quest, limes, and a regular citrus juicer. Any ideas? I am getting the bitter flavor?

Hello from Dubai! It is the middle of self isolation during Corona and wanting to try a new dish. I don't have a mortar and pestle, can I use a regular blender to grind the rice? We lived in Bangkok for 3 years and loved the food - can't wait to try this. Thank You! xo

hi Siri, i made beef meatballs episode 48 WOW YUM!! i got 38 jumbo meatballs 4 less than 9$!!! i put them in mushroom soup serve with pasta in stead of tomato sauce : ) Greeting.
I’ve seen versions where they discard the liquids coming out from cooking the chicken since chicken can be a bit toxic. I also see people add palm sugar as well. Thoughts?

We made this tonight. Tasty. Found it very salty. Either it was the fish sauce brand, or the chicken bullion (the suspect)? Will adjust next time. Can see this will be a favorite once we figure it out. *WARNING:* Toasting the Chili peppers. _Crikey!!!_ Went into eye watering coughing fits! Highly irritated the lungs & sinuses. The air seemed instantly infused with something released (capsicum?). Opened the windows/ turned on every fan to dissipate. Won't toast these again.

Yes, the fish sauce/lemon juice ratio is very important. This dish is always a big hit in my house too. Never have left overs when I make this one.
