While I can't disclose much, it usually goes from a preliminary interview stage, to team interview, to a writing assessment and then another final interview depending on the role. The timeline may vary between 1-3 months based on the number of candidates they have and where you are based. Hope this helps!

Hello , sir I'm an Engineering graduate from India and I'm eager in getting internship in world organization or the government sector but since I'm a fresh graduate do i have a chance in the UN
Hey, thank you so much for this content! I plan to apply for a position in the The Public Partnerships and Resourcing Division (PPR). I wonder if you have any idea on the job role in this division? Thank you!
Hey Amalia, Glad you like the content! I wish I had more knowledge about what you're asking for, however, I do know that the division is always on the look-out in terms of charting new directions through established synergies to tackle challenges in communities across the globe. I'd encourage you to read this document to get a better sense:docs.wfp.org/api/documents/WFP-0000104342/download/ (Hope this helps!)
Thank you for such an informative video! I wanted to ask, will they consider a 3-year student in bachelor studies even though the requirement states that the minimum is "to be enrolled in the final year". I heard that not all requirements need to be satisfied to get the internship but not sure about this case. Also, once selected, did you have any difficulties with obtaining medical insurance? Once again, thank you!
Thanks for watching! If the J.D clearly states that you have to be in the final year, then getting selected as a third year would be quite tough! In terms of the medical insurance, that is something you'd have to get it from the country you reside in. It was quite straightforward for me! Hope this helps. Good luck!
Bonjour, I have been elated by watching the content in this video. First of all, I congratulate you for the position you've been right now and I want to know about UNICEF Health and Nutrition Sector . Can I know the path way in this field or is there any pathway in attaing this position ?
Thank you! Unfortunately, I don't have an experience with UNICEF. I wouldn't wanna provide an information which I am not sure about and could prove detrimental to your application. Hope you understand!
Hey, Thank you for the video! I have a question tho!! How early do you have to apply for the internship? like is a year from before enough time? or should it be longer?
Great Question! I'd say apply as soon as you see the opening. Given the volume of applications they receive, it's always better to apply early. Remember: Start dates can often be negotiated :)
Hello, thank you for sharing your experience! In the job description they request to add 3 references, may I ask if you need to include their contact information only or attach 3 references letters from them?
Hey bro, just got your video at the right time. 😁😁😁 I am in my 3rd year of Bsc agriculture degree. And I will be in the 4th year next year. So I was planning to apply for this internship. But I am confused when to apply. And when does it start. And what is the selection procedure.
Thanks so much this video is really helpful. If I may ask, do you know if I can apply for the UN internship with a postgraduate diploma becuase I earned my bachelor's degree like 3 years ago? So what I have now is just a postdraduate diploma not a master's degree Thanks a lot
Hi! I am interviewing with WFP tomorrow as a Business Innovation Consultant intern. Do you have any advice on interviewing? Would appreciate your thoughts.
Hey I'm going to graduate in engineering this year. I want to work with UN for a very long time😅. I've heard that you need to have some experience or internship before applying for job. So can i ask whether this internship is paid? Or you need to take care of your charges yourself?
Hola! This is nandini, currently doing my bachelor's degree in economics and also doing diploma in Spanish (one of the un's language) . I am doing all this so as to get an internship with unescap, HQ in Bangkok! So can you just suggest me that how can I improve my resume so as to get an assured internship there! And also, tell me if it is worthy to get an internship at regional and sub regional offices of un as there are such in India, Delhi!!
Hey! Kudos to you for following your dream! I'd say start getting as much experience as you can within the humanitarian field or the field which is your expertise. As I mention in the video, they're interested in what skills you can bring to the table, and what experience you have. Ofcourse, nothing ever is assured. However, I'd say try and get your foot in whichever office you can. It's easier to move around once you're in the system. Hope this helps :)
Hey Kanchan, happy that you like the content! While you certainly can apply, I'd suggest getting some stronger academic experience. At this point, you might largely benefit from volunteering with UN agencies and forging those essential networks. I'd recommend, you checkout unv.org.
Good question! I'd say, it is a possibility. There are often communications, and translations opportunities that come up. More so if you speak those specific languages.
Thanks for the like and all but this still leaves my question unanswered. If you don't know that's fine but now I get the feeling you saw my question and thought 'hm, good question' and then just kinda left a like 😅
You are amazing brother. I have got lots of information from you. Now i am going to ready for my next UN job interview. May Allah bless you.

While I can't disclose much, it usually goes from a preliminary interview stage, to team interview, to a writing assessment and then another final interview depending on the role. The timeline may vary between 1-3 months based on the number of candidates they have and where you are based. Hope this helps!

Does lawyers have scope in UN? Will it benefit lawyers in their careers by such internships?
Hello, thank you for sharing your experience! In the job description they request to add 3 references, may I ask if you need to include their contact information only or attach 3 references letters from them?
Good question, this might be something you'd wanna directly clarify with the hiring manager you're in touch with since it varies.

The internships at WFP are paid. However, they're paid enough to off-set the basic costs of living.
